We asked the the operator she quoted us quoted is $3 for small, $4 for medium and $5 for a large. With only a dollar difference between sizes we splurged and order the large which came out to $6.13 including taxes. We were delighted to find pipping hot fresh fries, wish they filled the fries up all the way though. We also got the limited edition FIFA Cup sleeve! Even though this is the closest McDonald's I avoid going here all the time. From bad service, long wait times, items missing, and workers trying to charge me for sauces when they should come with my order of nuggets, this place is AWFUL. Every now and then I decide to give them another chance but I am officially DONE with this place. I ordered a smoothie in the drive thru and they handed me a cup that wasn't even filled. Unfortunately this isn't uncommon but I usually don't complain because it seems silly to complain about 5-10% of my smoothie missing BUT THIS TIME it was almost as if I had ordered a small instead of a large. It was so unbelievable that I had to take a photo (not thinking I would use it in a review.) I asked the worker if they could fill it up and so she took it and handed it back to me full. I thought that would be the end BUT I WAS WRONG. After driving away and taking a sip from the smoothie I realized what they had did. No one chooses a McD based on the reviews but I still wanted to say that this location does not get your order right most of the time. I'm not special ordering anything, just making required selections based on the online prompts. Selecting a happy meal with nuggets, apples as the second side, and sweet and sour sauce means I will instead get two fry sides and no sauce. Shrug. I can only describe this specific McDonald's as "dystopian." This is not based on a single visit, I have given them multiple chances, but today's visit will be my last. The food? Today I made the error of placing an order through the App. I placed it when I was close to 10 minutes away. Still, when I arrived, the screen showed my order was still being processed. Eventually, it moved over to the "now serving" column, but the order was never called out. Then it disappeared from the screen, never having been called. I had to get the attention of a counter person (not all that easy as they were studiously avoiding the glares of a waiting area full of pissed-off customers). I was told they were waiting on the chicken strips. I had to get in their face again to remind them I was still waiting. All total, my wait for "fast food", including the time since I placed the order on the App was 45 minutes. And the woman waiting next to me said she had been there close to an hour. On a previous visit, I had similar problems with the order fulfillment system: An order number appeared, then listed as "now serving" then vanished from the screen without being called. Then they acted like I was inventing words when I asked if the order was ready or not. That time, I emailed the owner to complain, and was given a $20 gift certificate. Listen, I hate my job too...but the workers at this McDonalds really make sure you know they do. Every. Single. Time. I come here, it's a new disappointment. I was in line for about twenty minutes...at the window...before this unfortunate soul who's last two braincells were fighting for second place, asks "ummm you get your food yet?". Yes ma'am. I'm sitting here in my car, outside your service window because I thought it would be fun. She gave me this look like her entire mental state just had a 404 error, and is now a human version of the blue screen of death.
