It was super busy when we arrived on a Tuesday around 5pm. A table opened up while we were waiting for our burgers. Table was dirty since we grabbed it as soon as the people before left. The cheeseburger tasted fresh and good.

Higher prices - but still reasonable.

Boy this place is so crowded! There was a long drive thru line at 3:00. Just to get a parking place, I had to circle the whole big lot and park a ways away. Once inside - the service was friendly. The inside looks basically like all of them. The food is always good.

On a recent visit to San Diego I had to make my trip into the In-N- Out Burger Living on the East Coast it's always a treat to visit this burger place. Always very busy but this fast, efficient, well trained staff gets you In and Out quickly. Good food at a fair price. Always Highly Recommend !!

In-N-Out Burger amazing place . First of all the location was great. The place was clean, customer service was on point, the wait time was fast, everything honestly was fantastic like it usually is. Now the fries I'm talking about are something I created. They're customizable fries. You cannot walk in and order them by the name Abel's Fries, that's just what I call them. If you want to try them you have to order everything separately the way I say it. So here's what you order: Fries slightly salted, medium crisp, a Flying Dutchman whole grill, a side of chopped peppers, a side of pickles, and a lemon wedge. When you get your food don't just eat it like that. Sit down, grab a little plastic knife must bring your own , chop the Flying Dutchman up right into the fries, mix in the peppers and pickles, then squeeze a little bit of lemon on top. Trust me it brings the whole thing together. Abel's Fries at In-N-Out Burger Order: * Fries slightly salted, medium crisp * Flying Dutchman whole grill * Side of chopped peppers * Side of pickles * Lemon wedge Chop up the Flying Dutchman into the fries, add the peppers and pickles, then squeeze a little lemon on top. #InNOutBurger #StorageKingFries #BurgerReview #FoodHack #FriesUpgrade #SecretMenu #BurgerLovers

I had only had In-N-Out once before in Arizona years ago. I wanted to try it again now that I see it all the time on Tik Tok. The food came out quick for how busy it was in there. For "fast food" - the burger is much higher quality than other fast food places. I liked it much better this time since I felt like I knew what to order. The cashier was so nice and the guy cleaning up inside was also very nice and helpful! It's a west coast must try on your trip for a quick burger!

Extra crispy fries!!!

Early dinner in San Diego, California... Before the Padres' baseball game, my cousins wanted to eat something... We had a short discussion and decided on In-N-Out Burger. This is a well-known fast food chain with a small menu, fresh ingredients, and friendly employees! The nearest In-N-Out happened to be a drive-through. The line of cars was long. I thought that this might make us late for the game, but a couple of staff were outside, taking orders on tablets! That's efficient! We got our order in no time! I enjoyed my Hamburger with grilled chopped onions and grilled whole onions! My extra crispy French Fries stayed crunchy for a long time! Yum! I sure needed my Coca-Cola... it was part of the #3 Combo... my new favorite for $8.40, plus tax! We really appreciated the bonus stickers!!! Thank you!!! By the way... we made it as scheduled to the Padres' game! Yippee!

This location is pretty consistent with what you'd expect from In-N-Out -- fresh food, friendly staff, and that signature smell of grilled onions that hits you soon as you pull into the parking lot. The line is generally long (both inside and outside), but it moves faster than you'd expect. The employees here are usually efficient, even when the place is packed. My order is usually spot-on. Everything comes out hot and fresh. The parking lot can be chaotic, especially during lunch and dinner rush, but that's with any of their locations. Overall, a reliable spot when you're craving that classic fix.

This is the way...protein style 4 by 2, sub ketchup and mustard, add bunch of veggies. 640 calories, over 50 grams protein!

This is one of the easiest in-n-outs to navigate in and out of. The line snakes into the street and there is no confusion or cross traffic as in some locations. Workers are always great at getting my complicated orders, and quality is always excellent. I have eaten in-n-out since I was a wee lad and will be continuing to eat in-n-out until my last breath. If we do move out of California, this will be the thing I miss most, by far. Favorite order off diet: Double double, animal style, no lettuce, extra tomato, add whole grilled onion and raw onion, chopped chilies, large chocolate strawberry shake. Favorite order on diet: 4x2, protein style, extra lettuce & tomato, add grilled onion, pickles, and chopped chilies, no shake : (

I requested fries well done and they fries tasted slightly burnt. Beyond well done that Post Malone would say congratulations instead. Wouldn't be surprised if the accidentally added salt and refried it to get rid of it. Employees look like they hate their job with their reaction/impatience when customers don't sprint to obtain their order. Wasn't greeted when I walked up to the register. It's as if management doesn't care about teaching the employees some human decency. Oh, and they forgot the grilled onions to my animal burger. So there's that too.

While I don't think In-N-Out is the end-all be-all of fast-casual burger spots, I like to stop into one whenever I'm in the Western US since there are none on the East coast. My brother was with me for this trip, and since he had never had InO before it all but confirmed that we would go here. We were in Hillcrest and finished exploring, and since this was the closest one we headed over. In my experience, InO is super popular, so it can be hot mess waiting in line at the drive-thru, looking for a spot, placing an order, and finding a seat - really anything. We got lucky though, as soon as we pulled into the parking lot I found a spot, and I was happy to find that it wasn't crowded inside - I didn't have to wait for a table nor in line to order; it was a total win. The interior looks like any typical InO. We went simple and ordered cheeseburgers with a side of fries; we got them Animal Style which is their (barely) secret menu item. Basically, if you order something Animal Style they will put extra toppings and flavors on the food. I think Animal Style is worth it, but if you're not into cheese or cooked onions or their spread I can see why you would opt out. The food was good - I think InO delivers solid fare but I personally prefer Sh*ke Sh*ck burgers; their fries, however, are really good. Service was excellent - they have a well-run operation; everyone was friendly and our food was ready in a relatively short amount of time. Overall, I had a great experience at this InO - definitely keeping it on my radar to try again the next time I'm in SD.

Always consistent and priced fairly. This location was slammed on Saturday night, but the wait time wasn't horrible, and it was clean overall--our first stop after arriving in San Diego. No complaints here, the burger was great, everything was freshly prepared and well packaged for takeaway.

Long drive-thru lines? No problem. We were out in 15 minutes! Wish all In-N-Outs were as efficient as this location. Kudos!!

There's and indoor/outdoor area so pet-friendly! They also have a dog treat they make in house as well David and all of the staff today were incredibly welcoming. The chicken salad sandwich was so full and toasted to perfection, the wasabi beef was flavorful and also did not lack protein!

I heard they're going to start serving beer and wine soon as well! *Best 1st-timer options*: The Keeper (if you like it spicy) or the L.G.B.T. My favorite hot sandwiches are the Cali Cubano, B3, and The Keeper, while my favorite cold sandwiches are the Avocado Highway, L.G.B.T. (lettuce, gouda, bacon, tomato), and Caprese. My favorite salads are the Grapevine and Duck Cranberry. For sides I recommend the potato salad and tomato basil bisque. The aioli they use is to die for -- can't hurt to get a side of it with any sandwich! The restaurant is situated on the corner of Park Blvd. and Polk Ave. (more generally, it's on the strip of Park Blvd. between University Ave. and El Cajon Blvd.). There is usually a good amount of parking on Park Blvd. and Polk Ave., which is nice. The space has a simple-yet-tasteful modern design and interior, is always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great for lunch hour or a weekend date. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too. We both agreed the potato salad could use some salt, but besides that it was a solid meal all around.

Definitely the best sandwich around! Something for…read moreeveryone! The service was great as well. (Dutch Crunch for the bread choice).

I was really excited about going to Ike's to try out their sandwiches but to assert that my…read moreexpectations were not only destroyed but put to shame for ever thinking highly of them would be an understatement. I came in and immediately the woman working in the front I could tell was rude and radiating negative energy. I am witnessing a common theme about this with many of the other people who have left negative reviews about this establishment. You guys also seem to reply and pretend like you resolve the issue but there have been multiple review follow-ups where people claim you guys do not actually make up for the horrible service. Anyway, I walk in and immediately I have to wait a long time to order and I can tell that the guy in front of me has been there a while already. Finally, I place my order and the lady is so awfully rude. Every answer I had for her questions made me feel that I had done something wrong even though I was very nice and just there for a simple thing: to get a sandwich. I usually greet people and ask how they are doing but she got directly to business. I understand that she was busy but she was immediately unwelcoming. "What kind of bread would you like?" (I do not see the bread on the menu when I immediately look up so I reply, "white (I will admit there are many different types of bread but I did not know what they have and usually when I order somewhere I just say white and they know what I am talking about or politely ask for clarification) *she rolls her eyes* "french, sourdough, Dutch?" Then, she asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato. I replied, "just lettuce please" and again she makes me feel dumb for just ordering. I ask if the sandwich comes with mayonnaise because it was not listed but there were additional items on it and she says that they do not have mayonnaise but another sauce as if mayonnaise is a crazy request. "Can I get a name for the order?" "Jessica" "Jessica?" like my name is ugly or something and not like she could not hear me. At this point I am picking apart everything that she uttered but seriously such an unhappy woman with no hospitality skills. Trust me on this and either experience it yourself or read some other 1-star reviews if you do not believe me. She then walked away as I was still paying so I could not even ask for a receipt or anything. This was essentially the extent of my direct experience with the woman in the front but I witnessed more things happening to other customers while I was waiting for my sandwich for a really long time. Apparently an order kept getting rung up and people kept coming in trying to pick it up but it had already been picked up and the woman would say "communicate this. someone already picked it up" with a huge attitude like it was their fault there was a glitch in the system. I also took notice that there was a big order for 4:30 and when the order was finished, one of the male workers went over and served himself a drink from the soft drinks dispenser and when he was handing the woman all of the many bags, he took a break to take a drink out of his cup. I think it also important that I add she had already been given 5-6 bags and was caring a lot and he was not coughing and desperately needed water and I do not even think there was water in the cup. I will also say though that all of the customers waiting were very friendly and understanding that they were busy and I am too but there was no reason to be rude and lack the principles of basic costumer service. I work with people too and we all have bad days but by the looks of these other reviews, this is a very common occurrence. I am glad people are willing to speak up about this. Another thing I noticed was that apparently someone's order was not in the system and they made the person feel so bad for it and that it was their fault except with all of these problems, it is highly likely that this could have been the establishment's fault but they never even entertained this. I might also add that the woman that took my order when she was making sandwiches I saw her cough into her hands (no gloves mind you) and then grab the *at least it was* wrapped sandwich and put it in the bag. I wanted to try this place because it was close to my campus and I will say that the sandwich tasted good but it was nowhere near worth the horrible aura I experience while being at Ike's. I will surely never spend another dime at Ike's and encourage my friends to not support a business that does not prioritize cleanliness and kindness. Even when they packed up my order, the same man who was taking sip breaks handing a woman her order, was throwing my stuff together and gave me a tiny bag when he saw I was also holding my chips and drink. That was not very thoughtful if you ask me but I would not expect thoughtfulness after what I had already endured from this sandwich joint. I think Ike's would benefit from a personality change and should consider improving their warmth and helpful nature.
