    My favorite Greek wine: Naoussa!
    Luis R P.

Always great fast service. An awesome selection of Greek dishes at very reasonable prices. The food is always tasty, fresh and nicely presented. Good generous portions too. Great decor and ambiance and a nice patio outside. Good selection of wines although lately the Limpio and the more economic Greek reds have been out of stock.

Excellent food, excellent location, great service and good prices. I got the dolmas, the hummus, the spicy feta and the tzatziki to eat at my hotel for a couple of days and I was highly impressed. I'm a snob when it comes to Mediterranean food and they won me over. The pine nut addition to the dolmas is a game changer

We came here for lunch to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The atmosphere was welcoming, our waitress was warm and friendly. The food was very delicious: tender calamari perfectly seasoned and the combination plate was plentiful. The Greek salad with Feta cheese was delicious as well as the entire plate. This is becoming one of my favorite go to places for yummy food and great customer service. 2026(17)

As usual, had such a great meal at Olympic Cafe. This is one of those places that feels comfortable and welcoming the second you walk in, with generous portions and food that tastes homemade. The Kokkinisto was the standout for me. The beef was incredibly tender and rich without being heavy, and the tomato-based sauce had that slow-cooked flavor that makes you want to keep dipping bread into it long after you're full. Comfort food in the best way. We also had the chicken skewers with rice, salad, pita, and tzatziki, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. Even the simple side salad and feta felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. San Diego has a lot of Mediterranean spots, but this feels authentic, unfussy, and is consistently good, clearly has heart behind it.

I've heard so many great comments about this place so I had to try it. We Went for lunch and had the 1/2 chicken plate and the salmon plate. Plates have large portions. Everything was so delicious!!! The wait staff work together to give great service to everyone. We went during lunch time and got in right away. Almost all the tables were full with people. Inside is decorated very much like a Greek hotel. Very authentic. I loved everything about this place. I'll be back.

It was my coworker's birthday and he picked this spot for our office lunch back in June of 2024. We shared everything family style. I tried the dolmadakia, pork soulvakia, Olympic salad, a lamb shank, and the beef, chicken, and gyro platters. Everything was tasty and flavorful!

Definitely a hole in the wall spot for Mediterranean food! They have a small parking lot in the front and back. I wanted something light for dinner so I ordered the agvolemono soup and a chicken kabob. My first time having that soup and it is so refreshing! The chicken kabob was so tender and juicy too. Our servers were super friendly and always checked up on us.

So good and so authentic! Usually when I get gyro meat or kebabs somewhere else it's dry but here it's so moist! I even had leftovers and they heated up perfectly. I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Our servers were so funny and they checked on us constantly. There is parking in the front of the restaurant making it easy for customers. Also the menu had a lot of really interesting things I never tried! Definitely a new go to spot for me for Greek food!

My Wife and I were celebrating our 28 year anniversary and we were looking for a place to have some Greek food. We came across the Olympic Cafe on Yelp and saw the delicious food pictures that were posted and we decided to try. We loved our experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious...I had the gyro plate and my wife had the chicken salad plate. We tasted the cheese cake for dessert and that was scrumptious. Over all, a very quaint place with great service and a delicious experience.

Co worker wanted to come here for lunch. It was 4 of us and we were able to pick our own table. The waitress came right away and we ordered. I got the steak sandwich with a salad. It was decent. The steak wad thin but had flavor.

Cute little Greek restaurant in North Park. Their parking lot is tiny and a terror to get into while dodging other cars, would probably just park in the nearby residential areas on the street in the future. We ordered the saganaki appetizer which is a block of cheese they light on fire as they bring out, very savory and rich, comes with a side of pita. A bit too salty/oily for me, but it was to be expected. My partner got the moussaka which was SO good, very flavorful with distinct layers and a rich bechamel sauce on top. I ordered the gyro and spanakopita combo w a side of hummus. The gyro was flavorful but a little dry, and the spanakopita was so soggy, not one bit of crisp which was disappointing. The hummus was good, helpful because the plates are a little carb heavy. Most plates come with pita, pilaf, and a tasty side salad. Seems like you have to order the right item here. Service was friendly and accommodating, the place is well-decorated and on theme. They have an "outdoor" seating area in a big tent if you prefer. The inside is a bit more casual, with staff standing at cafe counter and some tables for seated diners.

Came here with friends for an early dinner. Parking is not the best but that's the only negative. To start I ordered Saganaki which is Flamed Kasseri Cheese with pita. Lemony, cheesy goodness. I ordered the Super Greek Combo which is Gyro, Chicken Kabob and Spanakopita with Rice, Salad and Pits for $22. It was yummy! Filling but I didn't bloated or stuffed. Had to get a side of falafel cause I'm a fatty! The table ordered dessert. The carrot cake and the banana chocolate chip cake were ok, nothing special about it. But the Baklava was flakey, honey goodness a def must have! The cheesecake was another HOMERUN! Homemade daily and so good! Then we tried the Galactoboureko which is a custard baked in filo smothered in honey syrup. Now the true gem of the whole experience was our server Jamié! He killed it! Funny, courteous, knew the menu, made helpful suggestions and didn't rush us! Who ever runs the Olympic Cafe should give him a bonus! The patio was nice spot cause it's not crowded, it's breezy and chill spot.
