    Yummy drinks!!

Recently stopped by with friends - not my first time here. I just wanted to take the time to say how awesome our server Mikayla was (I believe she had a nickname she goes by, but I can't remember. Her service was truly above and beyond. She was attentive and paid attention to details and brought us every single thing we could possibly need, all while taking care of others too!! The food was tasty as always. And I love sitting on the patio. Thanks for the great service Mikayla!

Can't wait to be back... and for twilight themed trivial night?? Team Edward. Went on Friday so missed out on trivia but all of their week nights have different themes to bring traffic in! It's working, twilight trivia night sounds like a trip. Anywho, sat outside on their dog friendly patio and the staff were great with recommendations. Enjoyed a nonalcoholic lager, jalapeño poppers to start which were wrapped in amazing crispy bacon, seared ahi salad with a hearty portion of tuna, and to finish it off with the warm chocolate chip cookies.

Had dinner here prior to heading to Lafayette. Got the smash burger which was fresh and perfectly smashed. Fries were a great side. Beers on tap are great. The chicken sandwich was huge. Service a bit slow even though not busy yet friendly and not a huge deal

Good service, and good food. Came here on a Friday afternoon after my flight from San Jose. Our waiter was very quick to serve us water and take our orders! The inside of the restaurant looks amazing! Such a cool find

I love, love, loved this place!! Their own beer (check), wine (check), craft cocktails (yes indeed)!!! On to the food.... I highly recommend the Buffalo Cauliflower. Crispy and light with the right amount of heat! Jalepenos Poppers with a huge piece of bacon stuffed with cheddar jack cheese... oh my!!! I ordered the Spicy Turkey Melt with House Roasted Turkey, this sandwich made me hummm! ;) It came with the most cripsy fries too! Beer battered!!! My friend's had the Smash Burger and the Adobada Taco plate! WE were all raving about how fresh and delicious the food was. This place has something for everyone! Check it out, you will thank me later!

We stopped in after a drink at The Lafayette to grab some food! Simple menu and casual vibes. The outdoor area was very cute and I'm sure super nice in the warmer months. Food was good - exactly what was ordered and expected. The keg for the cider that I initially wanted was kicked, and the waitress was quick to give me 2-3 other options. Nice list of draft beers and ciders as well as bottles and cans. The service was outstanding - our waitress was incredibly sweet and great at her job. She chatted with us during her free moments and made us feel welcome.

Love that I don't have to trek all the way to PB anymore just to catch the Niners game. With the tap room now they're right around the corner I no longer have to worry about driving or taking a uber/Lyft. TVs cover the place, inside and out on the patio, so you'll never miss a play. It's the perfect spot to grab a cold brewski, munch on some tasty bar bites, and cheer on the boys in red and gold. Even with the crowd of football fans hooting and hollering, the service stayed on point super attentive the whole time. Parking's mostly street-only, so it might take a minute to find a spot, but it's still way easier than the PB chaos. After an epic win, this place was the cherry on top of an awesome night.

Food was so good I forgot to take a picture of it! Came here for their Trivia which was so fun, but their food was such a nice surprise! I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was delicious! plenty of seating, good vibes, and amazing service!

After living near Taproom for 4 years, I finally got to try it out during happy hour. My first impressions were great. Every table had pumpkins and there was cute fall decoration throughout the whole restaurant. It's definitely clean and well kept. All the staff that helped us out were super friendly and attentive. Despite reading good reviews on the M&C, it just missed the mark for me. It was way too onion heavy (both green onion as a topping and white onion in the cheese) so i didn't eat much of it. My friend enjoyed his buffalo cauliflower and I'd look forward to trying the brussel sprouts next time. Be advised parking may be tough as it's located on the main street of North Park. You'd probably be fine on a week day.

This is a fun place for happy hour if you can make it in to order before 6! They offer a pretty good deal on wings and a couple bucks off on drinks. They also have daily special discounts so be sure to check! There is only street parking which can be crowded, so allow time to walk a few blocks. Our server was polite and friendly, though he did require our help getting our bill correct. We ended up having to input our items for him, which I found off putting. The smash burger, wings, and beers were all pretty good, though kind of pricy if not during happy hour for what you're getting. The bartender was very helpful in making beer selections! The restaurant is open and airy and was pleasant for a group dinner.

5/5 Service we came just after Brunch and everyone was so friendly and attentive 5/5 ambiance there is an outside area but it also has an open floor plan so it's nice when it's hot to be outside but also be covered for shade 5/5 beer selection. I live sours and was surprised to see a sour IPA. I am not a fan of IPAd but my friend is and ordered it and also said it was the first time she's seen that option. Overall fun and friendly place and their tie dye merch is also really cute

Ask the Community - TapRoom Beer Co

Does this place have bottomless mimosas on the weekend?

Yes bottomless mimosas and brunch on the weekends 10am-1:30pm!

I am getting married in late September and need to find a place to have a "welcome meetup" the day before. Is this a good place for 20-30 people to come and enjoy?

I think the place could accommodate you if it's not during the peak hours. I suggest making arrangements with the manager ahead of time.

Are you able to accommodate a party of 12? It would be 8 adults and 4 kids. It would be Saturday,…

What day and time would you like to reserve for?

Are there TVs outside to watch the game?

    Yes!

    Are kids allowed?

    Yes

Do you have the ability to change the composition of the burger (add/remove ingredients)?

Yes, we have multiple styles of burgers and you are able to build as you wish.

    Do you offer Happy Hour?

Yes they do. I believe 3-6

    Are your bean burgers vegan?

Hi Chelsea, yes! Our black bean burger patties themselves are vegan. However, you would have to substitute sliced sourdough for the brioche bun and remove the chipotle aioli to make it completely vegan.

Hi, are dogs allowed at your restaurant?

Dogs are absolutely allowed on the patio!

Where's the best place to park when coming here?

There is lots of street parking both going East & West on El Cajon BLVD. Also after 5pm you can park in the Edward Dunn paint lot across the street.

Is there a happy hour here?

Yes! 3pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

I see they advertise as a spot for football games, but last time I went on a Monday night for MNF last year and they wouldn't put the sound on for the game. Has this changed?

Yes! The sound will be on for all Monday and Thursday games.

Are there vegan options? I see an impossible burger but is the bun, cheese, etc vegan optional as well?

They have an amazing black bean burger and they're super accommodating. I'm sure they will make adjustments as needed. I highly recommend going. Beer and food are great.

I am so sad because I can't remember the name of our waitress! She was amazing because she was so ON POINT with everything -- from knowing the details of each menu item, to knowing what "medium+" is for a steak. She was attentive and amazing and shoutout to her! The food and tiny 'tinis were delicious! The steak and fries were such a good deal for $25. I could've eaten two of them, and now that I'm writing this months later, I'm thinking about that meal again. There is also a spot where the live musician plays, which is awesome! Once seated, though, we sat for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I eventually had to flag someone down just to get water. We then waited even longer for our server to take our order. Because service was so slow, I ordered all of our drinks and food at once since I wasn't sure when we'd see our server again. What stood out even more was watching a couple seated next to us receive immediate attention. They were greeted, served water right away, and the woman was offered a purse hook. Meanwhile, we were sitting there with our purses shoved beside us and weren't offered the same courtesy. It may seem like a small detail, but combined with the lack of attention, it made us feel overlooked. The drinks came out quickly, and the chicken satay and mac and cheese were decent. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out food-wise either. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live music. The performers were fantastic and created a great atmosphere that honestly was the only enjoyable part of the evening.

So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! I just didn't like the grass they put on top!lol The eggs were okay. I added cheese but I barely had any compared to my friends. The cantaloupe was a nice sweet treat afterwards. I tried my friend's meal and they were also good which they also enjoyed their meals overall. I also tried a one of the Bloody Mary flights which was the only tequila shot with pork skin on top. I do not like savory and spicy drinks but that particular shot was decent and was hot sauce for the pork skin. Overall, the experience was nice and the food was good especially for the value.

Just to clarify for anyone looking to visit; Breakfast Republic isn't a fully vegan restaurant, but they do have a fair amount of great vegan options clearly marked on the menu.

My mother dragged me here and I wanted to like it, but the experience was honestly uncomfortable…read moreand underwhelming. The atmosphere didn't feel kid-friendly at all--loud, crowded, and not really accommodating if you have children with you. On top of that, the food didn't match the hype. It looked good but the quality just wasn't there, especially for the price. What really stood out to me though was the dynamic in the restaurant. The entire dining area was filled almost exclusively with white customers, while the visible staff roles felt very segmented in a way that didn't sit right. Here's the puzzle: look around the room, look at who is being seen, look at who is serving, look at who is clearing... and then ask yourself why the only person worth looking at wasn't even part of the experience they're trying to sell. Between the atmosphere, the food quality, and that underlying vibe, it's not somewhere I'd go back to.
