This my local McDonald's where I live. This place is nicer area than the one on Rancho Santa Fe and Descanso. They do have Wi-Fi and accept ApplePay at the register. They have designated parking spots for drive-thru if your order takes a little more extra time to fulfill. Tonight I ordered a fish filet, fries and a McFlurry. The fish filet and fries tasted good and crisp. The Oreo McFlurry was a great dessert to finish off with. read more

This specific location needs a training overhaul. I come to this location because its close and convenient however I'm going to have to go elsewhere the time it takes to drive to another location vs waiting for this uninterested staff to display any kind of work ethic is worth it. The drive thru and it look like I'm not the first to comment on it, needs a lot of help. Everytime I pull up there is no greeting or acknowledgment that I'm there, I have to say hello is anyone there and the response I get is.... " uh ya", "hey" and my favorite "what's up"....like their answering a phone call, I mean there is a camera to see cars and all you have to do is say " Hi welcome to McDonald's, how may I help you? Or can I take your order" something along those lines. Then if its not that its the endless wait watching people get the wrong food delivered to them, sitting there waiting 5 to 10 minutes for a drink. I can't tell if there is a manager there, I sit in the drive thru that is left unattended watching employees walking around giving the wrong food to customers and seeing the whole exchange...the food is fine but wow this place could use some training. read more

Better than the average McDonald's but it's still a McDonald's. So the food is acceptable, maybe good, but definitely not great. I've been here plenty of times and it's quick sometimes, but I guess the pace is more moderate than most. It's rarely ever slow for me. They've messed up my order twice in the eight years I've been coming here. So that's okay. I don't eat fast food much anymore but I felt nostalgic for some McDonald's recently and went here. It was far better than other McDonald's out there, at least in terms of service, not food quality. I would give it four stars but, come on, it's McDonald's. read more

Ok I walk in to order and the older lady behind the register can barely speak English, she is staring past me to the table of kids behind me asking me over and over what was that again? Can you repeat that ? Is this for here or go 3x ? Then I use my card to pay insert chip and we stand there as she stares down the kids behind me forgetting to push the ok button on my card like 5 minutes ! This is probably the worst mcdonalds ive ever been too. I sat in line for minutes in silence after being told they would be right back to take my order. They didnt charge me right for the quarter pounder meal i ordered because it was part of a promotion. I then sat several more minutes waiting on my food to be brought to me. Everytime i go to this mcdonalds im waiting for my food no matter what i get. I get it that they get busy, but i never have this experience at other mcdonalds. Do yourself a favor and drive further to another location. This one is aweful. read more

I went in to get breakfast and I understand that's it's always busy, but after placing an order of a deluxe with egg whites they made me pull to the waiting area for 20 minutes, finally I got off the car to check what was going on with my order, I asked why my order was taking such a long time and was told they had ran out of egg whites and were making more. They could have said this when I paid for my order instead, they made me wait for 25 minutes. Not forgetting I was already waiting 15 minutes in line. The french fries were way too salty. Poor customer service, I blame the management not the cashiers. I ordered the fish- fil-a sandwich and got a McDouble cheeseburger. I was in the drive through. Made one meal order and paid. I paid majority with cash and the rest was the card. But the lady on drive thru took my cash but charged it all on my card. I even told her 3 times how much cash and how much on the card. Otherwise you should of gave me my cash back if you did one charge instead of pocketing MY money!! I love mc d. The woman who received and placed my order seemed upset I ordered breakfast food at 0345. Then proceeded to only accept dollars, no credit. Then when I got my food 20 minutes later from an Asian lady, she wouldn't give me a receipt. I love this McDonald's. My favorite before school food ever. But today was not great. Correct me please, but drive thru at a "fast food restaurant" is suppose to be fast. NOT HERE! I waited 17 minutes for a regular meal and a kids meal. Also I think their drive thru team has no customer service or positive personality. Whatever happened to "How may I help you? Or welcome to McDs" Now they just say "Hi" over the speaker. I went last weekend and was charged an extra coffee because I could barely understand the lady taking my order. The order takers are always trying to rush you to hurry up and give them your order. I rarely go to McDonald's, however two of the times I've been here, they have always messed up my order. I recently purchased a McWrap and the entire thing was soaked in liquid and even seeping thru the paper bag. Though the manager was understanding. Moldy stale pastries! I ordered a midnight snack. Pastry box said baked fresh at 9pm. I bight into it. Hard as a rock. I turn on my car light and mold! I promptly turned around and asked for the manager who apologized, refunded me, and then handed fresh pastries! I'm now using my refund to go by charcoal pills so I don't get food poisoning. Had an awful experience getting dinner for our family through the drive-thru. Ordering was extremely difficult and took much longer than it should have. At the first window, we were told back our order and it was correct, however we weren't given a receipt. At the second window, we were missing two of our drinks and two of our fries. We tried to tell them that we had ordered meals which include the fries and drinks, but the employees were not attempting to fix our issue besides trying to re-charge us for the missed items. We parked and went in to try to figure out why we weren't getting many of the items that we ordered, and the manager was putting the blame on us, saying it was the lane we chose to order in and that we should have requested that our order was read out to us (which it was) and that we should have asked for a receipt. What the manager finally attempted to do was offer to charge us for the drinks and only 1 of the missing fries. We were very unhappy with this, as it did not feel like a proper resolution for a problem that was not caused by us. Once home, I called the location and asked if I could get the name of the manager on shift, intending to make a complain, and the person who answered the phone was very rude and snide, saying there were multiple managers on shift at the moment and would not give me any of their names. When i said that i intended to make a complaint and would appreciate having the managers' names, she gave her name and her name only, saying that we could give her name if we wanted to make a complaint. Overall, we had a terrible experience and the manager did not handle it professionally or correctly. Our only regret was not taking all the food back and getting a refund. I do not suggest going to this location and if you risk it, don't be surprised if they mess up your order and try to blame it on you read more

Sitting in the drive through as we speak, it's 10:45pm. It's ridiculously slow. I just spent 20 minutes in the drive through, haven't even made it up to the first window. I now have to make a call to my boss saying I'm going to be back late from lunch, and I won't even have time to eat anything when I get back. I would rather pay more money elsewhere if it meant actually getting to eat on my lunch break and get out of the drive through line in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I've been here over a dozen times because it's close to my work. Staff is always decently nice. I don't expect them to treat me like royalty at McDonalds so I don't mind that they aren't excessively sweet to me. Food can be inconsistent but it's usually fine. The reason I'm giving it a two instead of three is because of the drive thru; especially at night. Don't go at night unless you plan to be there awhile. The last time I went through I probably spent 30 minutes there waiting when there were only two cars in front of me. First car had a large order. okay, understandable. Second car and I were then sitting for twenty minutes. I figured they probably had a large order too, nope, only one bag of food. I then pull up and they don't even know which order I was. I had to repeat it twice and they ended up giving me a small fry even though I ordered a large. This is after asking me to pull around to the front (because a massive line of cars had formed up behind me) where I waited another five minutes for my order. Absolutely ridiculous and it happens every time I go through the late night drive thru. I have a feeling they have two or three people working there and they have to make the food to order which is why it takes so long, but even with all that it seemed excessive.
