So, I love Cava! Been to one in CO and a few here in CA. Can't go wrong with cava. It's a Mediterranean, chipotle. Their chicken is good. I love mixing my salad with lentils. I pretty much get everything in my bowl. I love the garlic sauce. I always recommend getting the pickled onions and olives. Don't forget... don't ever forget the pita chip crunch on top! It's the textures! It makes the bowl! Unfortunately service was awful! I had to remind the girl to put more.:: she was giving me dashes of the food! Then when she gave my bowl to the next guy.. he was barely putting anything and I told him put a little more and he was pretending he didn't hear me. When I asked him questions while at the register he clearly heard me but did not want to answer the other two questions I asked. He did the same to My friends who were next. I don't know.... Service is awful. This place is def saved by their food!

I love this place! It's the chipotle of Mediterranean food (but better). The staff are nice. Quick service and clean environment.

My lamb bowl was so amazing! there is an extra charge for the lamb but well worth it the shredded lamb and the meatballs. So yummy so fresh.

First off let me be clear that the food here is amazing very healthy and fresh and I was completely happy with my lunch. With that being said, I would like to point out that there is a horrible lack of customer service and the people that work in there have no personality and are worse than robots!!! And after spending $22 on a bowl of vegetable vegetables I was more than disgruntled ! I will not be eating in this facility again I might order takeout. Also when me and my girlfriend were ready to leave. We waited at least two minutes to be acknowledged by the young lady next to the register. We were waiting for a bag. There was one open already on the counter and she just nodded to my girlfriend or you can take that. My girlfriend said well we're not together. Can we get another bag and she completely ignored her so I had to walk over and grab a bag off of the top row of the shelf like I work there when I don't to get my bag so I could leave. So incredibly sad, especially for the location the price of the food ridiculous. Customer service needs to come back or just make everything robots.

Wow! Cava is a newer (particularly for the West Coast) restaurant that is spreading (i.e., opening new locations) rapidly. After my family had our first meal there today, I can see why it has such a quickly growing following. The Mediterranean-style, fast(ish), food is such a nice addition. The ingredients, so many for you to customize, are fresh, plentiful, and very delicious. Depending on how you create your meal, this can be a very healthy addition to your diet, without compromising taste. Each of us ordered a "green and grain" bowl with plenty of additions, all of us were completely satisfied and so very full. I would recommend ordering via the Cava application, this will ease the process and have it ready at a predesignated time. I was happy to find out that there is also a new San Marcos location and best for me, a Temecula Cava location that will be opening within the next couple of months. For my family, we will definitely be consistent patrons of Cava. Oh, I wouldn't want to forget another of their impressive "side-type" items, the pitas - these pitas are some of the best I have ever had!

    Greens + Grains Bowl

This is the most inconsistent Cava ever. Every time I go I'm left with the scraps and the scoops are so small. The Cava at One Paseo is way more generous than this one. I've worked in customer service and still do SO I GET IT. But I'm paying money and I'm given attitude The left is from Encinitas... the right is from One Paseo... literally the same order I'm gagged...

The hype is so real! I ordered the grains and greens bowl with chicken & some pita chips on the side for about $15. I was able you make 2 meals out of it. Very fresh ingredients and I felt satisfied without the bloat other fast food places tend to give. Definitely gives chipotle a run for their money. Tables were clean and the staff was pretty helpful with my questions on the ingredients, I'm not too familiar with this type of cuisine.

SERVICE WAS SO AMAZING! The person who helped me was so nice and friendly!! They walked me through all the options and explained what everything was. I also love how Cava is super healthy and tasty:) I am giving this a 4 star because it would have been nice to have the freedom to tip. I wanted to tip, but was told they could not accept tips even though their customer service was exceptional. Would come back for sure

It's been a minute since I've had Cava! I stopped in to get a greens and grains bowl. I got it with the spicy lamb meatballs and all the toppings. I feel like the portions for the bowls I ordered were pretty small. There were a couple times where I asked to have an extra scoop. The staff were nice but seemed uninterested. The food tasted great and I love the cucumber mint lime drink. We might have just visited when they were busy.

Generally I like cava. It tastes good and is a good portion of food. It's not cheap that's for sure--3 bowls for $50. At a recent visit though, I was definitely thrown off by the service and upkeep of the restaurant. There were approx. 8 people working, no line and 1 customer eating when I arrived. We were not acknowledged for nearly 5 minutes. Not the end of the world, just interesting. What I didn't love though was that the shop was a mess. There was stuff on the floors and every station was unclean. It's unappetizing. It was really hard for me not to say something when a meat scooper was used for the vegetables and meat ended up in my vegetarian bowl. If the stations were better cared for this wouldn't have happened. The staff really needs to be careful for those with dietary restrictions & especially those with allergies.

Drink dispensers that haven't been washed or replenished since the Nixon administration.

The first thing that struck me was the poor service. The people making our sandwiches were not paying any degree of attention to what they were doing. I figured it's a wrap though, things mix together anyway and we were very hungry. A lot of room for error and end up with something decent to eat. When we unwrapped our wraps though, it was a disaster. The bread was saturated in sauce and unable to be eaten without cutlery. As I approached the area where cutlery is kept, I noticed an even bigger problem: this place is FILTHY. I went to speak with the manager, and all I was told is that I was wrong. According to her, my sandwich looked delicious and the drink/cutlery area was as clean as any customer should expect. Oh, and my favorite: the drink dispensers aren't crusty and dirty because of lack of cleaning, they're stained from all the natural juices they use. If I don't like that, then a natural place like Cava isn't for me. She was right about that last part. This place definitely wasn't for me. . . Or anybody else that values cleanliness and a wrap that doesn't ooze sauce when you touch it.

    $20 for this?

I think it was happy hour, and it was pretty quiet to start. Edgar the bartender greeted me. I sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mango cooler, which doesn't contain alcohol. I also ordered chips and guacamole. The cooler was super sweet so I probably would order something else next time. The chips and guacamole were really good. The guacamole was super fresh and it had sliced jalapeños in it that you could easily pick out if you don't like spice, but I do like the spice and I enjoyed it a lot.. When I left, quite a few people had come in for happy hour and it was a fun, festive atmosphere. You can sit partially outside which is also nice! I'm so happy CPK is in my neighborhood. They quietly opened in November 2025, but I only just found out recently. I have enjoyed their salads a lot in the past (amongst other things) so I look forward to coming back for lunch or happy hour.

The inside is quite small with a limited number of tables, and their back service area seems to be quite cramped, and in a constant state of confusion and disarray. It's also nearly always quite chilly in the restaurant, to the point of being uncomfortable. We loved the Solana Beach location, but sadly, this is a pale replacement. We have been loyal CPK customers for many years, but not sure loyalty is going to be enough to keep us going back to this location.

There's also really cute to dog oriented, snack, snacks, and outfits. I'll have to check out their wine in more detail. I mean from the grocery store if you head back then you go straight into the farm grounds. There is a 12 or $15 charge for a farm tour but if you have kids, it's perfect cause you get to go see the farm animals, including the owner's horse and they have a cute little train ride. In the back is also a brewery of their craft brews. See them in pictures I've added. I definitely need to go back to check out the craft brewery. -No dogs allowed on the farm portion I went upstairs to have brunch, which is a new addition to the area. Staff was definitely attentive. I recommend making reservations for this so that you get the tables either outside overlooking the farm or the field. We did a walk-in for four people so we could only get a table on the inside. It's definitely a cool place to hang out temperature wise. Food was pretty quick to come out. Portion sizes are moderate to big that we had to take home some stuff. We did have an issue where the chicken was undercooked, but they were able to remedy that very quickly. Definitely get the beet hummus. I only wish they had more crudités accompany it. You can see it only came out in a small little dish. Probably would recommend either sizing down the hummus or going up on the vegetables to make it a little bit more complete. The chicken and pancake was definitely interesting and not what I expected. Pancake is carrot and lemon, but you can't really taste the lemon. It only had sparse carrot in it, but definitely still worth a taste. The chicken was definitely savory and more herby so it kind of overpowered the pancake a bit. Definitely chicken packed. Fries came out pretty soggy, which was a downside. The root vegetable has looked pretty good and it was definitely a sizable portion. The eggs and pasture was a little bit interesting in the sense that day. It was kind of a fried egg surrounded by a pasta sauce and then there's bread ciabatta slices on the plate. It's pretty good not overly salty or overly tart for the sauce. Definitely a good keto/Paleo option if you don't eat the bread. We also had their banana bread, which was really good - it wasn't able to take pictures of it since we demolished it pretty quickly. I highly recommend any bakery items. It's a very family friendly affair as we saw large families with numerous children coming in and you can have a place to let the dogs run in the small field front of the restaurant. I saw a lot of other families is bringing their dogs out onto the patio portion of the restaurant. Overall, the ambience is very family friendly and I would definitely come back here again for a chill morning brunch. Note that they close at 1 PM for brunch! Warning: that there's a limited parking so you need to get there early! They will have a traffic mediator once it's full

It's tough to get a table for a weekend noon. I booked our reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Parking is either near the train tracks across the street or on the curb. We got the egg dish and salad bowl. The yogurt for the eggs was deliciously spiced; dipping in the toasted bread into the gooey poached egg, creamy yogurt, and herbs was delicious! My issue with this dish were the herbs that were too large. Was I expected to stick a big piece of herb on my toast? The dish is saucy with the chili oil so my clothes were dirty with the oil covered herbs. Chop the herbs smaller for practicality! Another dish suffered from the execution. We got the bowl which I thought was going to be a grain bowl. Rather, it was a ridiculously-sized salad--as much leaves as a pack from the grocery store! There were toppings within like slices of avocado, pieces of orange, farro, and nuts. I felt like I was trying to treasure hunt to look for these pieces. The salad was comically oversized. It was dressed fine but suffered from the portion size. You could see this theme with the French toast too where you get 1/3 of a baked bread. I'm honestly confused by this chef who has amazing experience. Why do you construct dishes that are difficult and impractical to eat? Less is more. These dishes need extensive edits. How this place got Bib Gourmand is honestly surprising to me.
