The last FOUR times I have gone to this particular MCD I asked for ranch and ketchup and did not get it. Tonight I told the server that I wanted ranch and ketchup twice and he asked me to pull to the side to wait for food. I waited and got NO condiments and NO straws. I will never recommend this restaurant as every time I go I am disappointed and almost every time they ask me to wait for my order. They are constantly forgetting things or simply not caring and always asking me to wait for my food. Worst service ever and I love McDonald's and most other McDonald's I go to. Honestly majority of all McDonald's are pure trash now, they all lack good attitude, good service, and good hot food. Every time I go to ANY McDonald's including this one, I get COLD fries, COLD food, The only thing they get right is a COLD coke that's about it. I go to this McDonalds at least 5 times a week because it is on my walk home. Only about 4 times have they forgotten to give me an item in my bag, and each time I went back they replaced it, even if there was a whole day's time in between visits when it happened. Depending on the manager you talk to, they will do it happily or begrudgingly, but they'll do it nonetheless. I've never had a problem with the food itself, it's always hot and made quickly. If you get a soda from the machine inside, the syrup to carbonated water ratio is always off, but not enough to flip out over. You can just ask them to fill your cup behind the counter where it's mixed better. read more

Well, this place is okay. But, that's about it. The people work hard and the owners make their cash. But, a few useful tips: even if you are going to eat-in, get your order to go, because they prioritize to go orders over dine-in ones (like all McDonalds). Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! I'm not even talking about Kobe I had an issue last year which I came in to get a breakfast sandwich. The biscuit was so hard I couldn't eat it. So last week I decided to stop by on a Saturday morning at 8 AM again the biscuit was so hard I can hardly eat it. I called to complain they said leave your name and will make it up to you. I usually don't complain at this drive-thru because they're typically fast and I'm in and out in less than 10 minutes. But today, I come in at 11pm ordered 1 Big Mac and a sausage egg McMuffin meal so that comes with the sandwich, hash brown and a drink. Came here last night around 9:30 with my friends and ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, 6 piece McNuggets, a McChicken and a medium fry. Worst location by far. The only reason I come here is because my son plays sports near by but I will be driving to the one by Wal-Mart or just choose a different restaurant. Any time I complain regarding an order that's incorrect or they give me an entirely different order than I got they give really bad attitude they barely think they need to replace the order, you have to give them suggestions on what you want to make it right since they don't know any customer service values. When I came in to pick up my food there was an employee at the pick up station wearing a black shirt, was bald maybe in his late 40s with such a horrible attitude not only to customers but to the employees. He raised his voice at me for no reason and I saw him doing the same thing to the employees. He was so unprofessional and disrespectful. Extremely fast service this morning, like as soon as I had finished ordering they had it out. Last time I was here around 3pm on a weekday, I ordered an 8 piece chicken nugget and an M&M mcflurry, and it took significantly longer. I thought the mcflurry would have been thicker, like a DQ blizzard, but unfortunately it melted very quickly. I tried a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle for the first time. I didn't realize that the bun part consisted of two flapjacks, that are flavored maple syrup. It was really good, but pricier than expected (5$). I probably wouldn't order it again- I would recommend getting a mcmuffin over the mcgriddle, although both are good. I suppose the mcgriddle would be better for people who enjoy sweet and salty In the same meal. However, i could've gone to Starbucks and gotten a croissant breakfast sandwich for that price! Sometimes though, you just crave some really fast cheap junk food. read more

Possibly one of the slowest McDonalds I have been to in a while. You know you're in trouble when even the manager of the place is slow and leaves the counter. I visited at 11:30 AM, not exactly peek rush period yet. My order was taken by a white-shirt (I assume = manager) who took the money and then ran off to his back office without giving me a receipt. After 5 minutes of waiting I got grumpy and found out I was waiting on the slowest cooking fries in the universe. Finally the manager comes sauntering up from the back just as my food is ready. A return visit a week later, sans manager, was not much more successful. The counter help seems more interested in gossiping than waiting on and serving customers. I can't believe I'm actually writing a yelp review on McDonald's, but an employee named Jennifer R. made my experience above and beyond any customer service! While we were were waiting for our food, she talked to us and made me actually not bored in my car for once while waiting in the drive thru. She is so funny, sweet, and for once genuine. Breakfast all day! I seriously love. Because there have been times I have rushed out of my house desperately in need of a sausage breakfast burrito. I have to say though, the service at this place is hit or miss. It is exactly as you expect to McDonalds to be so don't get me wrong but the way that they move you through like cattle is a little bit unnerving. Today was expecially disturbing so I thought I would write a review. The same two ladies that have helped me in my past several Drive thru experiences (did I say I love breakfast sausage burritos?) anyway these same two ladies were at the window. A Hispanic lady that is always smiling and very sweet takes my money. And then an older blonde lady hands you your bag. It goes something like this: I pull up my car to the second window and the lady sticks the bag out of the little window. I say, "Can I have some extra hot sauce please." the little bag goes back in the window. She puts hot sauce in it and then sticks it back out. I say thanks and drive off. Notice she never said one thing? It's kind of comical but at the very least say hi and bye. I did give you $3.24 after all towards you paycheck after all. :) . I hope she has a better day. read more

Conviniently located off the San Marcos Blvd exit off the Westbound Hwy 78. This location has a double drive-thru that gets used during busy hours. First window is for payment, second window is for pick-up. It mostly works okay except for those times when a large vehicle blocks your path towards the first window or when the driver in the second ordering station decides to cut in front of you. None of those issues are McDonald's fault, but perhaps a green/red light system would prevent things like that from happening. Other than that, I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the employees here. Just remember that like you, they have a job to do and sometimes need to be short with you to remain efficient. In conclusion, I will continue coming here for my occasional fast food breakfast fix. read more
