Honestly, fast food is usually better in the morning (because of the adults working) and worse at night (because of the children working). Things just flow different and I understand that. This McDonald's has never missed for me though and even when there was a problem they fixed it and made up for it. Children handle situations differently than adults so my boyfriend has had some run in with younger people who just didn't care. My food is always hot and fresh even when I get it delivered. It could be because I live right behind this location but we all know opening your delivery bag and getting old food or a wrong order is something we just get accustomed to over time. This McDonald's location could definitely use some work. I frequent the drive thru and the employees are consistently rude when taking my order. I had certain expectations going into this restaurant visit, its just another national chain restaurant with a preconceived notion of the service and food expectation that would be received. I'll admit it, I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! I have to give it to the staff working at this location, they were all very nice, order was promptly taken and repeated accurately, both the representative taking payment and providing my meal were both pleasant asking both "How are you today" and "Hope you have a great rest of your day" and this is something you normally don't receive from a typical McDonald's. My meal was accurate, all items prepared correctly and HOT which is another area McD will usually let you down with limp cold fries. I never write reviews, however, I had the best experience at this random McDonald's! My family and I were starting a road trip back home so we stopped to have a quick breakfast inside. This was on 4/30/25. Anyway the gentleman working there, Sean, was the sweetest, most helpful person in that establishment! Terrible! They were not open at the scheduled time. I arrived at 5:42 AM. There was a gentleman walking around inside with a mop bucket but he did not attend to the call/menu box. Lived here for 3 years and there's always something wrong at this McDonald's. Today was probably the worst. Took 5 minutes to take my order, and another 25 just to get me my food. Mind you this was at 3 in the afternoon so it wasn't during lunch rush. Once I finally got my food, it wasn't warm, the fries were definitely old, but they even burned the hell out of burger!!! Pulled in last night for a quick bite to eat after work, and chose the drive through. My husband ordered a double quarter pounder meal, I ordered the delux spicy chicken sandwich and we ordered a couple of burgers for our kids as well. We pull up to the drive through and are given our food, and I go and look to make sure everything is there, which it is not. My husband pulls around and goes into the lobby with the bag and tells the person behind the counter we are missing part of our order. The individual who handled the situation was fairly rude and went back to the back to apparently grab the sandwich telling my husband "this was a courtesy the sandwich is in the bag"...my husband offered to let them check the bag. I checked the bag multiple times and my sandwich wasn't in there, and of course the "courtesy" sandwich wasn't even what I had ordered. Pretty poor customer service, and pretty poor people skills. She didn't tell me until after I was charged they didn't have half the stuff on my order. The food is poor quality, and they never follow instructions (e.g. even if you say no onions they will add them). We went here for a birthday party. I didn't eat here but my son had a kid's meal that was included with the party. It is fast food... nothing to write home about but the playground is really great. The play area is not inside in the AC and there are TVs and interactive games on the walls. The girls doing the party was very friendly and great with the kids. read more

Usually I just go on with my day. Tonight there was an employee named Robin and she was really rude. Poor service. I ordered one of their new burgers on the menu through the drive thru. It takes them 10 minutes to finally take my order. I pull up to the window to receive my food and the girl working was very rude and also asked me to "pull up because my food was holding up the line". I waited 20 minutes for my burger. I went through the drive through at 2 pm ordering breakfast. It was super busy, but the line moved quickly. The cashier confirmed my order, at the next window it only took a few seconds of waiting since I ordered breakfast. I was surprised at how kind and polite they were with the craziness. This McDonald's is one I visit regularly as they are the only establishment on the Southside with a reasonable price on iced tea ($1 for a large) and close to the workplace. (take note B-King, Krystal, Checkers, KFC, etc- you all rip us off on tea) The food I've had has always been good and fresh. During lunch rush they are amazingly efficient. Outside of that, you'd better have a lot of time on your hands. Slow is an understatement. Any time other than lunch rush, the wait time is ridiculous. Even at 11:30 at night with only 2 cars in front of me, I had to leave without my order or I'd be late for work. One block away... Know how they have you pull up if you have a time-consuming order as not to slow down the drive-thru? I had to pull up once to wait for 4 drinks while at least 4 vehicles behind me with multiple orders AND food orders sailed right on through. The slow dropped them one star. The other is getting drink orders wrong. Especially when you get something to take back to work and can't leave to take it back. You're stuck with what they gave you. Plus, they don't get that sugarless drinks aren't just a preference. Sometimes it's a dietary restriction. They've gotten it wrong too many times for me to believe anyone really cares or understands that. Taste or have someone else taste the drink if you require sugarless before you leave the drive through or go inside and pour it yourself. If not for those 2 things it's a great McDonald's. read more
