This location looks like it was recently opened in the Pooler area. Located in a strip mall. Haven't been to a Which Wich in years. It used to be you took the paper bag and Sharpie and wrote out your sub order on it and gave it to them to ring up but now there is a kiosk you put your sandwich order in. Many options for all walks to choose from here. Very clean, and the restaurant was quiet. The employees were very helpful also. They have kiddie menu options. I had the Reuben sub and it was good. The owners are racist. I came in for a sandwich and when I left the restaurant, I went outside to open the packaging and found that they gave me the back end of the tomato. All three tomatoes on the sandwich were the back end f the tomato, something that should have been discarded. I feel like the woman who made my sandwich did this because of the color of my skin thinking I don't deserve anything better. First off I will say I love Witch Wich and have been eating at their restaurants for years. Overall my recent experience was good but it seems like they have drastically cut back on the amount of meat and toppings they put on their sandwiches. What was there was good and to be honest I have cut back so it was fine with me but it is a lot different than a few years ago. But I do say I love the French fries - they are always crispy and not greasy. The only problem this time was they used way too much salt, and I do like them salty so that was unfortunate but we ate them anyway! The service was good and the tables were clean. We stopped here for lunch and had a great experience! When we walked in, we were greeted and there were people inside eating. We went to the station where you pick what kind of sandwich you would like. They have labels on a paper bag where you pick exactly what kind of sandwich you would like along with the toppings. It is very easy because they provide red sharpies and they have everything you need. When we brought our bags to the cashier, she was very friendly. She asked if we wanted any drinks or fries as a side and we declined. She told us that our sandwiches will be out soon. We walked to a table to wait and we saw a wall that was dedicated to drawings other people have made on their sandwich bags and it was interesting! They have tables inside and outside. Which Wich is open! I'm excited that my favorite sandwich shop is now open in Pooler. It's located in the new strip in front of the Tanger Outlet, just past Applebee's. How do you which wich? Grab a bag & a sharpie, mark on the bag all things to make your sandwich perfect for you - size, bread and all the toppings you want! The list of toppings is a million times more than your regular sandwich places. They also have fries, chips, milk shakes, vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free options. Ask about the "secret menu" of customer favorites that aren't on the menu. My favorite is the meatball grinder and I was excited to see it on the manager's secret menu. While this shop is small, it has comfortable seating, great soda/tea selection and is bright & cheerful. We have visited this location numerous times now. The staff members are really nice and friendly. On Wednesdays they offer their signature sandwich for $5 making it "Wicked Wednesdays". It is a sandwich that offers 5 meats and 3 cheeses. Pretty good bang for your buck! Our kids love that there is a fries option as a side vs. just chips like other sub places. Ordering here for the first time was a little different though. The staff will walk you through the process. You will have to look to the right as you walk in under the menu. I like their concept of handing them a slip filled out exactly how you want which sandwich, you pay, and your sandwich is made pretty quickly. I'm a little confused by the set up. The lady offering to explain how everything works was very nice and informative but when you sit down and actually look at the wall of bags and slips to write your order on it doesn't really make sense? Why are some sandwich selections bags and others slips? Oh well! Anyway, they have a good amount of options and it's cool they offer fries and not just chips- but overall I wasn't very impressed. The "cheeseburger" sandwich was chopped Philly type meat and the cheese wasn't even melted- sandwich wasn't hot and it wasn't great nor the worst thing ever. Ignore the current overall rating and try for yourself. My first sandwich was the Ultimate BLT and it was better than expected. A friend recommended the Banh Mi, so I stopped again yesterday to pick one up. I meant to take a picture, but the looks of it alone erased that thought. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. It's only the second Banh Mi I've ever had, but it's definitely my favorite so far. Unfortunately, I'm having to downgrade my review of Which Which. This is the second time in a row that I've been in here and ordered the Banh Mi where I couldn't finish eating it because it was terrible. Today, though, was the worst that I've seen it. This visit started with a very inattentive woman taking my order...which was written on the cards that you order from. I had to tell her three times that I wanted a drink, and I still wasn't charged for it. So when I got my sandwich, I could literally feel alone sloshing through the foil. When I opened it, the entire sandwich was covered in sauce. The bottom bun was virtually nothing because it soaked up so much juice from the pork and sauce. On top of that, the pork was essentially mush. To be quite honest, it was disgusting and I ended up throwing it away after a few bites. Prior to tossing it out, I did bring it to the attention of the employees and was told that that's how they all are. Right! I'll tell you this, I've been coming here weekly since they opened and I've had about 20+ Banh Mi's and they progressively have gotten worse. Not sure when I'll be back to this location, if ever. Went for a salad. Disappointed for the amount I paid for what I received. Mostly lettuce which was a little browning. The avocado that I paid extra for was literally frozen so not edible. The first time here I was a bit confused on the process, however, the lady at the front assisted and explained the process (choose the sub, mark your options on the brown paper sub bag and give it to the cashier). I really hate to write this review because the concept for these sandwiches and the quality is great. WHEN they get the order right... which, so far, has been never for us. This review is for the Which Wich in Pooler, Georgia. I think today was the last straw for me because when I took my sandwich back to ask for it to be remade, there was never an apology for getting it wrong, or even courteousness. In fact, the young person with locs working on Thursday, October 24th, at 1:32:24, according to my receipt, looked at me and said, "Well, you SHOULD HAVE written on there what you didn't want." In fact, I wrote down everything we wanted in our sandwiches, down to the kind of sauce. For those who may not know how this place works, when you go into the restaurant (?? food joint? cafe?), you have to write down what you want on papers they provide with red sharpies. Today, they were out of the main papers, so you had to write what you wanted on the back of another paper. I did that. I listed all the ingredients I wanted on my sandwich, so there really was no reason to get it wrong. Fast forward to the moment I walked my sandwich back in to ask for it to be remade, also showing the paper where I had written what I wanted on the sandwich. The woman at the register didn't want to take the sandwich from me and they didn't want to make it over. And then, as I stood and waited, they GATHERED IN A HUDDLE TO TALK ABOUT ME - the customer - QUITE OBVIOUSLY WHILE THE PERSON WITH THE LOCS ROLLED HER EYES. I FELT LIKE I HAD WALKED BACK INTO MY HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA AND PAID THEM TO BULLY ME. It felt just like that. This is the third time our order has been messed up. The exact order is a Cheeseburgerwich, no onions, no bacon, cheddar cheese. That's it. That's. It. The worst part is the way I was spoken to and treated, in front of other customers by the person with the locs. It is so easy to just own up to your mistake and apologize. Or make the food over with a smile. It's called good customer service, and here in Pooler, that kind of service is VERY HARD to come by. Unfortunately, they all fall under the same (what my husband and I call) "Pooler-Stink". Restaurants will open, and for the first week or two they will be great. Then they hire a bunch of high school kids who do not care at all about their jobs, don't give them proper customer service training, and then make the customers feel like it's their fault THEY got the order wrong. I am paying for this food - it isn't free. And with that comes, not an expectation of perfect every time, but an expectation that I will be treated well, and that most of the time my food will be made correctly. Unfortunately, even though the sandwiches are good, and I like the owner, we will not be returning to eat here. Sidenote: the owner actually works at another place closer to where I work and he has NEVER gotten my order wrong. He is ALWAYS nice to me when I go and remembers me. THAT is why I return. That is why most people return to places they love - the experience. This is more than the food - it's how you were treated and how you felt when you left.
