This McDonald's is unbelievably slow. Every single time I come through the drive-thru, they tell me to pull forward--even when I'm the only car in line! It completely defeats the purpose of "fast food." I ended up waiting over 15 minutes for a basic order of fries and a drink. Staff doesn't communicate, and it feels like they just push everyone forward so the timer looks better on their screen instead of actually serving food in a timely way. I broke my tooth on one of their burgers a while ago and i had to get surgery on it too. Their service is horrible and it takes them forever to get their food to us. The outside of the store looks fine but it takes forever for them to just give us food. I don't know about the inside but it probably look fine. Being in line for 20 minutes and when we get to the window to receive the food, we are told to pull up and wait. Waiting in the reserved over 15 minutes. If it was not for the fact we paid already, I would have left. . I walked into the store to see what was going on. The manager, not wearing a name tag said they were short staffed. It took them from 3.50 to 4.30 to get our order of one hamburger meal, chicken mcnuggets. The lady in the inside had been waiting 15 minutes for a cup of coffee!!!! I purchased dinner from there to go, and got home with a Big Mac with no meat. I tried to call the location, but got no answer so I went to the website requesting a refund or replacement, but instead got an email from the district supervisor who sent me a personal, apology letter along with 2, not 1, but 2 cards to receive 2 whole meals to replace that 1 hamburger. In addition to that the Mgr offered to upsize the meals and threw in free pies. Now that is how you turn a negative experience into a positive one and get repeat customers. I only come here because its convenient. I will start driving out of my way just to get better service or food. I ordered through mobile pickup a Mcdouble, Mchicken, Hamburger no pickles, and a large fry. All the buns were half soft and half hard for one. The Mcdouble was missing its patties. And the fries were on the cold side. Not to mention I got there and the wait was over 15 minutes for my food. I called when I got home to let them know about my order and the woman was so rude. Then she told me she needed to see my burger to fix it and could only replace the patty once I was able to come up. Which the soonest would be Friday and my son was so hungry he already ate the patties ( mcdouble). I just told her have a nice day. I wouldn't be back and to pay more attention. read more

I only go here because it's convenient. There are 2 or 3 consistently good and competent employees; the rest are abysmal and inept. They've gotten *a little bit* better at getting orders right. A while back it was a guarantee that your order was going to be wrong. Now, there's a 60-75% chance it will be wrong. Progress. McDonalds corporate employee trainers would do well to job shadow Chick fil a. You get better food in a fraction of the time with no errors; they're a well-oiled machine. McDonalds is...well McDonalds isn't. Also, they are supposed to be open until 12am. I recently arrived in the drive thru at 11:35pm -- almost half an hour before closing -- only to have an employee walk by towards his car and say "We're closed." I responded that their hours say they're open until 12am (another 25 minutes). He simply responded again, "We're closed." Maybe they should update their hours to reflect that their closing time varies depending on the night shifts mood and to simply hope for the best when your pull in the parking lot. As I said, there are a few really good people employed there. But I'm afraid they are the exception rather than the rule. Update 12/14/19 Ordered a quarter pounder with no cheese and mustard and ketchup only. Got home and there was no beef in the "burger." And there was still cheese in the buns. But hey, they got the mustard and ketchup part right. These people don't deserve minimum wage. They deserve much less. read more

The McRib is back! So the wife and I bought 4 of them last night. HORRIBLE! Not like they used to be. Last year the patties were dipped in barbeque sauce and there were four slices of pickles and a dozen or more slivers of onions. This year the sandwich is DRY with only a little barbeque sauce on one side of the meat. Only 2 pickle slices and 6 slivers of onion. Not a good value at $4.09 per sandwich. It cost us $17.80 for 4 sandwiches. By comparison, we could have gotten a 9 piece fried chicken meal at Southern Classic with a pint of cole slaw and four rolls for only $16.12! We won't be buying any more McRibs...especially since our complaint to corporate headquarters fell on deaf ears. According to corporate, the 2/6 pickle/onion was consistent with their "recipe" for the sandwich. We could have gotten the same sandwich out of a frozen sandwich display at the gas station across the street for only $2.50 each. read more

I have found the fries to usually be fresh, unlike other locations. The one failing of this, and other McDonald's, is the old or leftover hamburger patties. It is almost impossible to get a fresh burger. The breakfasts are good, with hot, soft biscuits. read more

Picked up my wife from work one afternoon last week. On our way home...a strong cold front passed overhead and brought torrential rain and high wind. We were going to stop at this McDonalds for supper...but with the weather in mind...we opted to go through the drive-through. We were told at the order station that orders were not being taken at the drive-through and that we would have to come inside to place an order. Now bear in mind that this inclement weather system came in from the NORTH...and both the pay window and the pickup window are on the SOUTH side of the building. So opening the windows was not an issue as they were protected from the storm...being that they were on the opposite side of the building being pounded. The girl on the speaker was very brusque and brief. Simply said "We are not taking orders for drive-through. You will need to come inside to order." Obviously...we were not about to get out of our car for the sake of a couple happy meals. So we drove off. But this is just the sort of lackluster customer service you can expect at this location. And lets talk about price gouging for a moment! Last weekend I went through the drivein on my way to work and got a sausage biscuit and small orange juice...$216 with tax included. This weekend...same order was $2.94!!! When I asked why...I was told the orange juice has doubled in price due to crop damage to the orange groves in florida from hurricane Irma. WHAT A CROCK!!! It would take a MONTH for the orange crop to be inspected to ascertain whether or not there would be a shortage or not in supply. But McDonals took it upon themselves to jack the prices up DOUBLE on OJ on the very day that Irma hit florida. These are shiesters of the highest order. Avoid this location if at all possible. Also avoid the one at the intersection of North Market and Hearne. Santa could bring you a burger faster than they can...and its a miracle if they get your order right. read more
