The burgers are nicely grilled with a good char on the edges. The fish sandwich was only OK. My wife really likes the chicken sandwich. The fries are good but I love the tater tots more. The staff are friendly and they always seem like they are glad to see me. Plenty of seating available. It gets a little loud when they are busy but not so loud you can't hear when they call your number to let you know your food is ready. Never a long wait for food. The parking lot is small and gets blocked in when the drive-thru line gets long. Minor inconveniences really. The food is so good the other stuff doesn't detract.

We are told no spicy chicken, pull forward. After 10 minutes, I went inside to and added a spicy chicken sandwich and asked about the order. They had not started frying spicy chicken. This is odd, since there were 3 playing on their phones, doing zero work. It's likely on security camera footage. The one at the window looked up when I asked and yelled "I need a 16 piece spicy". They hadn't even started our order. The middle menu screen was broken and kept flashing the lined, garbled items. The appearance is equally unimportant. I'd be surprised if Popeyes corporate doesn't shut them down for failure to maintain location. There were no other customers in the restaurant and one car also in the pulled up position, presumably waiting on their order. After another 10 minutes in the parking lot, my wife went in. Still no spicy chicken. They told her they did not have the spicy ready but they were putting some in. After church dinner in the South, especially Louisiana, means anyone who does fried chicken should be ready to serve by 11:10 am. We left at 11:56 with no spicy chicken. The most time spent at a Popeyes drive through is 46 minutes (today). Also, it's the first time we did not finish our order but threw the majority of a 16 piece away as it is barely edible. Discourteous to customers, run down facility, no spicy chicken, bad classic chicken is why I watched others walk in and leave with nothing. Unfortunately, we paid so we had to stay. For management/franchise owner: No you don't get another chance again with me. You've run out.

She then brought the order out an told me it was not on the screen so that is why it did not come out. Checking the order I was missing a cup of soup. Should be an easy fix I would think but 10 minutes later the soup finally comes out. The associate then tells me that they are training someone in the back so they are having trouble with orders. This should have come from the manager not the associate being I had been there over 20 minutes waiting for my order. Called the store and spoke to the manager and explained my concern that training is not being conducted correctly in the back and the trainer needs to be talked to. They offered to fix it if I came back in and they could do the order again. I am traveling so I am tired. Could have taken my phone number and done something that way to make it better.
