In late September, on a Monday, I spent some time in St. Louis Park after working remotely from my hotel room. It was great to unwind by getting some shopping done and downing a smoothie bowl. On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings won their game against the Green Bay Packers. When the Vikings score at least two touchdowns and your order is at least $2, you can get a free Big Mac at McDonald's. Yay! I did a search and found this McDonald's. It was a four-minute drive away. I ordered a large Diet Coke to hit the $2 purchase mark and specified that I wanted the free Big Mac. Done! I drove over to this restaurant. It has a drive-thru. It was pretty busy at around 7 pm. Luckily, the lineup moved fairly quickly and I wasn't in a rush. I got a cheerful woman on the other end of the speaker. I rattled off my order code. She found it, confirmed that it was for me, and said that I could drive up to the window. Once I was at the window, I got my food and drink. I thanked her and casually made my way back to the hotel. I like that this eatery is in a residential area. It's nice and pretty with all the trees. I drank my Diet Coke as I took my time driving back. It tasted crisp and cold. It was delightful. When I got back to my room, I had the Big Mac. I don't normally order one these days because it used to be my go-to for years. It was nice devouring one for free. It was yummy and so satisfying! I had a decent experience here. At least the heat worked when I entered. This week I finished a phone call with my brother before walking into your Restaurant. I was greated only by Kiosks waiting to take my order. 50 years ago we would place our orders with people, who for the most part enjoyed their jobs. The kiosk looked like it didn't care one way or another what I was there for and when I went to put my card in to pay for my order, it dropped the order to take a new one. I looked at the single open register, unattended and noticed all the employees were together in the Food preparation area. Do you still offer Gift Cards? Where on your Kiosk does it take them? If I drop food or drink, does anyone clean this up? When is the last day of your business? You Know, the Kiosk doesn't care if you go out of business, but employees who want their job do. read more

Was there evening of June 4th. Usually use drive through but decided to eat inside. Absolutely filthy you literally stuck to the floor. Tables dirty and garbage on the floor. Even the women's bathroom ...no soap and if you tried to wash your hands, the faucet sprayed water in your face. So disappointing as that has been there for years . Never again . If that's what you can see I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. read more

We've only come here between 10am and 1 pm so I can't speak for food other time of the day.. But we have now come at least 4 or 5 times in the drive thru and gotten quick friendly service and great food! I give four stars since we have only come a specific time of day and only the drive thru. That and sometimes they dont seem to understand what I'm saying when I order a specific item. But the food, the fries have always been HOT out of the oil, crispy and salted, just delicious. I say this as someone who has had a lot of really terrible mcdonald's fries, these have easily been the best. The burgers again hot and fresh, you can tell when a burger has sat for a bit before it gets to you, or when the toppings are all over the wrapper and it's wet with grease. But these have really been top notch, toppings in place with no greasy icky mess! My husband usually gets the nuggets and they also are always hot and crispy! I normally wouldn't go out of my way to write a review for a fast food restaurant, but I had to as I saw this place only has two stars, and I don't know if it's the time of day in the drive thru or what, but we always get friendly service and really excellent food!!! read more

This place is absolutely perfect if you've got a couple of hours to kill in between ordering your food and getting it prepped, so bring a big book to read while you wait. You'll get the wrong stuff and it will be cold, but I commend this location for its commitment to hiring exclusively blind AND deaf employees. That's the only logical explanation for how oblivious and rude they all are. If you want a faster burger, I recommend buying a cow. 0/10 read more

This is *not* your standard McDonalds. There is a working juke box here. Of course the whole point of McDonalds is that they are sort of the same. I only visit McD's with playplaces bc otherwise, what is the point? Rock and Roll decorations + a beach theme playplace! Huh. Works for me. Really good service here, and a clean (although small) play place = post preschool fun! Most of the crowd here is pleasant. The bathroom in the playplace gets a thumbs up. Bonus for the little ones: you might get to see a train roll past. The parking lot is next to some tracks. read more

First off me and my wife have only been at this location between 10:30 am to around noon. We have also only gone through the drive through as well. But with all those factors accounted for we have had nothing but great service and food from this McDonalds. This is the closest McDonald's location from my wife's and mine work and we come here every now and then on our lunch breaks. Everytime we come here we are greeted by a nice staff from the intercom and they take our orders swiftly. We have only had one time where they got our order wrong but every other time we haven't had a problem. It also helps that their signs and intercom system look fairly new so it helps with the process. After that the drive up windows are nice and the workers have always been pleasant to us. They seem happy to be working and happy to give us our food and send us on our way. We even know some of the employees now and it makes driving up that much more easy. As for the food, we have always gotten hot and fresh food from this location. The fries are always hot to the touch and crispy, the burgers are hot and feel right off the grill, and the chicken nuggets are warm and crispy as well. We haven't gotten bad McDonald's here yet and we will still continue to go here on our lunch breaks! read more

This is THE WORST McDonald's. Tonight I had a drive thru order and SPECIFICALLY ASKED if the fries were fresh. TWO voices on the drive thru speaker assured me that the fries were fresh. THEY WERE COLD AND UNDERCOOKED. Here's the thing. Once in a while I treat myself to McDonald's. I expect the food to be fresh and hot. ALL OF THE FOOD I ORDERED WAS SUB-PAR!!!!! If I could leave a zero I would. Went to this location recently and the costumer service was absolutely horrible. First off, the woman who handed us our food, gave us all of our items at once which was hard to grab. She dropped the bag of food onto the cold wet ground outside and blamed it on us. She said "you dropped that" and shut the drive through window and just stared. My friend proceeded to try and grab the food and she couldn't reach it, even if she had the bag would've been soaked. She knocked on the window and politely told the woman she couldn't reach it and she stormed off in silence and aggressively gave us a new bag of food. The people were not only rude to us but they made us wait an unreasonable amount of time just to make our flurries. Having been a Chick-fil-A worker I know everything about customer service and now I really understand why it is so important. These workers were rude. My kids have grown up with this McDs as it is the closest to our house with a play area. It also has a RedBox and the jukebox is nice.

Was unaware they have more than 1 size ice cream cone. I ordered 3 cones for my growing boys. When I got up to the drive up window, the cones were so small and so I asked for larger ones. The manager said they have 2 sizes. So she refunded me for the cones and recharged me for the larger cones. She threw the 3 small cones in the trash. So wasteful. Plus she had a could care less attitude. We won't be back. read more

I have visited this location every once in awhile. I ordered food through driveup window 3/19/19 for lunch. Friendly workers at both windows. Sat in car for a conference call and ate my lunch. Medium fry was in a small size container, but I think they overfilled, so was fine. Went in after meeting to throw away the bag and refill soda before leaving. Manager said loudly, "no refills from outside." I offered my glass back, he didn't take it. Thought that was a strange rule and handled poorly. Won't be going back to this location. read more

I don't mind waiting. However if you can see I'm standing there 4 a while. Have the common courtesy to tell me you'll be with me in a minute. I love the fact that they kept looking at me in the eye. But never acknowledging my existence, except of course when I asked if the registry was open, and then they acted like I should have never even spoke to them. of course I'm writing a review about people that work at McDonald's, so there is that. Not much a Mickey D's fan, but we live in walking distance and come by now and then. The interior 50s décor is unusually nice for a McDonald's, as is the beach theme play area. Unfortunately, I'm guessing this place has messed up our orders about 70% of the time. I'm not kidding. If you order anything other than the absolute most standard thing, like a Big Mac meal, there's a good chance it will be wrong. I'm totally willing to give fast food workers some slack, but getting orders right most of the time isn't too much to ask, even at McDonald's. read more

Terrible McDonalds location. They hire high school kids with no work ethic. They consistently get orders wrong and prepare the food incorrectly. Have a complaint? They don't care, whatever problem you have will be there for your next visit. I received a watered-down drink once, went into the restaurant to get a fresh refill and the manager ran up to me and treated me like a thief that was stealing pop, despite offering to present my receipt. As a regular customer, I'm completely done with the terrible service and the food that doesn't meet McDonalds standards. I will never again visit this McDonalds and I advise everyone else to do the same. read more

When I went through the drive through, I ordered a simple 3 McDoubles and the woman asked me if I wanted a meal???! McDoubles aren't meals, they just come as sandwiches and they come off the dollar menu!!! They aren't a meal you ding bat!!! And when I pick up my food at the drive through window, they never have fries or pies ready and then they have you park your car and wait. Then they forget you... This McDonald's is so stupid!!!! My sister ordered a sandwich and a yogurt parfait. They told her they had to make the parfait so we waited it took them 20 minutes. Once they gave us the yogurt we left. In the car we realized that they barely put any yogurt in there. Bad service and bad food! read more

FOOD POISONING! Been going to this location for over a year now for my lunch break since it is only blocks away from where I work. Almost always get the Big Mac meal. Sometimes I try other things. I have had the Bacon ClubHouse a couple of times in the last year, but on Sat 12-5-15 I ate the BaconClub house burger(it tasted fine and quite good) but 4 hrs later I was hit with severe food poisoning symptoms. Even passed out a few times....still experiencing mild to moderate symptoms after 24hrs. Followup: Cleared up after 48hrs. I did send an message through their website to report the incident. A manager emailed me and requested a call. I called him and discussed more details. No one else had reported any issues that day, but they were thankful I had reported it to them....just in case. read more

I have been here previously and my luck has been good. But last night I went through the drive through and ordered a grilled chicken salad and a diet coke. My big mistake was not testing the diet coke or looking at the salad. To my defense there was a guy beeping for me to go behind me, next time I will not until I taste my soda. I am beyond disappointed in my experience at my local McDonalds yesterday. My family ordered food from the kiosk. We took a number and sat down and wait for our food as we were instructed. It was a busy time of day so I was expecting to wait. 20 minutes passes and I do not see a single person leave from behind the counter with food. My husband goes up to see what is going on. No one can tell us where our food is. 10 minutes (30 minutes of waiting) later my husband asks again and the manager says "We called your number and walked around the lobby and couldn't find you. Someone else took your food" He then offers us a random bag of food that we did not order. No one walked around. It was a blatant lie. The manager refuses to do anything for us. Tells us he can refund us but cannot give us anything for our trouble. I'm not looking for a handout, I am looking for someone to take responsibility for our experience. The manager lied to us and made us seem like we were the ones in the wrong. It was the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food restaurant.
