Lunchtime and perhaps a little expensive for lunch. $18 for burger and fries and a drink. Fortunately, my friend had a BOGO coupon and that helped quite a lot. I chose the "Burger of the Month" which they called the "Big Kahuna" and came with swiss cheese and grilled pineapple and a slice of SPAM. Because why not? It was quite tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. The fries are excellent. Great to sit at the stools facing the kitchen and see the cooking in progress. Very clean and efficient. Other than the cost, this was a great meal. They are very customizable, including a veggie burger option. Would consider it a step up over Five Guys. Quite expensive though, looking at almost twenty dollars for lunch with downtown tax. Use their occasional BOGO deal if you can. Unfortunately they overcharge. I got a mysterious extra separate $4.00 on my order from the app using a BOGO deal (see image).

Oh my gosh, these burgers literally melt in your mouth! They're nice and airy and just soft. I had the Cajun burger and I didn't realize it came with guac, so I didn't need to sauce it up anymore. They offer you Sriracha Mayo and I think garlic Mayo. Both are pretty good, not overbearing or strong at all. I will say though, the burger meat itself isn't special in that it didn't have a unique flavor, it was pretty dull and relied on the toppings, which is fine, but still I personally like the patty to have flavor as well. The fries were pretty good and they didn't skip on the seasoning, actually was a little heavy handed. Random side note, the sweet tea at the foundation is really sweet so I watered it down, but it wasn't terrible. Not the best, but also not terrible. The cashier was really helpful. It was our first time here so he offered a "tour of the menu" and he was really chill, so shoutout, sorry I didn't check what your name was, but you were really cool and helpful! We spent around $40 on this meal, got 2 burgers, 2 specialty fries, and 2 fountain drinks. A bit pricey, but that's how much you'd spend on the ingredients anyway. #Inflation

This place does really good work. The workers are all friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the food. Checking in on how you are doing while eating and really taking pride in their work. Keeping the place clean and nice to eat at.

Stopped for take out here today. Even though dine in has reopened in the state, this location is not offering that at the moment. They said they are still waiting to reopen sit down. Had the veggie burger and fries. Both were as good as last time I had it before the pandemic. The fries stayed somewhat crispy even after we brought our food home. They looks quite busy with take out orders. We'll be back!

A friend of mine ate at my burger five years ago close the University of Minnesota and he bragged about it. I wanted to eat here for years but it never happened the last weekend. I came here at 9 PM and I was surprised that they have the impossible burger and my friend I'll order the regular burger double cheese and we both had fries Regular fries and sweet potato fries. They were not salty and we found that the fries were just fried in a fresh oil like you would do in your own home. I wasn't hungry but I couldn't stop eating. The place was clean inside and they have a sitting in the back that looked really cool with happy colors and they have a large parking in the back which I didn't see initially. Service was good and someone who looked like a manager came out and took our empty dishes and checked on us and the access always what we need. They seem to care about their customers. Plenty of takeout orders.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.

You get west coast mid century modern that feels cozy and hip. The band played from 3-5 which I admit I originally thought was weird. But quickly realized why. This place was created for three reasons: good food, vibes, and family fun. You look around the room and EVERYONE is having a great time. Someone's Grandpa and grandma are having a blast on the Dance floor, kids are laughing, and everyone eating and truly having a wonderful time. The food was SO SO SO good. My husband got the pastrami ribs and I wish I had taken a photo because HOT DAYUM they were fire. And the coolest part about this place is they don't accept tip. Instead there is a surcharge so all employees can have a livable wage and that's so appreciated and you can tell by the service. Everyone we encountered had a genuine smile on their face. For the owners- my husband and I weren't sure if we wanted children and have been going back and forth about it for so long... but being in a safe family environment where fun and good vibes and inclusivity is possible- it hit us like a ton of bricks. Thanks Animales. We will be sure to bring our family here for the years to come

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26.
