As others have said, this location is the worst for service and speed. I've never been to another McDonald's and had this bad an experience. Went back several times hoping the newer location would work the kinks out, but nope. Still really bad. I give up. read more

If I could only give this place negative rating stars I would. Every time that I come back I hope that there would've been an improvement on their service. It takes them about 5-10 minutes to complete a simple order. The staff are clueless to the term customer service. The last visit I found a hair in my fries and walked up to the person on the register and all she said was "ew" as she looked at me and turned away...found a "manager" and all she said was "what do you want?" No apology whatsoever. I honestly can't believe that this place is still open. If you want McDonald then I suggest driving into SP to the location on hwy 19. read more

Horrendous. After waiting over 10 minutes for an order that cost less than $15. I went in to find out about the wait. Am told by a young staff member the chicken strips were just dropped into the fryer a minute earlier.. Still waiting for order, I finally just asked for money back. Manager was obnoxious, (now at 15 minutes) doesn't apologize but instead makes comments and excuses about the delay in the order, essentially blowing it off. Sat in hospital for 8 hours, and my wife and I just wanted some food. Workers were too busy either dancing around (literally dancing to the music while we waited at the window to pay for our order) or sitting on their cell phones, to get an the order completed. The manager was an absolute mess who cared more about not being called out for terrible service in front of his high school staff than take care of the situation. After approximately four minutes at the till he was finally able to refund the order. While leaving the manager had to make a remark to my back. The McDonald's across from Woodmans in Sun Prairie will never see our business again. read more

It was a glorious day as I rode into my favorite fast food restaurant, McDonald's of course. I gracefully opened the door and heard that satisfying jingle of the door that I love so much. As I walk up to the register about to order my go to meal, I see the cashier starring at me immediately. "Excuse me" I gasp, still holding his gaze. Before I even get the chance to spit out my next sentence, the cashier starts chewing, still holding his wicked stare. As I look down, I see that this man is holding a bag of "Kraft sharp cheddar shredded cheese". Before I can even react to the horrors that I am witnessing, the man starts quickly shoveling fist fulls of the shredded cheese into his mouth. Horrified, but still holding his gaze, I let out a sharp gasp. After coming to terms with what I have just seen, I briskly move out to my car and got in my vehicle. I opt to go through the drive through for my favorite meal this time. To this day, I still have nightmares about the event, and have no idea as to how long it will haunt me. Honestly the worst McDonald's I've ever seen, if I could give it 0 stars it would, Ive never seen such careless and incompetent employees, honest to god they could not figure out the difference between orange juice and Fanta soda dealing with that room 10 min. The food we got was completely wrong the drinks weren't even right. I don't expect high quality and I understand mistakes happen but they shouldn't happen every single time you got there. They need to figure their crap out! read more

We stopped at this McDonalds for the first time. What a disappointment. Besides being incredibly slow ok, the order wasn't correct. Fries were way under cooked. It seemed to us that this location is being run by kids and it's not working. We won't be back anytime soon. We felt bad for the dad with the two cute little boys that had to eat their lunch in shifts due to the slow service. read more

Terrible. One star is too many. Waited after going through the drive-thru for more than 10 minutes. They shorted us an OJ so I had to ask for that. Finally had to go in to get my food and find several workers standing around. They then make up the order. Then I found they missed one of the McMuffins. They did not apologize. read more

This place sucks. Every time I've gone here there's something wrong (something using from my meal, didn't get the right meal, etc.) the people that work here are so rude and unprofessional. And they're slow as balls. And my food tastes like its been sitting all day. The one on Main Street is way better. read more

I was getting my breakfast, and I was in the drive thru I gave the cashier my money then I pulled up to Line 2 that says pick up. As I realized I was not suppose to move up to line 2 I backed my car back to the middle pick up window and heard the manager say "where is she going, give her a breathalyzer. If you are going to talk about customers make sure that they are not ear length away! I will never go there again and I was stopping there every day for breakfast & coffee. read more

Waited almost 30 minutes to get my food through drive-through. The cashier wasn't paying attention to the window because he was organizing his money. I didn't get a receipt or asked if I wanted one. I got to the pick up window and the food wasn't ready to go there. I got my sandwich and fries, then my drink. When went to reach for my fries on my way back to work, they were cold and old. This is the slowest and worst serviced McDonald's I have been to. I have only been to one other location that almost that slow outside of the Madison/Sun Prairie area. If I would have received a receipt, I would have called right away instead of waiting to get to work and have to look up the number on my break. read more

I'd love to give a "0" rating but that was not an option. This is by far the slowest McDonald's I've ever gone to. We chose this restaurant because we were on a very tight timeline and it was close to the interstate. Plus you can usually expect quick service and consistent food quality at a McDonald's. We spent 20 minutes in the drive through lane. There were several other cars in the drive through lanes but there was no explanation for the long wait. The girl at the payment window couldn't repeat our order and we were not provided with a receipt so we couldn't let the restaurant know about our experience. The person in front of us waited 20 minutes for a shamrock shake. To top it off, the lid on one of our drinks wasn't secure so the driver had soda spill on the clothes he was wearing to the event we were going to. There were plenty of people working at the restaurant so I'm not sure why it took so long. There's a LOT of room for improvement. If I lived in the area, I'd be sure to get in touch with the franchise owner to make them aware of the poor service before corporate pulls their restaurant. Sorry for the long rant but someone may be reading this and choose to go somewhere else. Bottom line: Do NOT go to this restaurant if you are in a hurry. read more

We live nearby and have been to this McDonalds quite a few times. I would say that 90% of the time something is wrong with the order. I was recently in there and ordered a quarter pounder with no pickles and no onions. You would think that this would be an easy order to make, BUT NOOOOOOOO! When I got home it had pickles and onions with no ketchup or mustard! As I was waiting for my food, there was a woman who came in because they had forgotten her big mac when she just went through the drive thru. It was not a busy night, it was about 7pm and I was the only one inside at the counter and there were maybe 3 cars in the drive thru. When I got home and realized their mistake, I called and asked to speak with a manager. Since I was inside, I did see who was working and the manager on duty was a middle aged Latino man. The person who answered the phone sounded like a teenaged girl. When I asked to speak with the manager, she said it was her and would not give the phone to the man. This place is an absolute joke!!! It's actually very funny to me that these are the same people who think they should be paid $15 an hour. read more
