Ive been going to McDonald's for breakfast (coffee & an apple pie mainly) everyday for over 20 years right before going to work, in whatever area I've been in. For the past 4 years this Tamarac location has been the one i go to (just a couple blocks from where i reside). I know it's McDonald's. What can you expect from McDonald's? I get it, dont judge. I know what im paying for, im paying for a coffee without coffee grounds. Im paying for quick professional service, you know, kind of like chik-fil-a... i get it, its not chik-fil-a. But still I shouldnt have to pay $3.50 for a coffee i cant drink. I dumped it. It was not drinkable Also this weird place has been shutting its doors when the high schoolers get out. Not allowing them to go inside to purchase food. It gets surrounded by BSO/Tamarac police dept, 4-6 marked and unmarked vehicles, along with the heavy presence at the publix and the 2 that cover the outside perimeter. Its crazy. I dont have social media, the manager lady there is a weird nut. She was nice before, then she started selling candles, and wanted me to follow her on the gram, but i dont have it, so the next day she was unprofessional and nasty. crazy. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your McDonald's location in Tamarac, FL on the corner next to the bank on August 03, 2024 at approximately 12:05 PM. After placing my order at the drive-thru, I was instructed to proceed to the payment window. When I arrived, there were two windows: one with no attendant and one with an employee at window 2. The employee at window 2 instructed me to go back to the unattended window to make my payment. I pointed out that no one was present at the other window and that he was available to assist me. Despite my concern, the employee insisted that I return to the unattended window, gesturing for me to move my vehicle back. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and assumed that I could safely reverse my vehicle without disrupting other customers. Instead of addressing the situation or assisting me directly, the employee walked away after repeatedly telling me to go back to the other window. This incident reflects poorly on the customer service standards at your location. The employee's refusal to assist and his dismissive attitude were unprofessional and frustrating. Such behavior is a significant turnoff for customers and can contribute to low sales and a drop in patronage compared to competitors. Providing this type of service is not helpful and discourages customers from returning. I hope you can address this matter to prevent similar situations in the future. We went there tonight before my son's game and inside and the drive thru were a mess. The manager and two employees were trying, but others were fighting in the back and not listening to the manager. Cooks have no sense of urgency no matter what time of the day it is. Slow slow SLOW! In the morning students are permitted to sit there for any amount of time, taking up much if the seating and 80% of them don't even order anything. I couldn't find a nice quiet place to sit.Most are loud and rude, saw one kid jumping on a car.. Managers just seem to throw up their arms like " oh well, what can we do"? What the hell ever happened to " no loitering"?! This freestanding McDonald's has had its challenges through the years. My family and I have been patrons for over fifteen years and though they have often missed the mark, great efforts are underway to improve in every facet of management; including food preparation, store cleanliness and customer service. The location is prime, bordering both Tamarac and Coral Springs; catty corner from Taravella High School. Yet this becomes a double-edged sword, when the students cross over and hang out after school. Personally, I have no complains, as there has never been a time when our order wasn't hot, fresh or it was incomplete, but it does get very busy weekday afternoons. And if no one has ever told you: the secret to hot freshly made french fries is to order them without salt! You can always sprinkle it on yourself. I would have given them a perfect score, but the renovation of the kids playground equipment and outdoor seating area is long overdue. Besides that, yes--I'm a fan! McDonald's franchise should be ashamed to have this disaster of a place use their name..first off the service is SUPER SLOW, it doesn't matter what time in the day you go,expect to be in line for at least 20 minutes, and usually once they take your order they don't have what you want. they usually have NO COKE, SPRITE or any other sodas, and they will put a sign in the drive thru letting you know just that! They were out of soda for two days? If not they will give you flat soda and when you complaint they tell you they have no CO2, instead of letting you know before when you order the soda, they just give you flat soda as they could careless.. also one of The managers(Dayami) will scream at the customers she did it to me and I called corporate, turns out they have had complaints about her however nothing is being done! and even on a previous Google review someone else complained about her, also they 9 times out of 10 they will get something in your order wrong, by the way they are supposed to stay open until 1am, however they will turn off the lights at the drive thru at 11pm. Also sometimes one of the girls that takes the order is busy on her phone while taking the orders, this McDonald's is a DISASTER!! I live close to this McDonald's but at this point I have no choice than to drive a few miles away to Wendy's just avoid going to this McDonald's.
