I'm always a little hesitant about Temple fast food in general but the service here was over the top compared to usual experiences here and just in the town in general. My food was great hot fresh and accurate. Nice to see they turned themselves around. I hope it stays like this. Wow. It's insane. The reviews are soo low yet when my partner and I take road trips, we both appreciate a McDonald's meal for comfort and nostalgia reasons. We decided to stop here on the way back from Atlanta and well, this place was amazing. The staff were engaged and friendly. There was a young man with a beard and reflective clothing, beard guard intact (you don't see a lot of that) that was beyond welcoming and helpful. We placed our order on the interactive menu board and he brought our order to us. When he asked if we needed anything, I asked for a hot sauce. He offered 3 different options for me. Seriously, I don't get back bad scores/reviews. The food was beyond fresh and hot. It was relatively clean but the tables could've been cleaner, that said, I overheard that their person was off that day and how much they were missed. read more

Rudeness and attitude...when manager told nothing done.. We went out of way by passing the McDonald's in Villa Rica for same reason. Guess they pretty much have same attitudes...what happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? When you are greeted with an attitude you turn and walk away...the customer does not have to spend hard earned money and be treated as if they were an inconvenience...won't be going back. I ordered through the mobile app and it usually tells you when certain items aren't available yet when I pulled up to the speaker I was told after I already paid that their system was updating when they should have already had time to update it or at least had some kind of sign to let everyone know that they couldn't take orders right now! read more

I waited for over 4 minutes (which is forever in drive-thru time) for someone to take my order then they asked me to wait twice and then a person to my right pulled up and got their order taken IMMEDIATELY while I sat for another 2 minutes! Right when I debated backing up and changing lanes someone finally came on intercom and took my order. Already not a good start. Then I used the code for the "free nugget day" which the lady did not hear or understand at first and told me that the code had been used then when I went to go check the code and tapped on the deal again it gave me another code. They were saying that did not work either. Smh! They did promote it for free, as they should, but then when I got to the food pickup spot, they said that I was going to have to wait because it was such a large order and it would take about "5 to 10 minutes" !!! Mind you all I ordered was that 6 pc nuggets, 3 sandwiches (no customizations or anything) & some fries. While SIX, count 'em 6, cars got their bags of food and left in the time I was waiting. And when someone finally did come out, the girl confirmed my order, growled at me, handed me the bag and grumbled, "Have a good day," with her back to me as she walked away. She also had a box of condiments and sauces that she brought out with her, but did not offer me any, which is a shame because by the time I quickly looked into the bag and wanted to ask about Polynesian sauce for my daughter she simply ignored me and had already gone inside. Service is average. Food is consistent. Always understaffed and dining area is rarely open in the mornings.

LOVE the staff here, great folks! I also like the fact that they remember my semi picky ice coffee every morning even if I forget to mention it. Sometimes the drive thru gets insane but they do an overall excellent job with getting orders out. Service sat, waited in line and drive-through for 10 minutes to get to the speaker. Cars were pulling up. Nobody on the speaker was saying anything I spoke and said hello and no response I get to the window wondering what was wrong with your speaker and while I was waiting to talk to the guy there at McDonald's, he was busy, laughing and giggling with another employee over pictures on the cell phone he he ha ha so I asked him about service can I place my order and he told me I need to go back around and wait in that long ass line again because it was against store policy. I told him they need to quit playing in as soon as that came out of my mouth, a young lady jumped out of a chair, hiding behind the wall there at the drive-through window stating ha ha and I told them all they're nothing but a joke I will never, and I mean never use this ghetto McDonald's again be wearing customers their service sucks in their food isn't much better if you ever get it read more

Another restaurant in Temple that needs to close. They never get your order correct. Never! Why do they have a drive through? Every time you use it they make you pull into a parking space and wait while they bring your order, that will be wrong, to you. I almost wish they would go out of business. Just about every time I use the drive through I get home find my order is wrong. Now I check it and find that it is sometimes wrong at the window. Yes I understand it's fast food and you normally get what you get at this type of place. And we all know McDonald's food is all same but the one thing that sets them apart is their service at each location and this particular location we all like to get mad and act like fools to the small children that work there to make small amount of $. How ever these kids have very horrible supervision that's what set this location apart is the lack of proper management. Kids can only do what they can with what they are dealt There is no reason ever to wait in a drive thru over 11 mins there is nothing on the menu that should take this long so my advice to you at this location pay more attention to your supervisors and management staff it all starts there I sure you are always in RED. One of the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Extremely slow, people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I know why I have stopped frequenting this restaurant, yet again. It seems that most of the time when I try again, is on my way to work. I work in Atlanta, and when I arrive at work I sit down to eat and my food was prepared wrong. An hour later, I am hangry but have no choice but to eat the food I ordered that is not correct. The past two times I have hit this spot on the way into work because lately I have been craving ice coffee. I am now hooked on the Carmel Frappe with a shot of espresso. In the mornings traffic and be a little crazy, but both times I have came by I never waited long in line. I read the comments below and it seems there is a mishap with the delivery at the window. You have to remember there are two lane and depending on your judgment to move after your order before the other persons lands of you. I have had experience with them repeating my order even though I just order one item. maybe its possible that the clients aren't listening. Staff is very attentive and friendly. They have told me about the app where I can receive a free frappe after ordering 5, and knowledge me about the survey on the top of the receipt. Please make sure you check you order if you are ordering through drive thru. I have eaten here three times in the last week and all three times they have screwed my order up. The first visit they forgot the three fries that I ordered and the next two times they prepared my food wrong after I asked them to check it and they said it was correct. It was a pain in the ass having to drive back 15 minutes to get it corrected. I spoke with the manager a short brown haired young female, I didn't get her name but she could care less. Like another reviewer stated, I have given this McDonald's time to redeem themselves, but with no success. About 15 minutes ago, I went through the drive thru to use the $1 sandwich deal from the app for a fish sandwich, a large fry, and a sprite. The black lady wearing a hat, ponytail, and a grey shirt said my total was $6.41 AFTER she scanned my deal. She continuously restated my total ($6.41), which was when I asked if there was someone else that knew how to apply my deal. She closed the window and went to get a lady with a black shirt, who was no help. The one wearing the grey shirt reopened the window and said that my deal didn't work, so I got frustrated and said "don't worry about it." I went there because it was convenient, but now I have to go to thr next closest location, hoping everything works there. This was one of the most disgusting restaurants I've ever been to. We looked through the whole restaurant and finally chose the least dirty table. While we ate no less than 6-7 employees walked the dining room and not one of them cleaned anything. NOT ONE!!!!! Our feet stuck to the floor as we walked. The sweet tea had the sour taste of an urn that has not been cleaned in a very long time. As one of America's most popular food chains it's sad that your company takes for granted that because of your popularity you can just allow your lazy employees to be nasty because you know people will still come there. My mother-in-law is 80 years of age therefore, she used the drive-thru tonight and ordered 2 cheese burgers (plain) and a Big Mac w/ cheese. She goes home. Opens the bag and the 2 cheese burgers have only consists of a bun, cheese and pickles ! ''Where's the beef!" Upon carrying the entire order back she goes back to the drive thru asking to see the manager, who herself was asked to go over the order upon presenting her receipt. Who looks at the receipt to do a comparison and cannot figure out even by looking at the burgers to determine there's no beef on the 2 cheese burgers. After having to be verbally told the problem offers no apology and returns to the building laughing ! and wads the receipt up tossing it into the trash can when she is advised that she intended to contact McDonalds corporate thus, preventing her from retrieving the 1-800 number on the receipt. Some 15 minutes later after parking in their lot waiting on her correct order sends a drive thru employee to the car with the 2 cheese burgers, again not offering one word of apology having driven 15 minutes back into town to retrieve her correct order. Totally, poor unapologetic and disrespectful, night management. read more
