We came in for lunch at 12:15 on a Monday and it was moderately busy and this location stays busy. We were greated after being in line for a couple mins by one of the employees preparing the food which was odd but all 3 seemed to be in their game. The dining area was clean and orderly even with 1/2 the dining room full. I know it's weird but the parking lot is terrible to try and park in. This is one of the only locations that I have seen a drive thru and that had a huge part in the parking issues. They do make you sandwich fresh so it took about 5mins which is not terrible me imo. I ordered the pepperoni pizza meatball sub and it was tasty, the bread didn't have a noticeable garlic flavor which it said on the description. If there is anything I would change it would be to have more garlic spread on the bread. Overall it was a good experience in a busy location. Absolutely Unacceptable--NEVER Again! If I could give zero stars, I would! My church has been a loyal customer of this Firehouse Subs on Thornton Road for years, spending thousands of dollars. But after the disgraceful service, fraudulent charges, and complete lack of accountability from this location, we will NEVER be back. We placed an order but had an emergency and couldn't pick it up. Jada clearly mentioned we would be charged, but instead of waiting for confirmation, they fraudulently charged our church's credit card anyway--AFTER the call had ended. When I called to ask where the food was, Jacob had the audacity to say he had no idea what happened to it. So, let me get this straight--you charged us for food we didn't pick up and then "lost" it? To make matters worse, when I asked for the contact information for Richard, the supposed regional manager, Jacob conveniently "didn't know" how to reach him. How do you not know your own management team's contact details? He had no resolution for my issue but to tell me that Crysal will be in at 2:00pm. This level of incompetence is beyond unprofessional. This isn't the first issue we've had with this location, but out of goodwill, we kept giving them chances. That ends today. First time at this Firehouse Subs and they have pretty good subs here like the others I've visited. The sub shop is clean and the employees are friendly. They are opened inside and drive-thru as well. The employees wear face masks, but the consumers aren't required. They have really fresh vegetables for your salads or for your subs and the meat is fresh too. The five cheese Mac and cheese was not good at all. I took one small scoop and took it back. First of all, this place is SLOW AS HELL. Second, theres nobody wearing masks - I guess I missed the big news that the Delta variant has been eradicated? Third - do I detect a hint of racism here? I'm waiting for my order, big very tall black guy, theres a white guy in front of me, and another behind me. She asks the guy behind me, checks on it, then she asks the guy in FRONT of me - then goes about her business. When she passes by she gives me a dirty look. Later, shes talking loud about "everybody is all good", still passes right by me without acknowledging me whatsoever. I say "No we are not all good", but she continue to ignore me. I had already told another employee about my order, but that was 20 minutes earlier - 5 minutes and counting after the promised 15 minutes. I must have forgot - my momma was made of glass. Finally fed up with being ignored, and after seeing someone who came after me pick up their order. I went to the counter and asked why is someone who came in after me picking up. The young lady pointed to the rack, where that white lady had put my order, and NOBODY CALLED MY NAME! Everyone else in there got their name called or was asked about their status. I have always been a big fan of Firehouse and have eaten in dozens of their establishments over the years. The food has always been consistently good at all those locations barring one; this one! I ordered the pork and slaw sand which is normally heaven on a bun. What I got was a frugal amount of tired pork literally swimming in a sea of over sweetened slaw! But here is the coup de grâce; I asked the server if they could cut this hot mess of a sand in half. He took my entree back to the kitchen and I assume the sandwich makers refused so he walked over to the plastic knives and told me politely to go ahead and cut it myself. I had a positive experience yesterday but my husband had a really terrible experience this evening. Yesterday afternoon I made an order on their website which is not intuitive whatsoever, I basically had to build my specialty sandwich from scratch and because I wanted so many extra things on my sandwich I made sure to check and double check every item in my sub. My husband however, ordered a sub this evening and he assumed that the specialty sub came with a base and you could add whatever you wanted to it. That would make sense at a normal restaurant, however that was not the case here. His sub basically came with nothing in it and he was extremely disappointed. Furthermore the young girl at the window didn't close the lid of my drink all the way and when I stopped at the traffic light it spilled all over my car. I haven't tried firehouse subs since I relocated from Florida 10yrs ago. It was my weekly go-to lunch spot as it only a couple doors down from where I worked. I was on the road and needed to grab something quick but healthy to eat. I thought a sandwich would fit both criteria. This location was very clean and the staff were kind, helpful and pleasant. I called to place an order so I can just drive thru and pick it up so i can ferry back to work. I was immediately put on hold, which is fine, but I am then LEFT ON HOLD for more then 10 min without any customer service or communication. I understand it's lunch time and they might be busy, but don't ask me to hold then LEAVE ME ON HOLD indefinitely. If i hadn't just come inside to order I'd still be sitting on hold. This has happened to me a minimum of 6 times.... SIX TIMES AT LEAST.... If you're too busy to take phone orders DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! OR here's a novel idea, TELL THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WHO IS HOLDING THAT YOU'RE TOO BUSY TO TAKE A PHONE ORDER INSTEAD OF LEAVING THEM TO WAIT INDEFINITELY. I've always passed this establishment plenty of times and never had the chance to check it out. I'm so use to subway, it's hard trying something new, but visiting this place for the first time today all I can say is, I will definitely return! The menus is pretty simple to understand so I didn't have much trouble navigating through the process. I had help from the assistant manager Tabria. She was so helpful and ready to answer any question I had about the menu. It took me a while to decide, but we finally chose a sandwich for me. I'm in the military so I received a free drink which was nice. Now about my sandwich. I chose the Firehouse Hero Which came with Premium roast beef, smoked turkey breast and honey ham, topped with Provolone but I didn't add cheese(I'm lactose). When I received my sandwich I was very pleased with the outcome. It was so juicy and delicious! I think I found my new place for subs... Wasn't even bad in price either. Great job! I cant remember her name but I ordered Uber Eats through firehouse and at the time I never received my food. I called Firehouse and gave all my information and she stated it wasnt here and there is nothing she can do. I did not receive my food, my money was taken and I was advised that its out of her hands.
