Apparently they were closed but had no indication and a worker began yelling at me.... They said their doors don't lock? One of the worst McDonald's in terms of service. Has a good playplace. Honestly, if it weren't for their good playplace-- I believe the only one on a McDonald's in Toledo - - I would never come here again. The last three times, I had to ask for my order several times after people ordering after me already got served. Also, when you order from the machine, it says to take a table tent, but that's a lie. Half the time, you have to get your food from the counter yourself. Today, I ordered food for me, my wife, and two kids. After seeing two families who ordered after me get their food, I asked about mine. The person was confused, looked something up on a computer and walked away with telling me what was happening. More than five minutes later, he passes over a tray, but I notice my food is missing. I tell him so and again, he says nothing and walks away. Then 3-4 minutes later, he delivers my food. I notice there are only two cups on the tray. I explain the kids need their waters. Without saying a word, he taps the two cups. I said those are for the adults, but the kids need cups. Again, wordlessly, he provides the two cups. And this was not unusual for this location. McDonald's, either build another playplace or fix the staff at this place. read more

Literally waited 10 minutes in line for someone to take my order. And yes, they knew I was there because they said "I'll be with you soon". There was no one in front of us the whole time we were there. Then, it took an additional 10 minutes for just 2 mcchickens..... and the ice cream machine wasn't working. It's literally never working. I ordered a chicken sandwich with mayonnaise. I paid extra for it. they bag had a special slip that said and mayonnaise. then they slapped another one over it that said add cheese. Just some helpful advice. If you enter the order in correct the first time, rather than yelling to people on the line maybe customers orders will come out correctly. Management should invest in quality training. Waited in line for over 20 minutes for ice coffee that came with coffee grounds on the bottom. Let me explain. We all try to avoid fast food right? Sometimes you gotta tho. I travel for a living and this one takes the cake. So I always go inside when doing fast food except late night or I'm in my PJs because I want to see how my food is handled. Last time I came inside the power went out after I placed my order. Cashier starts yelling yay I'm going to get my nails done etc.. Did a little dance. Smh. I had already paid so I'm not amused. Ended up with my meal so OK but Wth? Drive thru in my PJs. Waited about 15 min. Nobody is responding to either speaker. Some folks are pulling off. Others going directly to window then pulling off with no bags. I ended up pulling off after 20 minutes. No idea what was going on. Tonight. 2 cars in drive thru. Get to speaker and person started saying we can't accept no credit cards no debit cards and if you want to still place an order hold on a few minutes. Inside closed, why can't you put something on the first order speaker that they do not use and why am I holding on when there's no one here? I left. It was not so much as getting the wrong order. I went thru the d/t and received my order. It was repeated back to me so I did hot look to verify. (Mistake 1) When I got to my Dr. appointment at UTMC, I looked in the bag and after unerappping my Sausage McMuffin with egg, there was no egg. I had time to go back and went inside to get my ordered corrected. I was greeted immediately and was told that they would be with me in a moment. I waited approx. 3 minutes for the person in d/t that was the presenter came over and asked me is there was anything wrong. I explained that I received the wrong order, she took the bag from me, took out the two sandwiches, and placed them back in the holding area, and gave me two correct sandwiches. How could you put something back to give to another customer, especially after it left the building, and was unwrapped. I worked fast food and full service, as a manager. as far as I am concerned that it a FOOD SAFTEY VIOLATION, HEALTH DEPARTMENT VIOLATION, AND A LIABILITY RISK IF SOMEONE GETS SICK. As I was stepping into the restaurant I was greeted by a really friendly hobo who asked me how I was doing, I reciprocated (which is only appropriate) and then he complimented me on my cute kid. I said thanks and then left because I was hungry! It was 1pm, so I was pretty sure it was going to be busy and was prepared for a wait. My son was eye balling the play area, so I got our food and in a hurry went over to visit the drink area. This employee was cleaning the station and staring at my son, which I thought was very strange. She then looked at me and told me my son looked like someone who was going to be a "drop out". I didn't know what to think so I ignored the idiot and went on with my time. I let my son eat, and was forced to wait for an employee to clean the play area after a kid peed on it. I just wanted to compliment this McDonalds on the nice hobo outside of the restaurant, because he was alot nicer than the douchebags they hired! Perhaps you should give him a job, he seems alot happier than this employee. So, I went back a couple days later, to get a sundae for myself and my kid and they got my order wrong. They thought I ordered french fries, and obviously I didn't. I get to the window after waiting 10 minutes from window one to window two and tell them "I didn't order this fry" when they hand me the bag. The 17 year old girl looks at me and says "She charged you not me. What do you want me to do?" When a customer tells you "I didn't order this." You don't stand there like a herp derp and ask "What do you want me to do." How stupid are you? Again, another reason to hire hobo Steve (yeah I just named him). I admit, I was pissed and let myself get pissy with her, but she deserved it and I got free fries. Oh yeah and the manger also asked me the same question. Honestly, what is wrong with the people who work here? Or the people who hire them. My advice, administer a basic intelligence test and you will eliminate half the crappy people out there and you will get a much better customer base b/c the people they serve will be happy when they don't have to deal with people like this. What pisses me off about Mc Donalds, I filed a complaint with the corprate office and two weeks later I have yet to receive any kind of apology. If there was an option for zero stars, that would be my rating. At drive thru line from 9:40pm and reached the order speaker at around 10:30. Waited at the speaker for someone to take our order but the speaker kept coming in and out and we never actually heard anyone speak. I drove up to the window thinking their speaker was not working. I got to the window at 10:45. There was an employee who was refilling paper bags, she saw me at the window but initially ignored me. I kept saying excuse me until she finally went and grabbed another employee. This employee was wearing the headset. I asked her if her equipment was working because we kept hearing it turn on off but no speaking. She said it was working and just busy because there were only 3 employees, they were cleaning since they close at 11. I asked if she could take our order, she said no because I was at the window and they were closing. Im very disappointed. When we arrived there were about 7 cars ahead of us. I dont know if the employees need more training or just more help. I think they ignore customers hoping they will get tired of waiting and drive off. I asked her for a number to call but said she didn't know a number. She said to come in when the manager was working or go online. Terrible service. The cashier kept walking off to talk while I was trying to pay. I got my food, had to stock the straws and lids myself as the employees watched doing not a damn thing. Horrible customer service, every time I go thru their drive thru they're extremely impatient and rude. The managers are all very rude and unprofessional, I went thru the drive thru tonight and my total was higher than expected considering I get the same thing every single time I go thru and I asked the tall tattooed gentleman why my total was so high and he laughed at me and mocked me with the other employee and then started sarcastically repeating my order back to me, the last time I went to this location I waited in line for 30+ minutes and when I got my food they gave me old hard mushy food and also forgot my large fries so I stopped and went back to the window to ask for my large fry and the night time manager female (short hair, always has an attitude) told me to get back in line to get my large fry and the line was longer than it was when I first got in, I had just gotten off of work I wasn't trying to wait another 45 minutes just to get my fry that they forgot .. so I went home to kids who wouldn't even eat the food because it was nasty ... so I threw it away, the next day after work I went back up there for them to tell me they couldn't help me because I didn't have the food, so I called the GM of that location and he mocked and belittled me the whole conversation he was very unprofessional and extremely rude, I will never be returning to this location for anything, I'd rather drive out of my way to the other McDonald's on broadway or somewhere else then go right around the corner from my house, I have never been treated so poorly at a food place in my entire life and I've been In the food business for years as a manager and would never treat my customers this way. Worst McDonald's I've EVER been to in 50 years of traveling the globe. They charge you extra for mustard packs. They refuse to give you a foam cup for soda in the drive-thru, but they'll give it to you for sweet tea. They will not let you order lunch items at the drive-thru @ 1059, when they start serving lunch at 1100 (despite the fact that there are 4 cars in front of you and it will be AFTER 11 by the time you reach the payment window). You get penalized for going inside instead of using the drive-thru when there's a lot of cars. There could be NO ONE in line at the counter and they'll STILL make you wait. WORST service EVER! I'll gladly drive the extra 2 miles to go to a friendly, customer-oriented one. Spread the word. read more

Chose this location because it was close to my hotel, and none of the McDonalds near me had more than 2 stars. Perhaps people were being too harsh? When I arrived I was relieved because it appears to be a nice newer building. However, when I went to place my drive through order I saw they had put signs up saying that they are only taking cash. This MCDONALD'S has the only indoor playplace locally, so we bring our granddaughters here, but every time I come, either the fries are cold, or there are older, bigger children in the playground who should not be in it. Today, some of those older kids deliberately ran out the exit door and set off the alarm. The manager could not find a key to turn it off. It was extremely annoying.
