Finally got our food 50 minutes after placing our order. My McChicken was cold. My husbands Spicy McCrispy was not hot. My son's fries in his happy meal were tough to chew. They forgot to give us our 4 piece chicken nugget. No apologies for the wait. Stood up at the counter for 15+ minutes just to ask if they could put our originally "for here" order, "to go" instead. Never acknowledged. Multiple staff walked past me, didn't make the contact with me or ask if I could be helped. Not sure why we had to wait so long for cold, crappy food. We shouldn't have waited and just asked for a refund but who knows how long we would be waiting for someone to process that request from us. Do not recommend. read more

The service in this restaurant is just terrible! No one pays attention to you, when you're up front in the counter with no line outside. Every time I order chicken nuggets the box is missing from my bag or the count of nuggets is less. I also order a normal Mc Chicken, the basic of foods they have. Then I check my bag and my order looked correct. But once I get home my mc chicken is plan with cheddderr cheese. Just got my DoorDash order, I ordered a Big Mac meal with a fish filet sandwich. They forgot the fish sandwich as well as a straw for my drink. Finally got to eat some of the food that I ordered and paid for and the Big Mac was cold. Weird because the fries were hot. I call BS, order the 2 for $5 mix match nuggets and a QP. Slow night (snow storm) I order go to bathroom gone under 2 mins food is ready. As I open the QP box right on top is "Fresh beef cooked when you order." I know they are thin pattys and all. But for my burger to be luke warm, cheese barely melted. That didn't get cooked when I ordered. I walked up to counter looked around the prep area. No griddle. I don't expect much at a Mickey Ds - but when it is located at a truck stop and there are Greyhounds stopping there regularly with a stringent time line - it would make sense that they would have their act together a little more. We rolled up in a Greyhound headed for Minneapolis from Chicago at around 1:30. We had 20 minutes to get to the restroom (4 stalls), get our food and get back on that bus. You'd be surprised at how fast 20 minutes goes by when there are 2 busloads of people and more waiting to be served. I ordered and paid for my meal and then headed off to the loo, since it was apparent that the meals were not coming out as quickly as the orders were being taken. That is to e expected but there were people stacked up a little more than I've seen at a Mickey Ds. The $1 menu is not prominently displayed. That's kind of annoying, because it looks like they don't have one - but they do. It's like they don't want you to know about it so you spend more. Also, the Daily Double special for $1.89 wasn't advertised, either. I watched as people who came after me got their orders. I was told that they were waiting on my chicken wrap. Then I was presented with a barbeque chicken wrap, which was not what I ordered. With the clock ticking - I just took it and bolted out the door. The barbeque chicken wrap sauce is very spicy; in fact, too much so for me. I won't be having this wrap again. The yogurt parfait with chopped apple and caramel was really yummy. I'm sure it has more sugar than I should be eating, so it will be a once in a while deal. But on my return trip, I now have a coupon for a free burger since they made me wait so long. I just had a wonderful experience at this McDonald's. The #1 most impressive thing was that the general manager Denise went out and greeted customers in the lobby. She also took an order on register to help out. It was a little busy but I didn't have to wait long for my food. There were plenty of people working and everyone seemed to know what they were doing and where to be. It was very organized. I ordered a scrambled egg and to my delight it was not old, hard, and rubbery. The entire restaurant, including the restroom was very clean. read more

This Mc D's seems to be super clean and well staffed. The young lady that waited on me was friendly and quick. I decided to eat lke a local and had a Johnsonville brat with cheese curds. The brat was disappointing because the bun was a little soggy. Curds were good however and had coffee to drink with it all. I love mickey d"s coffee. This is an easy place to stop at just off I-94 at Exit 143. It's' right next to a Kwik Trip Travel Center that also has trailer and bus parking, and near several other fast food options (KFC, Arby's, China Buffet). The bathrooms were well stocked with soap, towels and toilet paper, but were not clean. The service was fast, and the chicken nuggets were hot and crispy, but the fries were soggy, greasy and unevenly salted, and my daughter was mistakenly given the boys' toy in her Happy Meal. The drive thru is pretty slow. They usually forget napkins and forks. They have a big dine in place. Service inside seems faster than the drive thru. Sometimes they even bring you your food when you are sitting down. They do not have a play place for kids, but there is a section where kids can play games and some touch screen games. read more

We're in town for summer vacationing and my family stopped here for bfast. This location is spacious and the employees were friendly. There was a mistake when we got our food. I had ordered an additional sausage and cheese mcmuffin for my daughter, but when we recieved our order it was missing and I KNOW I ordered it. No biggie. I'll just order it again. But the manager was there and she was able to figure out it was a simple cashier mistake and she had one made for us at no charge. Wow, talk about great customer service. The coffee is great. For some reason this McDonald's consistently has a long waiting time problem in their drive through. I go here once or twice a week and on average am stuck in line waiting for at least 10 minutes nearly every visit just to get to the cashier window. One of two things need to happen at this McDonalds: the manager needs to fire some people or the manager needs to be fired. I have eaten here before as dine in customer and had no issues. The drive through is another story. This McDonalds is about 80 feet from the interstate so I expect it would see a lot of travelers using the drive through. It has the two lane drive through that is becoming common with most McDonalds. I pulled in on the left behind a minivan and soon realized I had chosen poorly. I maneuvered to the right lane as it became vacant. I was promptly asked for my order and I was at a loss to find the menu I was looking for. The drive through menu was still flipped to breakfast, at 5pm. I flipped the menu sign for them. For our meal we had two orders. I ordered two mcdoubles with some fries and my paramour ordered a mcchicken with no mayo and extra pickles. Now we began the wait. Several minutes later we made it to window #1 to make our payment and receive our receipt. More than 15 minutes after taking our order we received our food, 15 minutes for "fast food" at a drive through. I watched him put the food in the bag as we sat at the window. What were they doing for the last 15 minutes? No "sorry for the wait", just a bag shoved out the window. My paramour asked for ketchup and mustard and I was handed a bundle of ketchup packets, no mustard. I did not argue as I did not want to delay those waiting behind us any longer. I could see the counter with one employee and one customer. They were not swamped on the inside, so I do not understand the delay. Cars were now four deep before the menu/order point. As we pulled away and entered the interstate my paramour pulled out her mcchicken to discover it was not her sandwich. It had a receipt saying "no lettuce, no onions" taped to it. Obviously they can make a special order they just can't get it into the corresponding bag. This is an example of poor management. McDonalds has had a assembly line for prompt service longer than I have been alive. It is a proven system when properly staffed and managed. So as I see it the broken link is the staff or the manager. Which I provided a solution to fix in the first sentence. I may dine in here but I will never use this drive through again. read more

The Tomah McDonalds is slow at changing there signs according to the night managers at least a month....and not good at standing behind there signs. Waited in drive thru for 10-minutes for order and then they were going to charge me almost $2 above the cost of the sign price. I was then told they would not stand behind the signs price.
