Every-time I go to NorthSide Topeka McDonalds it's either wrong, gross, cold, or this time it was saying "If you made the mobile order drive-thru pick-up you have to get it from the drive-thru" when I go inside because the drive-thru was packed and all I had got on the app was a large dirty dr pepper. Which was odd because nobody at any McDonalds including the Northside has said that. Just thought i'd share another dumb situation with that place. read more

This is a great place to go if you want the wrong order and old food every time! I have given this McDonald's quite a few chances thinking it can't get any worse than the time before but each time I go they show their commitment to increasingly awful service. On top of that they enjoy having people pull around when no one is behind you literally just for a faster turnover so they look good to corporate. If a negative star review was possible I would have started with that. read more

Lukewarm to cold food. The chicken McNuggets were like they were cooked several times. The server taking our order gave the company response regarding the price. What we paid for our meal was not worth the price. NO VALUE! The trouble is that the other McDonald's here are not much better. The BEST McDonald's that we have found have been in Park City, Kansas and on 21st and Maize Road in Wichita, but avoid this McDonald's. It does not live up to the McDonald's standards. read more

They claim they have no food at 1am, last time they claimed I couldn't have lunch because they had just cleaned the grill at 3:30am or so, another night there were only a few items available because of supposed grill cleaning at near 2am. So they're ALWAYS cleaning the grill all night now! This despite my overhearing from some area guy talking to a store manager recently that they were going to start cleaning stuff during 1st shift breakfast, so they could be sure it was actually happening; this being a change they settled on because of a recent grease fire at a location in town that hadn't actually been cleaning! Maybe just close this one at night if you cant actually provide the whole lunch menu for the time specified. And here's a thought. Don't clean the lunch grill till after 4am!!! Done right there should be zero gap in product availability!! read more

Recently remodeled, their drive thru now has two lanes and is very fast. Service inside is just as fast and appears clean. It's a typical McDonalds with a play pen for the kiddos. read more

It's a great place if you want a manager that is condescending to customers. Today we went to the store, ordered our food as we have done hundreds of times before. They somehow cleared the order after making us wait 15 minutes for food. The manager comes out and explains in a condescending way that it was cleared and took our receipt to get the order. Then comes back with the wrong order even with the receipt?!?!?!? We had to go inside, talk to the other manager to finally get our order corrected at which point the female manager that was condescending knew exactly what was missing from our order. We will never be dining at this location again. read more

Well... just ordered a few things through the drivethu. First, the Frappe/Smoothie machine is broken :( They are out of chicken tenders... and that kills 2 of the things I was asked to get. Paid... pulled up... Handed 3 drinks in a car with 2 cup holders :S No cup carriers either.... Handed bag of goodies.. Should have checked but I didn't. Got home, I had ordered chicken nuggets.. I had a daily deal that showed it was going to expire in 2 days so I told my 4 year old granddaughter we were going for this item. When I got there the very same day, the app did not have it listed. I asked the clerk why it wasn't there but there were different deals listed. I got an "I don't know, I don't use the app". Don't depend on these daily deals. read more

My wife and I spent some time here on Saturday morning before Railroad Days at the Great Overland Station. We enjoyed taking our time with our big breakfasts, orange juice, and coffee. We like the remodeled format, and the place seemed very clean and contemporary....which is not always the case for fast food places these days. We plan to come back soon read more

My entire family would go to this McDonalds every Sunday. Service at times was slow especially getting a cup of coffee. But this last Sunday I was waiting for a refill and 3 people were working cash registers and 2 were filling orders. No one was in line and dining room was fairly empty after 10 minutes of staff walking back and forth looking right at me I had enough and loudly asked if I was invisible. Assistant manager is rude and absolutely ignored me last time we will go there. My son had drive up order issues in the past also. read more

This restaurant is on my way to and from work so I've stopped here on many occasion. There is a stark contrast in customer service during different times of the day. I realize no fast food establishment is going to get every order right every time, but WOW, the fail rate during the evenings and weekends is extraordinary! This evening was the second time in the last 4 days I've had to return food because the order was wrong. One evening after waiting for 15 minutes in the drive through line I finally got up to the window to pick up only to witness a bored looking teenage girl standing there looking at her phone. I don't seem to experience these problems in the mornings when I stop before work. Customer service as a whole is severely lacking on evenings and weekends. I recommend you avoid this restaurant during these times. read more
