Service is not bad. The food is what makes it one star. I've gone to this McDonald's for a while now and I went one night and I got my food. The fries were cold right after I got my food. It made me sick the next morning. While I was in the car eating the chicken nuggets that weren't cold I started feeling dizzy and felt like I couldn't drive home or even move because of the food. This location and service is decent. The inside atmosphere is friendly and family oriented. The inside dining and playground equipment area had been recently renovated. Food wise, I ordered a $5 breakfast sandwich recently and opened it to half a strip of bacon on my Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel. Do they expect me to go back home and cook up another 1-3 strips of bacon so I can call it by its menu name!?! I don't think they know how to get an order correct. My coffee this morning had grounds in it and I didn't notice until I got to work. A sloth would be faster getting your order and moving folks thru the line. A manager needs to be on site so they can see what's going on and fix it. I definitely won't be going back. We got 2 quarter pounders and they were so greasy. Grease was dripping from them we ate a few bites and threw them away. And was nausea from the grease. We want eat at McDonald's anymore, it's not the same as it use to be. We used to be able to get a great grilled chicken sandwich here. But they don't offer that anymore. The past few times I have been to this McDonalds the service has been awful. Waiting 20+ minutes to get my food. My most recent trip I order just an apple fritter, they asked me to pull to the side as they were waiting on them. I waited for 25 minutes just for them to bring it to bring it out. This location is always very busy-lots of cars in the parking lot (most likely folks going to/from the lake and/or Winston). They have a double drive thru so I have never had to wait more than what seems like a minute or two for my order. They also have a "play-place" for the kiddos. I'm not a huge fast food fan but I do love their iced coffees...husband has always been happy with his orders- biggest compliment was that the fries tasted "fresh". I've never found the service here to be lacking and pretty much always you will find a friendly face at the drive-thru windows. Service is quick and to-the-point. the only downside I see this restaurant is if you show up early in the hours even after they've already opened up and try and go through the drive-thru the message playing on the drive-thru still says they are closed and that will throw you off. the other downside is if you do online ordering ordering via the app often times it will say this location is closed when it is not and I do wish they would fix it. read more

Wow! Today I was blown away by the quick, accurate and friendly service! I had a custom drink and biscuit order and both were perfect and fresh. The person taking money at the handout window had smiles and were very efficient... Even took time to confirm my order and bless me a happy day. As I arrived to the drive through, there were two cars ahead of me. It took me under two minutes to take my order and get my food! I practically didn't stop constantly rolling around the building. shift manager gave me burnt fires, pointed that out and he tried to tell me it was the oil. He kept serving customers burnt fries. asked him why he kept serving burnt fries, he said they were supposed to. my roll was burnt on top 3 little cooked onions inside sandwich. bacon was stringy and chewy lettuce was wilty. I have pictures. I can see now why the Article in last weeks USA Today shows Burger King taking on and winning against McDonalds. Never gonna back to this one. Extremely slow. Waited forever in line to watch my food go out the window and come back. When I came to the window I argued it and was told it would be remade. When I was given the McFlurries a second time they were more melted than before. I'm done with McDonalds. read more

I am not a huge fan of McDonald's food in general but the customer service and expeditious drive thru service are both top notch. Service with a smile at both windows every time I go which is once a week because my kids love their happy meals! Great management and logistics make for a great experience! read more

so frustrated by this McDonald's today granted I use the wrong code because it was the code I tried to use yesterday and and didn't have the opportunity or availability to use it so it messed up my order however they didn't fix it they didn't replace the combo that I ordered and charge me individually for the sandwich the fries and my drink no wonder my 20% off code when I finally got the code to work only took off a dollar difference from the original to now even though on my receipt it shows three dollars the manager was supposed to speak to me when I got to the second window hand me my receipt and looks dumbfounded when he gets there now I was upset because he took my card from the first window to the second window my card was out of my sight that is unacceptable and this time of an in the world that we live in you're not supposed to take my card out of my site you could've copied the numbers written it down taken a picture I'll kinds of fraud and issues abound when my card leaves my site that's not supposed to happen I waited for him to say something when he arrived at the window once I got my order and my card back and yet there was nothing so I go when I park in the parking lot so that I can call him to speak to him about one day the problem of my car disappearing and him taking it and then him having no words when he got to the window I'm a mess up on my order all he wants to do is tell me that he can't fix it if I won't come inside well I have a toddler there's a reason I go through the drive-through she's yelling and I'm hopping in the backseat it's not helping that he's being rude and over talking me as if what he has to say is more important I'm simply trying to tell him that by looking at the receipt I was instantaneously able to determine what the problem was and how it should've been fixed but he can't fix it if I won't come inside and I won't come inside because my dad is already crying and screaming and angry so come on be better McDonald's read more

Went through drive-through Tues. 31 around 1:00 P.M. Ordered 1 small tea and 1 kids tea came with meal. Girl at 1st window ask if I had 2 kids teas, I told 1 & 1 small. She called on her head set and told someone. When I got to pick up window a short Hispanic girl gave me 2 kids. I told her what happened and she really gave me hell over this simple mistake. Another girl told her to give me the small and she argued with her also. Don't have time in my life to fuss over a cup of tea!!!!!! What McDonalds is expected to be as far as service. When I was there, trash cans were overflowing to where customers were having to put their tray/trash on TOP of the bins.
