Three words - COFFEE lCE CUBES!! (Frozen coffee)…read more I just found one of my favorite coffee spots Queen Coffee Bean is a coffee shop owned by Claudia! I had the pleasure of meeting her this morning and I had one of the best coffee's I've had in a long time. Claudia is innovative! She does something unique with her coffees and it's with something as simple as the ice. She makes her own coffee ice cubes, so as it melts your drink won't get watered down, it'll get coffee'd? down! She has menus that describe how to order your coffees if you don't know how to order them properly, like me! Claudia was super friendly and proud of her shop and her craft. I ordered a mocha and she drizzled the cup with chocolate syrup, and whipped cream on top and she poured the espresso on the very top, which I've never seen before. It added such a nice flavor profile to the coffee. There's plenty of spaces to sit in there! She has nice music playing, and overall it's a great vibe in there! I'll definitely be back! Go and see Claudia and have some of the best coffee around.

She greeted us as we walked in and was friendly and happy and kept us smiling and laughing. I came in wanting a caramel mocha, then saw she had raspberry, then she mentioned she also had mint and banana, so I finally decided on a banana mocha. It was delicious! My friend told her to freestyle something with caramel and Claudia made her a caramel affogato. Her ice cubes are coffee so iced drinks don't get watered down! I'll have to grab an iced drink next time! The inside is painted black and is so cute! We love admiring the decor as Claudia prepared our beverages! If you haven't been yet, stop by! Make sure to ask for all the current syrups as the menu doesn't list them all! We'll be back soon!!!

Great coffee, great vibe, and even better experience…read more We recently stopped by Chi Rho Coffee in High Point and had such a solid experience from start to finish. We were there doing some behind-the-scenes content, and the space was welcoming, calm, and perfect for both conversation and getting things done. Drink-wise, everything was on point. The Honey Ginger Chai was smooth and comforting, especially with almond milk and a nice froth. The blueberry muffin (warmed) was simple but really good--sometimes that's all you need. My cappuccino, the José Conseco, truly lived up to its name: bold, smooth, and flavorful without needing any added sugar. That alone says a lot about the quality of their coffee. What stood out most is that Chi Rho really proves you don't need a lot of sugar or extra additives to make a great cup of coffee. The flavors speak for themselves. Whether you're stopping in for a family coffee run, a casual meeting, or just want a quality cup in a relaxed environment, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. We'll absolutely be back.

Of them, I've enjoyed the Cinnamon Toast latte while my wife is a fan of the Berry Haze. I've been trying to do sugar-free syrups when I can as of late, and thankfully, Joy Bar has a larger-than-average assortment of them on hand. While the coffee is still the biggest strength, Joy Bar does offer more. Whether you need a baked good, a bag of beans, a chocolate bar (courtesy of local artisans Eigen), or a gift, Joy Bar has you covered. The baristas are always friendly, and while there isn't always a table to spare (inside at least - patio seating is usually open in nicer weather), the atmosphere remains comfortable. High Point is practically hemorrhaging coffee shops at this point, but even amid the heightened competition, Joy Bar is a reliably good option.

I've since moved to Greensboro, so it's been a while, but as soon as I walked through the door and caught a whiff of coffee and their delicious baked goods, I was reminded why this was my favorite coffee shop in HP. Debeen Espresso is a charming, female-owned local gem that combines the art of great coffee with delicious, in-house gluten free and vegan baked goods. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere and warm smiles from the baristas set the tone for a great experience. I had the pleasure of trying their banana walnut muffin, and let me just say--it was the moistest muffin I've ever tasted. The balance of banana, walnut, and spice was perfect, and it paired wonderfully with my almond milk latte. There's an array of gluten free and vegan muffin and cookie options as well as additional treats (overnight oats, carrots and hummus, etc) in the fridge. It's clear that Debeen Espresso takes pride in not just the quality of their coffee, but in everything they do. The service was fast and friendly and the shop itself is cozy, with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, where additional seating provides a chance to enjoy the fresh air while sipping your favorite drink. Adjacent to Debeen is Pure Light Yoga, creating the perfect opportunity to sip, savor, and even savasana--all in one visit. Whether you're there for a quiet moment away or catching up with a friend, Debeen Espresso offers a unique and relaxing space where you can really enjoy your experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this cozy spot with its delicious drinks, healthy treats and welcoming vibe.

The term "hidden gem" can be thrown around often, but this place is truly hidden and really a gem. Tucked inside the Carolina Core Center, you'd never know it was there even if you drive right past the building. It only makes the discovery that much better. Everything was exceptional. The woman behind the counter was warm, funny, and one of those people who instantly lifts your mood. I ordered the Shaken Hazelbee (espresso, honey, hazelnut, oat milk), and it was perfect. It was actually stirred not shaken, and I wish I caught the barista's name because she was classic. As a James Bond fan, I couldn't stop laughing when she said, "As 007 would say, this is shaken not stirred. So this being stirred not shaken, he must go as 700." That absolutely made my day. Coffee was spot on, service was incredible, but the real standout is the space itself. This is easily one of the most relaxing and serene spots anywhere in the Triad. It's huge, with multiple rooms for working, unwinding, or hanging out with friends. Comfortable couches everywhere, quiet corners for privacy, soothing music, and a large covered and cozy patio. The lake and waterfall right next to it take the ambiance to another level. If you want a peaceful, beautiful spot far from the hustle and bustle of chain coffee shops, come here. You will truly enjoy it.

I'm not sure if they do consignment style shops within the gift shop, or if it's all under the same business, but it's arranged in a bunch of mini sections that all kind of have a different aesthetic. It was a bit maze-like, but I have no doubt they sell something in here for everyone. Like the gift shop, the bakery had huge variety. Who knew there were so many types of cake? I ended up getting a carrot cake latte and a heart shaped macaron. It was only after I had ordered my latte with oat milk, checked out (including paying the up-charge for oat milk), and waited several minutes that they told me they were out of oat milk. This was disappointing, as I paid my extra for the oat milk, yes, but also because I don't really want a latte in general without it. Regardless, it was too late, so I just told them to do it with 2%. The latte was okay but I didn't love it. It mostly tasted sweet and like cinnamon. Which I guess is more or less what carrot cake tastes like? The menu said it came with a cream cheese cold foam or whipped cream (I don't remember which) but it came out with plain whipped cream. The espresso was a little bitter - maybe burnt or shocked. The macaron was gorgeous, but didn't have a macaron taste or texture. It was hard like cookie. A macaron should be light and airy, and the shell should almost collapse under a bite. I had to chomp through this one. I am not sure if it was stale, a bad batch, or if their "macarons" are just "macaron shaped cookies" by design.
