I went to this McDonald's yesterday with my kid and we went through the drive thru, first the person who took our order sounded like he didn't want to be there and then when I got to the payment window I said Hello and the young man didn't respond. He was a young BLK male with locs. I even asked does he speak, and still nothing. We then went to the next window to receive our food and the young lady was trying to get our drinks and food ready when the same gentleman and potentially a young woman came to ask about why they were in the position they were (drive thru and cashier) You could tell she was frustrated and yet she was so positive and friendly with me. Rude and disrespectful workers and Manager. I placed two orders for pickup. I was charged twice but only one was produced. In the app you could clearly see two orders. I was also able to show two corresponding bank debits, as well, for the exact amount of each order. No one could offer any assistance on who to contact or attempted to rectify the situation, including the "Manager." They were such a load of losers that I left and forfeited the money that was lost. They were all too stupid and lazy to attempt anything resembling customer service. read more

Well dang! Haters gonna hate, but I gotta give this McDonald's solid marks for their deliciously prepared food and clean facilities. The restaurant is attached to a gas station, but it's a full service with a drive-thru too! The dining room and restrooms are open to the public. After getting gas a friend picked up the order. We ate in the car as the plan was to head out. We both ordered the exact same thing. Quarter pounder with cheese, fries and Dr. Pepper. Shockingly everything was spot on yum! The bun was fresh and meat hot and tasty and prepared perfectly. The fries were also hot and salted just right. The soda had just the correct carbonation. Extra napkins were included. So for the food alone a solid 3 plus. But it gets better. Prior to my departure I entered to utilize the mens restroom which was clean, no odor and everything worked. That was enough for me to say the unthinkable for a McDonald's. It would be an injustice to provide this experience less than a 4 stars. So I'm the most infrequent customer McDonald's probably has. I just stopped going years ago other than the occasional ice cream run which often disappointed me with broken down machines. If they could consistently be this good I would come in for a Mac attack more often than annually. Thank you for restoring my faith in one of my favorite childhood chains. read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered at the kiosk to dine in. Took my number to a table and waited, and waited and waited. Finally took my receipt to the counter and tried to flag down an employee. An employee came over and I explained that my order number wasn't on the screen. Said it must have been overlooked. Wordlessly, he took the receipt and laid it down behind the counter and walked away. I waited some more. After some time I grabbed the receipt and headed for the register to request a refund. I was told to get in line behind all the customers already in queue, so I did. As I was requesting the refund, a manager came over, not to apologize for the lack of service, but to tell me it was wrong of me to have taken my abandoned receipt from behind the counter. And for good measure the cashier chimed in that "next time" (they seriously thought there would be a next time), they would call the police! Wow! Just wow. read more

Not the greatest or the cleanest location, but this McDonald's serves a terrific purpose of being right on the way and easy to get into. I stopped by at 8:00 on a weekday and the manager was directing the crew to do some cleaning, which the restaurant needed. A couple of tables were dirty and the drinks station needed the trash emptied. But my Number Three with large coffee was perfect. I had a short wait for the hash browns but they were done right and not pulled from the fryer early. It does share the building with a gas station. The bathrooms would appear to be theirs and not McD's. read more

Food is good, the restaurant is clean, service is friendly, but the time it takes to get your food is forever. Your average wait time is going to be about 10-12 minutes, which we all know is a long time for fast food. I can't say much for the drive through...I have only gone inside the restaurant, but from other reviews it seems it's not much better. That said, the staff is friendly and takes their time to get your order right. However, they do seem overwhelmed and I'm willing to bet this location is continually short staffed. If you don't mind the wait, then this location should be fine for you. read more

Ordered a #9 lg iced coffee which is normally $9.40 but today i was told the same #9 would be $11.40 so i went to another McDonalds down the road and their price was $9.40. Upon venting to cowokers i found out i was not alone and other have been charged either .30 to $2 more for food. read more

This McDonald's location is great when traveling. There is a convenience store attached. The employees are nice. The bathrooms are clean.

Slowest McDs ever. Twenty-five minutes for just a sandwich which was sloppily made, served upside down in the box, and was sitting in a pool of oil. Men's room was also filthy. Save yourself the wait / aggravation and get your food at the attached gas station. read more

This McDonalds is the best choice of two in the area. This one is in Opal along Route 29 and the intersection of Marsh Road. It is co-located with a gas station and convenience store. There is no play area for kids at this location. It is small inside. They keep it clean and the staff work quickly here. You can still call this fast food whereas the location on Marsh Road in Bealeton should be called "slow food". So if you are in a hurry this location is the best in the area. The next nearest location besides the one in Bealeton is the one in Warrenton where the service is "super slow food"! read more

They have really good tasting food just as any McDonald's but it is good and when the building caught on fire it was a little bit scary but they opened really fast so they got some great construction workers there I guess they know how busy they get!! When staff confronted, and told that one of my family members is in the icu with covid, only pulled up halfway. Can't imagine they give much care to any health and safety protocols. Been here for breakfast and in the middle of the night and the service was more than adequate both times, with the food being what you'd expect from a McDonald's. Certainly faster than the Sheetz across the street and my only complaint being that you have to circle the store through the gas station to get to the drive thru and back out onto the road, as the access to US-17 is an entrance only. read more

I very seldom go to McDonald's. So I post these comments with that in mind. Before Covid, during Covid and even today, I guess, still Covid. This McDonald's has consistently had one of the slowest drive-through lines I've ever been in. 15 cars in line took 16 minutes. Now, if the food was warm and the drinks weren't water down, it may have been worth the wait. Two large meals, the food was cold, the drinks were watered down. The fries in the large container did not even pick out the top of the container. They weren't even crispy and stiff they were worm like and soggy. The total was nearly $18. It is appalling to me that I spend that much money on this food. I could've gone to a sit down, knife and Fork restaurant and for probably $10 more at lunchtime had a completely different lunch experience. I went here because my daughter was not feeling well and said she felt like a cheeseburger. So instead of going to two different restaurants to obtain food, I chose to get food from here as well. Never again. I have gone to other "fast food" Restaurants, and there could be 30 people in a line, The line moves so quickly, and you're out of there quickly with hot food. That is not the case at this particular McDonald's. So sad. They spent all that time building their new little McDonald's I still cannot produce properly read more

I don't eat fast food but was picking up a quick meal for my significant other. Went through the drive thru and ordered the Bacon Clubhouse Burger meal and the cashier asks, "You want the chicken or the burger?" For someone who doesn't eat fast food I thought, "Why is he asking me if I want chicken or burger when it is supposed to come with beef patty, no?" So I said, "Burger." I drove up to the drive thru window to pay and I see this young kid on his cell phone as he's taking my payment. I drive up to the second window and I'm handed the meal I ordered however was not given the milkshake and saw that it was just sitting on the counter. I politely inquired about the chocolate milkshake I had ordered. The employee looks at me and says, "You ordered what?" He hands me the milkshake as he's still holding onto the straw that he failed to give to me because he was too busy talking to his co-worker in the small cramped area at the drive thru window. When I got home I opened the meal to place on a dinner plate for my husband (who by the way hasn't eaten for days due to the flu) and I saw that the burger had only: a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, 3 small slices of bacon, a slice of cheese, Katchup, and two small slices of pickles. Where is the beef patty? I looked up the menu on McDonald's website and this is the description of what the burger is supposed to contain: Thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, caramelized grilled onions, white cheddar*, crisp leaf lettuce and fresh tomato, all lovingly layered on a quarter pound** of 100% pure beef, then topped with Big Mac special sauce. Served on our artisan roll. I totally did not see the entire description of this on the burger I had ordered. I will not be returning and will listen to my gut instinct next time and take the extra few minutes and spend the extra $10 for a carry-out at a sit down restaurant. read more

I went to get breakfast at 530 am no one in line waited a few minutes for employee to answer the drive thru intercom she tells me my order will be 4.69 1st window. I pull up to the 1st window no one there to take my money waited for a minute drove to the 2nd window a female the manager yells at me I told you the 1st window now I have to walk back there points toward the 1st window with a raised voice that window. I tell her there was no one at that window she with again with a raised voice says I am the only one here and she walks away not even taking my credit card appeared she was trying to make coffee which I did not order. I drove off and a few seconds later she looks out the drive thru window appeared to throw her hands up . now i get to work in DC working 16 hours heading back home about midnight after the hour drive i stop back at the same Mcdonalds for more punishment for a ice tea in the drive thru at the speaker employee comes over the intercom in a rude manner ( like I was interrupting her) tells me be a minute so i waited over 5 minutes no response so again I drove off. This was not the first time that a employee at this location was rude. I complained to the above manager in the past about her employee being rude which she did apologized and tried to give me my food for free which I told her I did not want free food just nice people when I order a happy meal (hahaha) never again will I visit this Mcdonald's read more
