Egg, bacon and cheese bagel sandwich- forgot the cute little name for it!

The line was short this Friday morning! Great little place to hit when you don't feel like working! Bagels are always fresh and my husband really enjoyed his bagel breakfast sandwich! The ladies behind the counter were cheerful even though they start working early! Love this little place in Warrenton and will be back very soon!

When I say these are the best bagels I've ever had in my whole life..... and I've had some good bagels. I ordered the "Rosie" bagel (rosemary sea salt) with black pepper and thyme cream cheese and omg it was like eating the best, tastiest thanksgiving stuffing. The bagel was thick but somehow still the perfect texture (just chewy enough). The flavor was out of this WORLD. The cream cheese - man do they give you a huge schmear and it is perfect. Creamy, flavorful, balances well. I live in western PWC and would happily drive out 30 minutes to old town Warrenton just to get a bagel and go back home. I wish we had one of these in my city!!!!!

Came here for the first time on Saturday, July 27, 2024. There was a long line all the way to the door and when I got up front to place my order there were barely any bagels left and this was at 11 AM. I got my order in and then had to wait around 15 to 20 minutes in which the manager came out and announced that there were no more bagels left. I got a plain bagel with cream cheese for myself and garlic bagel with cream cheese for my husband. They were basically burnt bagels are not supposed to be this dark. I won't cancel them out yet. I will try get there earlier next time hopefully they will be baked better and more fresh. In response to the owners comment about hoping they didn't taste burnt.... Yes they did.

Stopped in one morning for some bagel breakfast sammiches. They have a number of options - I wanted to try a couple - so I ordered two different sammies - which I shared with a friend: Bagel Breakfast Sandwich #1: Sesame Seed Bagel with Chorizo, Egg, & Cheese, add extra cheese Bagel Breakfast Sandwich #2: Sesame Seed Bagel with Bacon, Egg, & Cheese, ad extra bacon and cheese. I also ordered a cold brew with Half n' Half. The place is tiny, so as soon as I completed placing my order, I went and stood outside to wait. There were several folks in line behind me - and there just isn't any room inside to wait. After a few minutes, one of the employees popped outside to deliver my order to me - but she forgot the cold brew - so I had to go back inside and remind them about my beverage. It was served up to me fairly promptly at that point. I would have preferred a Jalapeño-Cheddar Bagel - but they were all out. Overall, the cold brew was a good, solid cold brew. The Chorizo on the first breakfast sammie was under seasoned for my palate. My friend agreed. The bacon, egg, and cheese was pretty good! Paid with Apple Pay. Service was good. #WeirdDoughsBagelsAndBrews

My husband found the place online after a fasting blood draw visit. We were both very hungry and the Weird Dough did NOT disappoint! They boasted New York Style bagels, and I was ready for criticism, having grown up on the East Coast. I have only praise! It truly is a bit of New York bagel. It has the beautiful chew you want as well as a crispy outer shell when toasted. We bought some to take home as well as a bacon cheddar and egg sandwich. It was very tasty. Their bacon was salty and savory. The egg is generic and could use more seasoning, but it was really about the bagel, and we were extremely pleased that we have a go-to breakfast stop in Warrenton now. They have freshly baked as well as a few day old bagels for a lower price. I love that they tell you exactly how old the bagel is. They have bagel chips too, and these little protein bites that are handmade each morning. I tried the blueberry protein bite and it was very satisfying and filling. I can't wait to try the peanut butter one tomorrow. I have not tried the coffee, but if it is half as good as the bagels then it will be amazing.

This is a newly opened place located here. This was my first time visiting here to purchase a dozen bagels, because I heard so many good things from my local family regarding their bagels. See my pics. I purchased a dozen of various bagels for $31.70 excluding gratuity. I especially enjoyed their "everything" bagels. The bagels are very large in size. You can see from my pics that there are tables here should you decide to enjoy your food and drink at a table. I will definitely return here again for more take out bagels.

As soon I pulled up to the property, I loved the structure of the buildings displaying pretty various stones. I couldn't take any pictures since it was pouring rain when I was there. They have plenty of free parking in front of the buildings. Also I noticed that everything was well kept up and pristine conditions. To their landscaping, restaurant and especially the hotel room. As soon as I got into my hotel room, I felt so relaxed. I love the ambiance and how calming everything is. The room was super clean and everything was placed so perfectly. I do not sleep well in hotel room beds but I was pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the bed was and I was able to get some needed rest. Literally everyone was super nice, friendly and helpful! I have to give a special shout to Marianne Postma-Harris for being so generous and accommodating, I really appreciated it! Marianne went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of! She was beyond friendly and sweet! Breakfast is included in the stay which is a plus! You fill out the door tag menu they provide you and you leave it outside the door and then in the morning they bring it directly to your room. I had a veggie omelet and it was so delish! Def recommend that one for sure! Even though I didn't get a chance to take advantage of their restaurant or spa services, I plan on my next visit! It is such a nice local get away and also a great place to have a gathering or a special event! I cannot wait to go back that's how much I loved this place!

Our waitress seemed friendly enough as she engaged in conversation with us about our dog and asked if she could have a milk bone and we said . She went and got water for us, which came in a nice bottle, but was then served with two nasty plastic cups that had spots all over them and chips around the rim. It took a while for her to come back around to take our drink order but when she did, we ordered specialty drinks, my husband got the Southern Jam which, after one step I could tell by the look on his face, he was disgusted by it and I got the mocktail Farmer Tan which was spicy and hard on my throat, I guess it was the chipotle. We weren't super hungry so we only ordered appetizers. We got the melting pot fries and the hot shrimp and crab dip. I guess they're trying to be unique by using Chick-fil-A fries because that's exactly what they tasted like and you could barely taste the truffle or the Parmesan. The shrimp and crab dip came out and was a bright orange. It almost looked like it was supposed to be a buffalo dip. We've never seen any type of crab dip like this before. It had absolutely no flavor. We couldn't taste any crab it's only big chunks of shrimp, but again after three servings of it, there was no flavor and it was impossible to wash any of this food down with the nasty drinks. There were three other tables filled while we were outside, and the sun was beaming down. One of the customers got up and tried to turn the fan on with no luck. It didn't work and it seemed like the waitress had disappeared. We didn't see her in a while. I'm finally I had to go to the bar and ask for the check myself once she came out with it. My husband gave her his card and when she came back, we discovered that we had been rung up with someone else's bill, which was $30 more than ours. I then went up to the window again, and the bartender was ringing up somebody else so he couldn't help me and told me that the waitress would fix it. She then came out with the correct receipt, but we still had no evidence of the the wrong charge on our card which my husband checked his account and had already been charged for. So I went back up to the window again and asked for a receipt showing that the credit was made or avoid or something, and the waitress was getting flustered because she didn't know how to do that and had to call someone else over to help her. They said they've avoided the transaction, but couldn't print anything out showing it just said the charge has been made so now we have to monitor our account to make sure that this was indeed credited to us. After having a horrible food experience, and then being charged for the wrong bill, we will never be back here again. Oh and we never got the milk bone for a dog either. UPDATE: I see the owner has responded and I do understand how a bank works because I used to actually work for one. # 1) I have not been calling you. #2) The majority of the review was about the food, drinks and service. Get your facts straight before you do a public unprofessional response. All the more reason to not recommend this business to anyone. The right thing to do would have just been to apologize for the bad experience like any professional business owner which you're clearly not.

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

I reserved the 12 PM Sunday Easter Lunch this year for my family of nine for $890.40, including seven adults and two elementary school children or a total of nine. It was raining quite heavily during our drive down. Luckily when we arrived a little before noon the rain had changed to a light drizzle. Needless to say the weather was not good on Easter Sunday. We parked our vehicle. The atrium was a short walk from the parking lot. When we checked into the atrium entrance we were immediately directed to our table for nine. Luckily they had some coat racks so we could hang our rain gear. The bar was set up outside the pavilion. Six fluted champagne drinks paired with peach, pear and pomegranate were available for $12 each. I enjoyed my two glasses of Roget champagne for $12 each. Complimentary canned carbonated drinks were provided to our two elementary school children. The prime rib was decent, but the lollipop lamb chops were too tough. My other family members also complained about the tough lollipop lamb chops. I only ate one. I enjoyed the snow crab claws the most. My cupcake and small mousse were acceptable. We departed before the next 2 PM lunch reservations arrived. The restrooms are located outside of the atrium up a staircase, which was not convenient. Overall our family of nine and I did not think that this Easter Day lunch was not worth $100 per person excluding alcohol. We will not return here for either Easter or Mother's Day brunch/lunch in the future. Also because of the poor rainy weather an egg hunt was not included. I found another yelper Brandon, who attended the same lunch as my family. Brandon immediately posted a 1 star negative yelp review. Please read it for another customer's perspective of the same event. I found that reviews ranged from 1 to 5 stars so this place is not consistent in ratings. The variation in ratings seems to be due to whether you attended only a conference/housing event or other non-housing event such as Easter Brunch/Lunch. You can judge for yourself by reading all reviews and deciding if you want to visit here for an event. Don't get me wrong, but the natural grounds and pond here are quite nice. That is worth your visit. My review is mainly regarding the Sunday Easter Lunch.
