I went here 2 weeks ago and got the chicken nuggets, fries and a Coke. The chicken nuggets were the best chicken nuggets I've had at any McDonald's. The fries were fresh and amazing and the Coke was on point. I normally hate McDonald's food - it seems to have really gone downhill since I was a kid. The food here, though, reminded me of the quality of the past. Whatever they're doing here is working. read more

We were passing through the area and were hungry. McDonald's was one of a few places available in this area. I ordered the big mac combo and the burger patties were overcooked and super dry. The meat had an off flavor too. This is not what you expect for an overpriced $8.95 combo. The fries were good though, hot and crispy. Flys everywhere, employees are lame and didn't get my order right I don't recommend this place

There was a box of apples next to where you pick your food up that was swarming with flys. Also when we go our meals, our fries where stale, cold, and half full. When attempting to exchange the fries for fresh fies the manger started to argue with us saying "if they where bad you would have not eaten them." Mind you they were half full to begin with and we had eat maybe 5 of them to see if we just happened to get a bad one the first time. All this over fries, it was embarrassing. They also forgot our drink, no napkins or ketchup and were rude from the beginning ... I know to McDonald's but this was intentionally horrible experience. read more

Coming home from Eastern Oregon and stopped by to get 2 cheeseburgers and a large soda. They charged $5.50 and when we went up to the window we said why so much and the lady said "I know". Then she said get the McDouble because it buy one get one free. So we said then you should've told us that before we ordered. Lesson learned never go there if there is no deals. read more

It's a truck stop add on ... with a drive thru which was awesome because there was NO parking in the lot ... FULL!! Is it my imagination ... or has McDonald's food gotten smaller and prices higher?? I RARELY eat fast food of any kind ... but I was a bit HUNG OVER and needed a Filet-o-Fish, fries, and a sweet tea PRONTO. Both hot items were just that - HOT!! a pleasant surprise from what I expected. You will have to ask for any condiments (i.e., Ketchup & Salt) ... you will NOT automatically get that in your bag of food. It was fast, it was edible, and it was overpriced for the quantity. Terrible service, everyone seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. I ordered a quarter pounder meal that consisted of cold fries, a burger patty that looked like it had been cut in half and sloppily thrown on a bun, not sure why I was creeped out by two halves of a patty but it just didn't seem right. Worst was the soda fountain, the Diet Coke dispenser filled my cup with something tasted like a mixture of all the different sodas on the machine. I came in early evening. Got the Quarter pounder club and strawberry cheesecake. It wasn't bad. Expensive and surprised because I thought club was larger. Pies were good. I try not to order the standard quarter pounder or Big Mac because I think it is possible they save them in their little silver trays in warmers for several hours. Yuk! Cashier was very friendly. While ordering food, flies were flying around my face. I just got out of shower room, so don't think it was me. Got my drink and sat down. Noticed flies all over the wall. Looked up and flies all over the ceiling and eating area. Disgusting. They need to do something about the fly problem. I still come here every so often. I noticed they remodeled. We met up with are friend and went through the drive through we had to wait in the drive through for about 10 min, then after we got are food both me and the friend had to come in there for napkins and sauce. The food was horrible and we got a 20 pack of chicken nuggets,water,2 chicken sandwich's and they had a lot of mayo in it,and a large coke,and fries the fries were cold and hard like they have been sitting out or something and then we were on the way back home. After we got home i felt nauseous and had a headache and felt cold and had diarrhea. The next day my sister puked three times and had a fever and diarrhea and had really bad cramps and felt nauseous. Then Dad went to work in the morning and started to feel cold, nauseous, and had diarrhea. We all had diarrhea that day and felt nauseous including are friend or my moms best friend and her boyfriend felt all the same way as us that day. I know many people feel I should not eat Fast food, but on this occasion I was quite hungry. My hunger outspoke my good sense and I stopped at the McDonalds on the way home. This is the only drivethru within miles of where I work. I had just worked an eleven hour day and decided to treat myself to McDonalds because I was hungry. I decided to have a sweet chilli chicken wrap with grilled chicken. It was an item I had before at another McDonalds and enjoyed a lot. It felt healthier than a burger. This location is called Biggs Junction because it is at the junction of two major highways and a bridge across the Columbia River, the boarder between Oregon and Washington. I ordered my food and was given it in a normal amount of time with the same service I expect from McDonalds friendly service with at least a small sense of urgency and importance given to my order. I got my food and set it to the side to make my way toward the freeway knowing I would have several waits before the freeway. During these stops I got my straw in my drink, zipped the top off the carton using the tab designed to make this easy to eat. I noticed immediately that the wrap was wrong ways in so I attempted to turn it around and noticed the wrap part of the wrap was torn and oozed on me, but I had napkins and I got the job done and ready but didn't have time to even take the first bite before I had to get on the freeway. There is construction in that area so I had to wait until the traffic cleared and settled before I took a bite. When I bit into the wrap I was astonished to find the delicate combination of sweet chilli sauce, tender chicken and fresh crisp cucumbers had been replaced with ROT, I wretched involuntarily the instant the squishy compost inflicted its flavor on my unsuspecting mouth. I had to pull over on I-84 to spit the filth out on the highway. I then dissect the repugnant trash. I found not one but three separate, not soft, not simply past prime, but GOOEY ROTTEN cucumber slices. This was not simply someone tossing mix on my food that had a bad cucumber in it. It was a fellow person taking rotting compost from a bin separating it and placing it on an order for a customer, who he had never met, had nothing against, but knowingly decided to try to poison. I do not expect a refund, or want free filth from this restaurant. I want the person who thinks it is okay to inflict this on another person to be educated in the sternest fashion possible, that food preparation is an art which done well can make another persons evening wonderful, but done improperly send someone to the ER to have their agonizing stomach pumped. This happened 6:30pm 9-4-2014 at the Biggs Junction McDonalds drive through. I know many people think that people who eat at McDonalds are pigs... But none of us who eats their occasionally or even often, wants or deserves to be fed like livestock. read more

Worst McDonalds I have ever been too! Staff and Manager were RUDE!! We ordered 3 meals plus a kids meal. One meal was upgraded to a Frappe so I wasnt expecting 4 cups just 3. First off after 5 mins of waiting for food I had to ask for our cups then She only gave me 2 cups. She argued with me that I only had 2 coming. I showed her tbe reciept and she still argued, and then relectantly gave me the 3rd one. Food was absolutely discusting... of course we dont expect fine dining when it comes to fast food.. but we were not able to eat it. With 3 large meals and a happy meal I was expecting more then 2 Ketchup packets when we asked, but nope then was treated like we were asking for gold. It was crazy!!! read more

There were flies everywhere, the ground was very dirty, the fries were very salty and thin, and plus the soda machine there either has a lot of flavor or its just at a point were it's just dyed water. The flies were EVERYWHERE and if I mean everywhere it's everywhere. The double cheeseburger didn't meet a lot of expectation but at least it's still food... Typical McDonald's food. Friendly cashier. Food came fast but fries were covered in so much salt that it was almost unbearable to eat them. Flies everywhere. That's the last thing I want around me while I'm eating... Need to fix that problem please. The menu here is VERY annoying. It changes every second to a different screen. Parking here is horrible. This is what I call a take-it-or-leave-it McDonalds. You have to put up with poor service and bad attitude whether you like it or not. The Columbia Gorge locations are basically an hour apart. When you make a stop you're stuck with what you got. This McDonald's is located at a truck stop. Tourists, passers-by and truck drivers all have to get something to eat, or not. Across the street is another truck stop with a sit-down restaurant and a Subway. No different than this McDonald's it has a take-it-or-leave-it attitude also. Lacksadaisical cashiers and servers are the norm. The managers flirt with the girls. The teenagers chat and gossip amongst themselves while ignoring you. In this case with no local competition in fact no competition within 30 plus miles you have no choice and these people know it. Of course the owners want a profit so they expect sales. But customer service is not a concern to them as long as the money rolls in. My advice is use the restroom if necessary and keep on going. Vote with your wallet. read more
