I came to order inside, the girl at the front had a massive attitude and was slamming her hands on the counter and giving my husband the nastiest look as he was ordering so we walked out. I then called the store while outside and told her she was a bitch and to fix her attitude, and then the manager proceeded to CALL MY PHONE BACK and escalate the situation by laughing and talking shit rather then either leaving the situation alone or calling and deescalating, so I went back in the building and bitched her out because she wanted to call my phone and start escalating the situation, and she thought it was funny so I asked for the general manager and she claimed the general manager was in the building but yet nobody came out ? and she wouldn't go get this so called general manager leading me to believe she was bullshitting. This place is unprofessional and I will be in contact with the district manager or I will climb the chain of command until this girls job is gone. You NEVER intentionally escalate a situation as a manager or even an employee. You correct the employee who pissed the customer off in the first place. read more

We ordered 2 cups of ice water through the drive thru, after ordering the guy taking our order didn't say a price just said okay and to pull up to the next window. When we got to the window he said the total was $1.27, the tap to pay was broken, so we found a dollar and a quarter handed it to him and he goes you still owe 2cents so we dug through the car and didn't have any Pennie's so we have another quarter. He didn't give us any change back which we should of got 23 cents back!! I'm not going to throw a fit over a few cents but to the guy at the drive through if your going to nag about 2 cents make sure to give the people their change back afterwards!! Waited 45 minutes for 2 hashbrowns and 2 burritos, it wasn't even busy. when I finally received them the burritos were HARDER THAN A ROCK. I mean you could hit it with a bat and score a home run with these things. And somehow the hashbrowns were undercooked. Do better take some pride in yourselves. People always driving away from the drive thru because the people inside don't know how to use a computer efficiently, it's like they took all the kids from special needs classes and put them into this specific restaurant. Fourteen minutes for one cheeseburger. Six of those minutes were spent standing 2nd in line at the only "open" register ... that the staff was obviously trying to ignore. Four more people behind me. Seems that they are ignoring the register line, trying to provoke us to use the self-order kiosks. The woman ahead of me was a dine-in customer that had been shorted three fries and three drinks for her family of three. When it was my turn, their usual up-sell schtik began. Somehow the register goon decided that, "one cheeseburger, just a cheeseburger" somehow meant their "meal" offering, and with an upgrade to jumbo fries and jumbo drink. But no, he can unwind the not-requested upsell without calling for and waiting for a manager to override their attempted theft. read more

I am sure anything in a bag through a window doesn't rate with our trainer but when I am hungry and you can drive through quite quickly this place is a good go to. Drive through efficient and polite. I like that you don't get told to pull over and park because they usually have most menu items ready to go. My therapy dog, kona and I stop here when out doing visits to friends. I always thought customer service was first and foremost at McDonald's, except the location on airport and highland road. The employee lied about his name and position, first he said he was a manager then he said there are no mangers present, and he was just an employee, which I found odd. Not only was he rude and abrasive he was condescending. Sadly this isn't the first time I heard complaints about this location and I won't be back and I absolutely will not recommend this place. The place looks neat as there is Harley Davidson stuff everywhere and "McBiker" stickers on the door showing their support through the years. That's where this positive McDonalds experience ended... The workers look like they've been through the wringer! Exhausted and pushed to their mental McLimit I ordered two coffees off the menu, nothing Starbucks complicated and then proceeded to wait for 10 minutes while the people behind me that ordered food got their orders. Nobody came to say "hey it's coming right up" or "we are having an issue with the coffee machine" or whatever the issue was to let me know that I wasn't forgotten about. After a couple of more minutes I walk over to the area where they make the coffee and see two ladies basically staring at the machine as if they were pushed into doing an impromptu brain surgery with no formal medical training. It was at this point that I decided to go to the Speedway on the corner and get something to get my blood pumping for the day. Got a refund at this McDonalds and I won't be back. Ok, really? It's McDonald's!! BUT this location is by far the worst in the Waterford Area!! Thankfully, if I'm in the mood for Mickey D's - there are 2 others within a equal driving distance. If your looking for those classic delicious fries.... this is NOT the place to go. I have not had a decent fry from this location in over 2 years!!! ALWAYS overcooked and the grease tastes like it hasn't been changed in forever. If you "special" order anything... check it before you pull out!! This is the slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. On more than one occasion they have had to close due to lack of staff. When they are open it can take more than 15 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich and black coffee. I have stopped going here and discovered Taco Bell breakfast. Much better and faster. read more

My husband and I went into this McDonald's today for a quick and early lunch. It was not quiet 11 am and we ordered 2 drinks, 2 mcdoubles and a fry. It literally took 15 min for us to get our food. There were 2 other gentlemen waiting for their orders as well and one simply asked if everything was ok because it was taking so long. The girl behind the counter got a huge attitude and started yelling back to the cooks saying "this guy wants to know how much longer!" The owner Nancy (I believe her name is) yells back "it takes 42 seconds once it's on the grill and we are putting it on the grill in 10 seconds!" Still doesn't explain why we all were standing there for 15 minutes waiting?! Then the owner starts yelling at the workers and yelling them to "figure it out" when they ask a question. There were only 2 employees in their with good attitudes, the rest you could tell were not having a good day. Between rude cashiers who won't check for promos even though they are listed on the sign out front(whole different story), cold fries, and the amount of times they have messed up my order, I am done going to this McDonald's. Today I tried to stupidly go there for 3 double cheeseburgers and a 20 piece nugget (literally my entire order) There was a 10 minute wait for my food (the car behind me started honking obnoxiously) and they never gave me my card back. I called up there after dropping the food off to my family and had to call several times before someone even answered. I got ahold of someone and she literally laughed when I told her they had my card. I show up to get my card back from them and the manager rolls her eyes at me and has the nerve to say "what's the name on the card?" Seriously?
