When I went to this non fine establishment I asked for a qpc and all I asked for was the cheese on it and they ended up putting all the toppings and this really pushed my buttons. The store was also very dirty and the employees started cussing me out. Then I went to take a poop in the bathroom and there was a guy smoking weed in there and he asked me for some. Very terrible establishment would never g

So I wanted a nice lil afternoon micky ds right, so I come in and I get hit with wind with the aroma of goose shit. So, through the smell I get to the kiosk, and it's smashed in. So I then order, and apparently the level 1s work on Sunday afternoons bc my one burger took 15 mins. I then discover that there is only one pattey on the double burger. Never will be back!

I ordered a large fry with my meal and it was about 2/3 filled. This has happened numerous times too. It is theft, I rounded up to donate too knowing that they use my donation for a tax write off. To make it worse the fries were cold too and this was around noon on a Thursday. No excuse for this !

Modern is cool... but still seems slow AF

The new McDonalds interiors are cool AF. This one has an area with coffee tables and an electric fireplace. Too bad the wifi is sketch and the service seems slow as heck. Seriously.. Should an order of medium fries take more than 2 minutes? I can literally see 3 sitting on the Rack by the bin.

Heading further in, you'll find the ordering counter, and you can even catch a glimpse of coffee beans being roasted, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. They offer both a seasonal menu and a straightforward regular menu, making it easy to find something you like. Overall, the environment felt calm and laid-back. The staff were more on the quiet side personally, I'm used to more outgoing baristas, but that's just a matter of preference.

The building looks like it was converted from a church, and the back seating area has some high stained glass windows. In the middle of the cafe is a narrow hallway/corridor where the supply closet and the single stall bathroom is, so it segments the cafe into two areas, connected by this hallway in the center. The design feels very clearly like a remnant of an old historic building, and a brick alleyway runs along one side. In the space/room where you order (walking through the seating area and through the hallway), it opens up with huge windows and a huge industrial coffee grinder on full display. There's another counter to order, with a few pastry options, and along another side wall, a rack of F&H clothes for purchase and the drink menus. (The aesthetic reminded me of Blue Bottle.) I ordered an iced Whiskey Vanilla Latte with oak milk and it was good! I couldn't taste any whiskey at all, and when I ordered the barista had mentioned this (cooked off so you wouldn't taste it) so it was a decent vanilla latte. I'll give them props for a really cool unique flavor. We all grabbed our drinks and headed (back through the hallway) into the other room with the seating area. There is a small section with a couch, otherwise lots of tables and chairs and I was glad it wasn't too crowded so we were able to grab a table. This was a great spot to grab coffee and meet up with friends. It's in a neat little downtown area in Wheaton, and they offer creative coffee drinks, with beans and merch to purchase.

When I approached the counter no one acknowledged me so I said hi and an employee said hello back but didn't offer to take my order, so I assumed I needed to order at the tablet which is located before the seating and counter area. While placing my order, multiple people walked past me and ordered at the counter, so that was a little confusing. Those people were eating inside, though, so I thought maybe you need to use the tablet for take-out and order at the counter for eating in. To be honest, I'm still not sure. I assume if a person approaches the counter the employee should do more than just say hello and keep working, especially when I had to say it first, so that was a bit off-putting. I had perused their menu before my trip and wanted to try the breakfast pizza but when I saw it in person it looked old and dry so I decided to try the rice crispy treat instead. Well, it was so hard I had to microwave it when I got home just to be able to eat it. While it didn't taste stale, I don't think you should serve a rock hard rice crispy to someone and ask $4.50 to boot. All that said, the iced latte I ordered was exceptionally good, so I kept that in mind for the future. A few days ago I went back and ordered the same exact latte (via their app this time), just in a larger size. It tasted nothing like the one in January. Not only that, but after taking a sip and inquiring about getting some packets of sugar, I was told there were some around the corner from the counter. All I saw was fake sugar in packets and Sugar In The Raw in an open container with a spoon. Maybe I missed where the regular sugar was, I don't know. The whole area felt really disorganized and dirty which was a turn-off. For what they charge I expect fresher food and a consistent drink experience. I want to support small businesses but this place makes that hard. I won't be back.

OMG OMG... Get the Ube filled brioche donut!…read more I've been to several Tous Les Jours and this location is hands down my favorite. It's fairly large with several indoor spots to sit and stay awhile. The staff members were so nice!! I recommend coming earlier in the day to try and take advantage of everything being stocked. I came in on a Friday around 430pm and although the options were slim, I was able to get a few delicious items. Back to the Ube donut. UGH!! FULLY filled that I spilled so much of it on myself when I took the first bite. Worth it haha. The Ube actually tastes like Ube. AH! I cannot rave enough about how good this was. It was creamy, sweet but not overly sweet and so frickin delicious. The dough of the donut itself was perrrrrrf too. I actually came back the following day and got another 2 Ube donuts haha. I also got a red bean donut, a slice of the strawberry cloud cake a slice of the chocolate cloud cake and the soufflé cheesecake. I normally like red bean but I think bc the Ube donut was so good, it was impossible to compete with. The strawberry (and chocolate) cloud cakes were fluffy and not overly sweet. I had them the day after I bought it and both were still moist.

The Ube latte was almost 7 dollars and it was literally all milk with zero Ube flavor at all, it was the most disappointing Ube latte we've ever had. The iced ginger looked like the Korean ginger tea jars they sell at H-Mart, nothing fancy. The name of the bakery sounds fancy because it's in French and there are locations all over Illinois. They sell French and Korean infused pastries and cakes that are a bit pricier than most. I think they should at least have nice boxes to put the pastries in rather than wrapping it up in plastic and stuffing it in a plastic bag. There weren't many options and service was eh. The lady who rang us up wasn't very friendly and ignored my husband a few times.

I ended up getting a karak chai and a gulab jamun cheese cake to go for $15 including $2 tip. The chai was too hot to drink right away but I kept sneaking tiny sips until it cooled off. It wasn't great, but I thought it would be better once I could get a good swallow of it. Wrong. The tea was extremely bitter (a sign of over-boiling or using too much tea leaves) and I wasn't able to discern any spices. I tried to doctor it up once I got home, but nothing helped so it went down the drain. Blech. The cheese cake should have been delicious, but it was drying out from sitting in the case too long. It was very stiff, and the outside was turning to plastic. (Not literally, but it looked and felt like it.) I didn't finish that either.
