They screwed up my order I asked for ketchup only on my hamburger and they put mostly everything they got my drink, right and my fries but they screwed up my hamburger why do they not write it down on a piece of paper? Worst fast food service in history, lobby was closed at 8pm. Went to drive through to order a McFlurry and to no surprise they had no ice cream left. Ordered 2 McChickens and it took 30mins. They are never open past 10:30ish everyday. They close whenever they want. Franchised by Youngblood, the owner needs to close this location down. Fries are never hot, or way too salty and are given to you half full. Buns look like a mouse been eating away at it. This McDonald's is as bad as the one on 4th over the Westside. I have no idea what happened to this location since new management took over a few years ago (off topic the Claymont one too, which I found out is the same owner). The service is just horrible, super slow rude, and not educated on the items they offer. I've waited in the drive through for over 30 mins at least 20 times at this location. You also always hear people yelling, laughing, or load music blasting in the back ground of the people taking your order. And the food isn't even warm half the time, sodas not filled, and the smothie, ice cream, and fraps seems to be always broken. Was also told tonight that they don't sell buttermilk tenders after 10pm. Which I get all the time after 10pm lol. Sadly I would have to drive more than 20 mins away to go to the kirkwood highway location Which seems to be the best in the Wilmington area since it's corporate owned and not franchises. Sad to say I think I'm giving up and checkers will have my business for a while since it right next door to this location. read more

Don't ever come to this establishment. After slow service followed by a messed up order, I called the store four times to have my situation rectified . Each time I was hung up on, on the premise I was being put on hold. The last time I called (same girl answering the phone I asked for her a name and asked if she was a manager, she never told. Me her name but put the phone down again after sucking her teeth then gave it to a by the name of Belinda. Belinda not only answered the phone with a nasty tone but after asking her what her name was replied with a who is this? Customer service at its finest. Its not who is this, it's how may I help you. I just said thank you and hung up. To have an establishment that is not only slow, inaccurate and lacking in any sense of organization, but on top of that have nasty management who are not trained in basic professional phone etiquette. I wouldn't eat at this McDonald's even if it was the last one open in the state of Delaware . First off, the drive through line is constantly wrapped around the building & your estimated wait time is at least 30 mins . I just ordered a 10 piece spicy nugget meal with ranch and bbq sauce & then a mcChicken ... The fries are so stale they taste like cardboard ... they forgot my mcChicken.. and when I told them they forgot it they said "it's already in the bag" but they didn't even add it onto my order (I looked at my receipt to make sure I wasn't in the wrong). They asked me what sauces I wanted and didn't put the sauces in the bag... and gave me 10 plain nuggets . So , not only did my fries taste like they were leftovers from yesterday, I now get to eat my very dry chicken nuggets with no sauce :) the amount of mayo on my McChicken after they finally gave it to me , looks like I could paint an entire wall with it . There's more mayo than there is chicken . Isn't mcDonalds targeted toward making people happy ? I just visited this establishment about an hour ago now. Where do I start..... The worst service ever. The staff was completely lost and backed up. As people came waking in the door, they were in the back looking at each other, arguing quietly or so they thought. My order was simple, chicken nuggets for me and my daughter, large meal for me and a 4 piece meal for her. Took us at least 20-25 minutes just to get our meals. They completely forgot about our drinks and my ice cream. Oh did I mention the other upset customers were also dissatisfied. One customer began cursing and then all of a sudden her order jumped everybody that came in before her. So then there was a young man, he said he was the manager and he sat back and watched his team struggle. Then when someone asked who's the manager, he springs into action. I haven't been to McDonald's in about 6 months because of bad experiences (cold food, long waits, poor customer service). I thought I might give it another try since I was craving a hot quarter pounder. It was 10:40am so I thought lunch had just started again (maybe it's changed). I decided to get the double quarter pounder, drove 3 mins to my house and immediately had to microwave my burger... I mean no normal human being eats food that's that cold.
