Had plexiglass dividers between customers and workers. We were really hungry but we decided to pass and find another place to eat. We could not get over the odor, the plexiglass containment and the general appearance of the location.

Wife had the fish and chips and said it was great! Wait staff was prompt and polite. Atmosphere was laid back with a bar inside and an outdoor patio for those comfortable Ohio evenings. Would recommend to anyone and will return when near Wilmington.

Inside decor is simple and traditional to a roadside diner but tasteful and clean .

It's a big restaurant with a lot of seating, so even when it looks crowded (we've had to park a street away sometimes), the wait is never long. The decor is well done on the inside, but we especially love the patio which is enclosed from all sides. We absolutely love Fiesta Veracruz and can't wait to go back every week. Ole!

She was dressed differently than the other employees. I didn't catch the name on her name tag, but the name on the recipe said "Alex". She said they were short staffed so she was helping make food in between taking orders, which was completely understandable. It's a good thing I stood up there to wait on my food as I was able to watch her make my order. This woman, after handling money, started making my wrap without gloves and without washing her hands. She was also on her phone, while making my wrap, touching the screen, etc. At one point, she dropped her phone on the dirty floor, picked it up and continued making my wrap. Having worked in fast food, and also having common sense, I knew that was extremely unsanitary; a complete health code violation. Since they were so busy and I was unable to wave her down, I sat down and waited until the rush died down to let them know I either wanted a refund or a new wrap. They threw the old wrap away and made me a new one which I greatly appreciated. My main point here is that I would have eaten that dirty wrap if I had not stood up there to watch her make it. Also, I imagine several other people sitting around me were most likely eating dirty food without knowing it. This is exactly how people get sick!

Even grilled the hot dog was average at best. I am glad I don't have a reason to try this again. It replaced a regional chain that went out of business, but is a very big step down from it.
