McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Woodbridge, Ontario

I am a regular customer at the McDonald's location at 4535 Highway 7 in Pine Valley, and unfortunately, I have experienced multiple issues with incorrect drive-through orders over time. Since I visit frequently and often order the same items, many staff members already recognize my order. While mistakes can happen occasionally, today's experience on May 6 was completely unacceptable. After receiving another wrong order, I called the store to address the issue respectfully. Instead of listening professionally and trying to resolve the matter, the employee on the phone stated that he "could not understand my accent," which I found highly offensive, discriminatory, and completely inappropriate in a customer service environment. I am a university graduate and a senior manager of a large corporation, and I found this comment ignorant, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Canada is a diverse country, and no customer should ever be spoken to this way because of an accent. Customer service staff should be trained to communicate respectfully and avoid insulting customers. To make matters worse, I clearly read the order directly from the bill, and the employee still did not even seem to understand the products on the menu himself. Rather than taking responsibility for the repeated mistakes, he chose to be dismissive and disrespectful. Management needs to address this employee's professionalism and behavior. My rating is 3.5 stars. After seeing a concert at Casino Rama, I was driving back down to my hotel and needed a bite to eat. I didn't have a formal dinner, but I needed a light bite to eat at nearly midnight. I spotted this McDonald's drive-thru and drove right in. The drive-thru is conveniently open 24 hours a day. Everything is bright here. You can even see the PlayPlace far away. Business was fairly swift at this hour. A couple of cars were ahead of me. I ordered a sausage and egg McMuffin and poutine. I had beverages back at my hotel room, so I skipped getting a fountain drink. The wait was a good seven minutes. I wasn't in a rush, although I was getting hungry. I paid using my debit card. The man at the drive-thru was nice and friendly. I got my food, thanked him, and kept on driving. I chowed down at the hotel. Sadly, my sausage and egg McMuffin was burnt around the edges. I spent a good minute ripping out all the burnt edges. How nice! Once that was done, my sausage and egg McMuffin was delicious. I am enjoying the ritual of ordering poutine late at night. You can't go wrong with gravy, cheese curds, and fries at midnight. Yum! If it weren't for my burnt sausage and egg McMuffin, my rating would be much higher. Otherwise, it's a decent McD's. In the spirit of Joanne L.'s Shout-Out in Ayad F.'s "Places everyone in Toronto / GTA should review," thought I'd add this review for a fast food place that is visited by most of us, yet only few tend to review them. So of course McD's is the quintessential fast food joint that everyone visits, and sure enough, not many reviews here for this location. It has been living in this neighbourhood longer than I have, which is to say, (*cough*), more than 10 years. I usually come here in the evenings and on weekends, and the difference in service, which you might expect, is better during the weekdays. What's remarkable is how much better it is on the weekdays. Sure, part-time students aren't going to care/try as much, but the full-time staff make a weekday visit something out of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood - the manager on duty walks the floor and greets customers as they come in, and it becomes evident when you hear her greet the regulars by name (and they reciprocate) that there is a real local connection. It's relatively clean (noticeably less so in the area directly adjacent to the PlayPlace) and has kept up with a recent renovation for the McCafe line, although the tiny little fireplace with few tables and no full-size comfy chairs leave that section with something to be desired. My biggest beef with this location is the amazingly consistent poor service when it comes to getting a McCafe beverage for dine-in. No matter how often I've come in to stay for it, no matter what recent visit in the last like year or more, it is unbelievable how these items seem to be positively dreaded to make by the staff. It's as if they all avoid going over to the cafe machines as long as they can, like some kind of competition, before someone finally shuffles over to make the overdue order on the screen finally go away. I usually hear a complaint about "I had to change the milk bag" in response to the odd management inquiry about what's happening with the McCafe order. This McDonald's location has very fast service, and is always clean. You might ask, why am I reviewing a McDonald's? Aren't they all the same? Not always. This one is much cleaner, and I'm really happy with the speed of the drive-thru. Often there could be 10 cars lined up, and even if I'm just stopping to get a soda, they're fast enough that I don't even need to go inside. I just stay in the Drive-Thru and the service is that quick. Staff is friendly, they always have enough people working. Thanks for keeping this location great. read more

Do not bother going here!!! The most ignorant, rude, disgusting attitude employees. I ordered two chicken nugget meals and was expected to have one bbq sauce, for both meals! When she'd got a second one they refused to give me a second sauce unless I paid for it!!! So I guess one sauce is meant to be split in half for a ten piece meal and a six piece. Unreal. And the worst is that they couldn't understand why I was upset they were trying to charge me more! And to top it off they had disgusting attitudes and were so rude and treated me like it was unheard of to expect what every single other McDonald's automatically gives you. This McDonald's was the only one in the area 10+ years ago and I remember going there for birthdays etc. So nostalgic! The people that work there (especially the morning and day crew) are so incredibly friendly. They renovated and it looks great inside. McDonald's doesn't really need reviews- people will go regardless. I have to say that this particular location is fairly clean and they have a great spot for kids to play. read more

I've never had any problems with this McDonald's location. Sure I remember coming here as a kid and enjoying the Play Place (which was just slides and crawl spaces) but it hasn't changed that much. The staff has changed completely from what I remember, switching to a younger demographic. From an ordering standpoint there is a difference when comparing evening to midnight, but that's expected. I've never gotten an incorrect order and the quality is that I expect from a McDonalds. I've had much much worse believe me! I usually order Big Mac meals and they're made pretty well. Never falls apart when eating and enough ingredients to fill the burger. This location had adopted the new mobile ordering system pretty well; I've tried pick up and ordering through the kiosk with table service without issue. read more

If a zero review was available I would have chose it. This place was good 15 years ago but when I came today it was a dirty filthy place that you should never bring your kids. Needs maintenance, walls and windows full of I don't know what and the food was terrible. Older McDonald's I would definitely would not recommend. read more

After waiting more than a 20 min at the window after already paying, I received my order. I assumed after waiting so long my order would be good. After driving Away I checked and was missing one item and when I opened my Mcchicken , it had habanero sauce Instead of the regular sauce. I couldn't eat it because I don't eat spicy food. I wanted to go into the store but it's closed for walk ins and the lineup was around the building for drive through to complain. It would have taken another hour to get my order.My son received honey as his dipping sauce instead of a sweet and sour, and both my kids received outdated happy meal toys.My kids were very disappointed, and so was I. To top it all off, one of the servers behind the window was wearing her mask incorrectly under their nose. I have never written a review before, but this time.. I had to!!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This Mcdonalds will not accept coupons or promotions is shown on a device, or seemingly do not understand how to input coupon codes unless they're paper. This happened twice on separate occasions and only resolved when speaking with a manager. The only Mcdonalds in the area who does this! read more
