Ordered some delivery today for lunch, it wasn't bad at all, but it isn't great either. Ai'm not a fan of restaurants that just dump everything on a plate on top of everything..sauces on top of meat and chicken on top of pickles and turnips on top of salad...all of that sitting on a bed of rice! Come-on! You can either buy a better container, or split this whole tsunami of items into two plates! The container is a very cheap foil plate, and onion rings come in a small card-board plate, the one you get at carnivals! Too cheap of presentation for the price! Also, There was a MAJOR onion overdose on the plate!

Falafel rice bowl with hummus ($0.25 extra) $10.

We checked out the reviews for this place before heading over there for a quick meal. I ordered two falafels in a wrap and a falafel bowl with rice. I was very impressed with the wraps, they were crunchy on the outside, and filled with delicious ingredients on the inside (standard filling, lettuce, tomato, hummus...), the falafel itself was where the magic was in this meal. It was crunchy on the outside with a flavour packed Center. The bowl on the other hand, I wasn't impressed with, and really disliked the rice, it had a strange flavour and there wasn't enough sauce or topping, I felt like there was just too much rice... they also have a lettuce bowl that I think we might grab next time. The staff were very nice, and I would probably go back to grab some more falafel wraps, and try some of the other stuff Becuase it all looked really nice when they were being made.

I ordered two chicken shawarma poutine ($5.45 - base poutine) and an additional ($4.45) to add chicken shawarma, you could get it on fries or rice. Cost $10 for each I guess. For what it was priced, it was underwhelming but definitely a place for a late night stop and eat. The fries tasted like Costco food court fries, and the chicken shawarma was hot off the pan and savoury. The flavour is more enhanced than other chicken shawarma joints (i.e. Pitaland). My only concern was that there was perhaps a little too much salt that was added. It was definitely filling and had to push myself to finish it, I'm a man who likes big portions and this was definitely big in my opinion. I'd only come back if I was in the area, wouldnt go out of my way to come here.

I always stop by this restaurant whenever I'm passing by. Today I got two chicken shawarmas for 8.85$. Wow. What a steal. . I find the taste amazing. They always ask what exactly you want in the shawarmas. I'll be back again for sure.

Counter service was friendly too. Ordered their signature Mustang Sally again, an impressive double cheeseburger stacked with beef bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and crispy onion rings. The hand-pressed prime beef patty was clearly freshly ground with decent amount of salt & pepper. It was also drizzled in plenty of house white sauce to chowdown. One of the better burgers I've had recently, and good value these days at $15.99. We also had the cheeseburgers with hand cut fries. The restaurant was not very busy on Friday evening. I wanted to sample a good representation of what they have to offer, so I ordered the Mustang Sally ($15.99) and made it a combo for an additional ($5.99). The order came out in a metal tray to keep everything together and makes it easier to clean up after. Though it was greasy, like expected, I still did enjoy the burger. It was a tall burger with a wooden stick that went through it to keep it standing vertical. What was subpar was the fries that came with the combo. It was one of the more dull tasting fries I can remember having at quick serve restaurants. It was not at all crisp, flavourful, or crunchy. The fries were bland, so I had to tear up a lot of condiment sachets available near the front counter.

The lamb skewers ($9.99 for 4) were marinated very well, with perfect flavouring. It brought back a lot of childhood memories immediately. This is definitely my No. 1 go-to place for lamb skewers in future! Overall, I was very satisfied with the two dishes I've tried and they were having great value for money too. The chef is clearly having solid cooking fundamentals in Northwestern Chinese streed food. I strongly recommend this restaurant and will definitely revisit to try other dishes in future.

The canto chow mein had everything: crispy noodles, umami sauce, assorted seafood, chicken, beef, and veg. The dried chili chicken was super crispy with a nice kick and the meat inside was so juicy. The crispy ginger beef was surprisingly better than we expected. It was crispy and tasted sweet which was so nicely balanced. Chili shrimp in the gravy was good but it was more gravy and not enough shrimp that I wouldn't reccomend this one, lol. Hakka chicken chow mein was just okay for us. The dish size and portions are pretty small. Each dish portion is enough only for just one person, but thankfully we just ordered enough to share and satisfy us. They gave us the take out menu to order from that was just a generic list of all their dishes. There were no descriptions or pictures for what's in each dish, which made it difficult for my in-laws to know what to order. The pakora was our fave dish, but had my BIL not ordered that, none us would have thought to order it simply cause we didn't know what it was.
