Personally I haven't eaten at McDonald's in years for various reasons but recently my Granddaughter wanted to go there for food so Fifth Avenue was in route. Of course she wanted nuggets and my Son and I ordered the Quarter Pounder combo and we headed to East to their house to eat. The burgers were sloppily made and my son bit into his burger, and found that it wasn't throughly cooked and the meat was red on the inside. I was so upset that I went back and asked for the manager and was told she wasn't available by 2 employees so I asked for the supervisor and she sent another employee out to assess the situation. This woman returned to the back saying that the burgers weren't done and attempted to replace our order with another order, when I clearly stated that I wanted my money back. When I realized what she was doing I again stated that I wanted cash and that's when the real supervisor came back up and gave me most of my money back, less than what 2 QP's cost. I took the money and left because my Son almost immediately got sick after seeing the uncooked burger and threw up all the way back home. First of all, the woman who originally waited on us was the boss and saw us coming back. Her attitude was not good upon our arrival. Secondly she sent someone else to absolve the situation and thirdly she cheated me and never even apologized for THEIR NEGLIGENCE AND THEIR UNPROFESSIONALISM, not to mention the inconvenience and loss of time and my gas . I just wanted to share about this on this forum because had we been recording what happened it would've went viral. If you're not a PR person then don't work with people. If you want business then do your job the best you can. There is literally one thing I go to McDonalds for religiously: Filet-o-fish sandwiches. In 6 years of working in the neighborhood, I have yet to receive a properly-made filet-o-fish at 5th Ave McDonalds. The description of the sandwich straight from the website is: "Our fish sandwich recipe features a crispy fish filet patty on melty American cheese and is topped with creamy McDonald's tartar sauce, all served on a soft, steamed bun." Every time I order this sandwich at this location, it is served to me on a toasted bun. When I ask them to correct it, at best I get a non-toasted but also non-steamed bun. I suspect that whatever equipment is used to steam the buns is is broken and the owner is choosing to not repair it. This is unacceptable. This used to be the best McDonald's in the Youngstown area. Since the revamp it went downhill like the rest of them. Food is always late, rude staff, they don't give you as much food for the same price, and no one knows how to work the order machines inside. I boycotted this franchise months ago. We came here for breakfast! The staff was amazing and super helpful. It is newly remodeled. The one worker was even scrubbing the dining area on his hands and knees. Clean!!! I would recommend this McDonald's. I'm not sure how they earned any 1 stars..this is a 5 Star McDonald's!! read more

Is it possible to give negative-starred reviews?? This McDonalds is a shit show at any given point in the day. And I'm not gonna front like I'm too good for McDonalds...McDonalds can be pretty rad and just what you need sometimes. I occasionally stop here on my way to work (pretty early in the morning) for coffee, but much less now than when I first moved...it's hardly ever worth the buzz. Coffee is mediocre, but half the time they don't have it...or any other menu item you might want. (What kind of place isn't always brewing coffee??? It's the morning and your coffee is $1. Fucking make some.) If they have what you want, you'll probably have to wait 20 minutes for it whether you're in-store or going through the drive through. I have literally waited 20 minutes for a cup of water and a coffee, trapped in the time matrix after they've taken my money and disappear for the next eternity. Just bad. It's all bad. It will never not be bad. Stay away if possible. read more

McDonald's is one of least favorite fast food place there serves is terrible there and very slow sometimes. Some time there work are very rude. I don't eat here anymore at all. also don't get me stared one there ice cream machine ' SORRY YOUR ICE CREAM MACHINE IS DOWN" how many times have people heard this and it's not just this one all most all of them. The only thing good at this place is there fries when there hot and fresh and there ice cream when there machine it not down. Also there coffee is not the best so go to Starbucks or ducking donuts or another place. If you go in there this machine that you can to order your food and don't got to talk to no one. This is just my opinion and if u speak different that you opinion.
