The saddest salad I have ever seen, I thought I was going to get homemade Greek dressing but it was packaged Greek dressing. My salad had no Kalamata olives, 3 slices of tomato's, 3 slices of cucumbers, onions feta and 2 pepperonici. I took out the onions but it's majority lettuce. I won't be getting food from here again! The address isn't correct! Their new temporary location is 4500 Mahoning Ave, Austintown; upstairs, side entrance. Take out only. We ordered an eight piece chicken and an eight piece Texas potatoes (Jojo fries). When I arrived for pick up, I was told they miscounted my Jojo fries and since there were only seven, I could wait for them to fry up one more or they could give me two extra wings. I took the wings. Only problem was, when I got home I noticed they had also shorted me a thigh. If you're keeping score, I traded one Jojo fry and one thigh for two wings. That is not a great trade. The chicken and fries were terrific though. They beat the dog-mess out of the alleged fried chicken down the block at KFC. If you're still eating at KFC, you need to take a fearless inventory of your life circumstances. Because trust me, it isn't going well. Typically I frequent the location in Columbus,Ohio where the food and customer service is great! Not the case for this location. There were two young ladies working that couldn't stay off of their cell phones. No greeting either. However, the chicken was okay (hence, the 3 stars) but not on par with the Columbus location. After living in Pittsburgh for many years and experiencing the Greek diners and fast food chicken joints, I have a sincere appreciation for them. I was on the hunt for chicken and found this place in a google search. Since I wasn't familiar with the menu and couldn't find the options I was looking for, I drove there to check it all out first. Parking is easy, it's right in front. I admit that part of my confusion was the menu and limited options for chicken only. The ladies at the counter were friendly and very helpful. I ended up getting the family pack. At over 30 bucks, it was hardly reasonable, considering...but once I got home, tried it and watched the fam enjoy it immensely, I was sold. The chicken is seasoned throughout and JUICY...the name of the game for good fried chicken. I fry chicken well so I can't say I will visit often at this price point but it truly is worth a try and a revisit when you want chicken done right. read more

Great gyros and fries. Obviously, not healthy eating, but you know that before you order based on the type of food. I got carry out and they left my baklava off the order. However, when I went back and told them about it, they gave me extra baklava for my inconvenience. That is what businesses should do when they make a mistake; they should make up for it. So, I commend them for that. Usually, when a takeout place leave some thing off an order, they only offer to write your name in the book and replace it the next time you're in. They always seemed busy to me, there was a lot of customers coming in and out and now this place just closed up for good. I pulled in the parking lot and the windows were covered with brown paper bags, the chicken sign was taken off the Marquee and it was just wiped off the face of the earth. My wife had a craving so she picked up some chicken, jo-jo potatoes and cole slaw. The chicken, oh man the chicken. Crispy, garlicy skin and super moist on the inside. My wife referred to Uncle Nick as a chicken making God. The jo-jo's are big quartered potatoes wrapped in breaded goodness. The slaw-may be my new favorite around the area. Perfectly made and not too wet or not too dry. Good stuff. If you are looking for great chicken in the area, Uncle Nicks is the place to go. There are a few other locations with the original located in Warren and is known as The Buena Vista Cafe. Stopped in for the first time to try a few things. The fried chicken was amazingly good. Crispy outside and moist inside with a nice hint of garlic. Definitely something to get again. Also tried the ribs. They were charred nice on the grill and the sauce was tasty. I prefer ribs that have a much deeper smoked flavor, but these were still good. The only downside was the server told me that they were frozen and I would have to wait for them. Personally, I don't care if they are frozen. It's a small restaurant and I understand that they don't have racks of ribs slow smoking out back. Yet, that's still probably something you don't want to be sharing with your customers. read more

However I arrived there at 10:55am, 5 minutes before they open. I waited and waiting and about 11:05 I went to the door and it was still locked. I could see the workers inside. So I continued to wait.. IT was 11:20 when they finally opened the door after a line of people was waiting for them to open. We all go in and the lady tells us anyone have orders to pick up. We all said no and then she told us they arent taking any orders because they have some big orders to get out. So the lady chased away 4 people orders at opening and wonder how many afterwards. You can order another one and pay for it! Wow! I wasn't looking for a hand out, but okay, I continue to tell her no, I will call in the morning when a manager is there, and she says to me, she will tell you the same thing! Really? You make a mistake, I don't get dinner tonight, and you pretty much just tell me I am s.o.l. never again. I should go on and state why the gyro was only average for me. $10 and it came with white lettuce, when we are at a time in the year where vegetables are in season. And I got mostly the thick stem part as well so it wasn't even edible. No sauce which is strange, and one slice of a thing pathetic excuse of a tomato. I would HIGHLY recommend silva's lebanese deli, her Gyros are like $7 which is $3 cheaper and they're the best around!
