This is by far the worst McDonald's in state of North Carolina. I've been to it several times and they always get my order wrong. Last time I went there I waited a solid five minutes at the drive-through ordering station and still nobody acknowledge me after several attempts of trying to get their attention. Order is usually wrong, and staff is mostly nonverbal at the drive through...no hello, here you go, nothing. Recently ordered through the app at curbside..missing a good deal of the order, so circle through the drive through...then, the missing portion was wrong on this order. They didn't even look at the order, just put random things in a bag, and of course they didn't say a word the whole time. Please work with your staff to improve customer service and just simply looking at what's ordered and make sure they check it before handing it off. read more

We walked in during The COVID pandemic and ordered. An employee was standing on the customer side of the counter without a mask and I asked her where her mask was and she smirked and told be she was "off the clock and she didn't have to have one." I have to agree with every negative review thus far. Holy crap this place is terrible. Slower than slow. I wait forever for my food even though there is literally one person in the restaurant or drive thru. I can see the people making the food in the back and it's a sloths pace. No wait, that's an insult to sloths. I think these people are slower. Customer service is terrible. Everyone has a bitchy look on their faces. They are obviously not happy to be working there. Worst McD's on the planet! Consistently slow, wrong order, unfriendly staff. I went around 1pm the other day. Had to wait in the drive thru line for a good 10 minutes before placing my order. Then another 5 minutes to be told to pull into the parking spot and they will bring my order out. Another 15 minutes (20 minutes after making my order by this point) and they bring out my order. Guess what? IT'S WRONG. So I go inside and the manager tells me they must've given my order to the wrong car. Cool story, bro. Just give me my food. So they remade my food (another 10 minute wait) and of course forgot my honey dijon sauce. Also, no offer for a refund or free dessert or anything. Never again. We've given them too many chances. I am really disappointed with this place, The dining room is always a mess, and the drink area is always understocked, I don't know why, there is always too many employees just standing around. The drive thru is very slow, I don't know why they have two ordering boxes, when they can't even handle one. The orders are always wrong, and you have to pry away ketchup packs and napkins away from them. I had an order that was short from the drive thru, I called when I got home, and they said that we would fix it next time I was there, but when I went back, two weeks later, the rude manager on duty refused and was not friendly at all, so they ripped me off, I will never, ever go back there again, I will go out of my to go somewhere else from now on. Don't even waste your time! This is the worst McDonald's that my husband and I have ever been to. We frequent McDonald's at least 3-4 times a week and will drive 15 miles further just so we don't go to this one. The customer service is non-existant. The food tastes like rubber and it stinks. You walk in and all you smell and see is the dried ketchup next to the drink fountain. We had some problems with our order the first 2 times we went there and manager wouldn't fix the problem. Really pissed. Just left the drive thru. I ordered a large fry but got a medium container less than 1/2 full. I also asked for sweet and sour sauce but got tangy bbq. On top of this they have the two car order line. They finished the whole first line before going to the second which I happened to be in. Not the first time I've been through there with problems. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I work the night shift and have to drive quite a ways out of my way to stop at your location, but it's the only McDonald's within a 35 minute drive from home. I come around 2:30am every couple of weeks and the speaker box stops working after a certain time...(it's been like that for well over a month) which gives the employees an excuse to not take orders. Out of the 6 times I've stopped in the last month and a half, only TWO times have I left with food because the employees ignore customers. Once someone shut the automated "I'm sorry our store is closed" message off and took my order. Another I had to drive up to the window. Tonight, I drove up, an employee was in her car and I was ignored for several minutes...I drove up to the speaker, waited a minute, then drove to the window, waited a couple minutes and honked the horn..I could see someone's shadow and hear them changing the trash bag. I called, no answer. They're purposely hiding from customers and not taking orders. I am tired of wasting my time because your employees don't want to take late orders. I can only imagine how much money y'all have lost. Get it together, you're the only drive thru, open late, for the surrounding towns. read more

Out of all the McDonald's I have visited over the past 60+ years this is the worse. Just in the past three days I have had problems. First, I went in two days ago at 9:30 am. I ordered an McMuffin meal. I was told they were out of muffins. Today I went in for a Happy Meal and an extra hamburger. I did not receive the second burger (although I paid for it). My entire family refuses to visit this particular McDonald's. On top of that, their state cleanliness rating is only a 90, compared to 96 and 99 at nearby McDonalds. read more

This past Friday I took my Mom to this McDonalds. We got the dbl cheese burger and I was very disapointed as it was soo dry it tasted like it had been sitting out for two to three hours. Also, today I went through the drive thru and this young girl acted as if I scared her to death; she said ohhhh! She was fairly young, but no beauty. I did not get what this was about. Do all cashiers that work here act so bizare? It makes you feel unwanted and not appreciated. In the past I have been treated well at this particular McDonalds, but not this time and I might skip this one and start doing all of my purchasing at The Wake Forest McDonalds. Okay McDonald's...its your turn. This location is the pits. My first major complaint. I was in the drive thru, ordered a Big Mac meal ( their signature burger) with double meat...an extra 1.80...but to be able to taste it worth it to me. I pull off and open my sandwich to find it covered with tarter sauce! Yeah tarter sauce! And it was even on the top 1/2 of the bun along with a heap of the minced onion. Back I go. Inside. After waiting 10 mins at least in the drive thru for my youngest (only because she doesn't do Chinese) I hear from her as I pull off she gets no apple slices and a boys toy so back I go. I live in Youngsville, approximately 1 mile from this McDonalds. I will pass this location and drive 10-15 minutes to go to their Wake Forest location. I probably get home quicker also! This is the slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. It's consistently slow... whether it is busy or not. Save yourself some aggravation and go somewhere else. read more

This place is poorly maintained and managed by it's owners. There has been a serious leak coming from the wall in the men's restroom for 3 months. The ice machine on one of the drink machines has been broken for at least 6 months. The Health Department rating is 90 so you can only imagine what is going on in the kitchen and with food storage. Food is often cold or old tasting. I know this isn't a pricey steak house but the owners should invest a minuscule part of their profits to at least cover the basics. read more

The only redeeming features of McDonald's restaurants are speed and ubiquity even in theory now their prices have gone through the roof, and this place manages to screw the main one up every goddamn time I weaken and give them another chance. Awful. Wrong drink in the cup half the time. Leaves stuff out of the bag half the time even after repeating it to me. One time I sat at the board for five minutes asking if anyone was there. Another car pulled up to the other board and gets serviced immediately. I had to back out and go to the other board. When I asked why I was being ignored they just ignored the question. When I pulled up to get my food I asked again and was told that the board wasn't working and they didn't know I was there. Then put a camera there...put up a sign saying the board isn't working. Terribly unprofessional. I downloaded the yelp app only to review this location after ignoring the mistakes for so long. The food is good if they remember to put it in the bag. Terrible. Stay away unless you have time to sit in the drive through for 20 minutes and walk inside to get things you paid for that they left out of the bag. read more
