This is almost a sanctuary for us that we share with friends and family after my cousin stumbled upon it and we went to explore one afternoon. We went here for our team building and i love everything about it! First the ranch is just so breezy, breathtaking and beautiful! We did breath work in a very beautiful pagoda! The details of the architecture was so thorough and well thought out! There is a giant garden that houses about 5,000 flowers! There is another room with Elton John's red piano signed by him! After our breath work, we felt restored and refreshed and we had our olive oil tasting and wine tasting! The olive oil selection were all amazing! I love the citrus infused one! As a serious cook and foodie, I was underwhelmed. The grounds are pleasant and the staff friendly, if not enthusiastic. They do not waive a tasting fee if you purchase oils, so note, if you intend to purchase, that it's quite expensive. Everything is monetized there, down to the pens to sign a credit card at checkout. No free advertising pens here; you need to pay $1.50 if you pick one up. Check out was the moment I thought, wow, over the top and yet somehow cheap. When we arrived, we were welcomed, given a taste of blush wine, then taken to a lovely patio table with a lovely pond view. We had reservations for one olive oil tasting and lunch. I wasn't sure how much to order for lunch and had over ordered. Our waiter, Michael was super helpful and explained it to us. So we backed out a few items. The potato leak soup was fabulous and served in their McElvoy mug, a delicious salad and corn muffin came with it too. It was so delicious. We finished with the citrus tart. OMG that was so fabulous order your own, do not share, that is a mistake I made. We bought three of the delicious oils, and we had to have the mug, perfect shape for soup or a great cup of tea/coffee. I added a white wine tasting for fun, the Chardonnay, was out of my comfort bit definitely worth tasting and buying a bottle.
