He flipped around a binder for a good 5 minutes, and finally said "OK...I found the code to order the purple tool chest for you." Me: "I said I wanted 6...and I wanted WHITE." Him: "Oh. Hold on..." and started flipping again. -_- I said "I'm not in a big hurry for them, so how about you get the preorder all ready to process tomorrow...then call me & I'll come back to finalize the preorder." Him: "Oh, that'd be AWESOME. Thank you." I gave him my full name, phone number, and e-mail...and he wrote down exactly what I wanted. That was 2 days ago. -_- Yesterday, I waited until 3pm...and called back myself. The Sales Manager wasn't there - he was on his lunch break. I gave my name, phone & the subject to the guy that I was talking to & he said the Sales Manager would call me back as soon as he returned from his lunch break. No call. Today, I waited until 1pm, and called. Lady says the Sales Manager is off today. The lady I spoke to said "why don't you just come in & buy what you want? We don't do special orders." -_- Me: "...because as of Wednesday, you don't have them in-stock." Her: "Oh, then you'll need to pre-order them." Me: "THATS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TRYINB TO DO FOR 3 DAYS! It's not as busy as the Tyler location and the return process was easy and efficient. Staff greeted us when we entered and helped us with our return within minutes. I also had some free time to look for garden power tools. We looked at their lithium battery powered lawn mower and shrub cutter. They have quite a selection to choose from. At this location they also have wooden and metal tool boxes for your garage. I found a cute mini wooden tool box that was nice and I'll probably gift it to someone. I am still starting my collection of tools so don't need it know. They also have moving blankets, batteries, security lights, and something new to me exterior solar panels. Overall good visit. Clean interior and everything was organized and had prices on them. They even have a membership that you can join for even more savings!

We had several very heavy beams (6x6) and the delivery guy offered to help my son carry them back to the backyard.... very much appreciated. My low rating is because of the quality of the wood. The redwood had lots of splits in the wood (some of it was actually unusable), plus many knots. The quality was definitely not what I expected for this high-priced redwood. I wish I had been able to hand select the pieces, rather than just getting "whatever" the team who bundles the order selected. Definitely not the quality I would expect from Ganahl Lumber.

Took the fan to Lowe's and spent almost 2 hours at the store speaking to five different associates including a supervisor. Ended up walking away with nothing. Very upset with Lowe's. I am a avid customer and purchase many items on a regular basis. I am a property manager with several properties that I own and manage. I buy items at Lowe's and home Depot regularly. After this type of customer service, I will no longer purchase things at Lowe's. Lifetime warranty on an exclusive item, requires proof of purchase from Lowe's. That makes absolutely no sense!

I waited for quite a while. When another customer approached with a request for help with a large appliance he radioed for someone else to help me. When he walked away with the new customers, I waited for a while then left the area. I walked back to see his name tag when Hodges was pointed to me. I thanked Hodges and told him I would be going elsewhere. On exiting the store I saw Collette at a register and told her how I felt. She helped another customer when I told her I would wait for her attention. I didn't want someone else to wait for attention. Collette and Hodges both listened to my story and assured me that Austin was not a new employee and his behavior was not normal for him. Lynda in customer service was very helpful when I was told the wrong location for the product I was looking for by another employee in customer service. Hodges knew the product I was looking for and Collette was apologetic for my experience.

I was ready to take my business elsewhere. However, an employee named Munabi completely turned my experience around. She was patient and went above and beyond to help me. The original system I bought was $380, and the replacement upgrade I needed was over $600. Munabi advocated for me, made several calls and worked with her manager, and secured a price match so I got the upgraded system for the same price as my original purchase. While the initial problem was a significant headache, Munabi's dedication and customer service made all the difference. Employees like her are the reason I'm sticking around--she turned a bad situation into a great outcome and made me feel valued as a customer. You just don't get good customer service like this anymore and I'm glad to see there's young people like this that are still willing to have pride in what they do. Since I had not made an advance reservation, the Pro Desk suggested that I check with the Tool Rental department. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman named Allen. He asked a few routine questions, including whether I had reserved a truck in advance, and then personally took the time to walk all the way to the parking lot to check the availability. He returned with a smile and happily informed me that there was a flatbed truck available. Since I had never rented a truck from this location before, he politely requested my ID and completed the verification process, which I completely understood and appreciated. He also humbly asked whether I had anything to secure the load. When I told him I did not, he kindly showed me where I could purchase tie-down straps. Throughout our conversation, Allen explained everything clearly, including the rental rates, timing, and insurance options. He was courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely humble. Within just a few minutes, he completed the paperwork, inspected the truck with me, thoroughly explained the rental process, and handed me the keys. I have rented vehicles from many places over the years, but I have rarely encountered someone with the professionalism and outstanding customer service that Allen demonstrated. His positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Home Depot should be proud to have an employee like Allen.
