Hello, or pure hell if your sitting in 103 degrees. Long story short. Dishonest. Does not return calls because he lies. I had an aapparently very expensive part (coil) go out. Now heres the kicker its under warranty, however they no longer make the part. It only gets worse I was told after a couple of weeks he had located the part. It would be here in about 3 to 4 weeks. Its coming from Texas. I was responsible for 300 shipping. So weeks go by 103 outside and all of a sudden they have to make the part. I call him no return calls, hes talking to my roommate. Im the owner of the home. I call again and leave a message to talk to me. Again no return call. This goes on for weeks. After having to buy a portable A/C, he never offered one to me. I guess he did to my roommate towards the end od this miserable mess. Finally weeks go by and its here!!! In all it cost me $1300.00. The refrigerent is apparently very expensive. Why I was sold an A/C thats not up to code will remain a mystery. Now I was left NO invoice work order showing the charges, again MANY unanswered or returned phone calls. Just asked him for this. As a customer whom has been constantly lied to pi wanted the damn work order. Again after a few weeks it comes in rhe mail, aftervhe told me he had gone out if town and eould mail it when ge gets back. Gee thanks Chad. read more

I'm kind of a lazy Yelp reviewer in that I'll only review a business when my experience was amazingly good or amazingly wretched. I mean, who wants to read a review for a business that's "OK"? I don't like this time of year. It's too hot and I don't like giving Edison all of my money to run the AC. Plus we've lived in this house for nearly 27 years and it's pretty much inevitable that our AC is going to conk out on us when we need it the most. Ours died yesterday and I knew that we'd used a great guy two years ago during the pandemic based on a referral from a realtor friend. (PRO TIP: When you need a good tradesman, always ask your realtor friends for a referral.) I couldn't remember the name of the guy and my realtor friend is out of town for the holiday weekend. And yes, it's a holiday weekend and today is Labor Day. I couldn't find his number, but then I remembered posting a photo on Facebook two years ago when his tech was out here, so I searched for the photo and found their number on the guy's shirt!!! They came out two years ago when parts were impossible to find because of the pandemic, but he had a spare Flux Capacitor (or whatever it was called) and hooked us up. They were fast and affordable back then, so I knew I needed to call them and see if they could fit us in. I called this morning on Labor Day expecting to get shaken by my ankles until every last dime came out, but that didn't happen. I also expected to wait all day for help, but that didn't happen either. I called him at 8:20 this morning and he said he had a busy lineup already, but he swung by and my air was back on in a little over an hour. He worked quickly and did great work. My problem started with an error on my Nest thermostat, so I had worked on it myself from that end until my troubleshooting told me that it was either a tripped breaker (it wasn't) or a bad switch or controller up in the attic. I don't do "the attic" anymore, especially when it's a billion degrees out. We don't really get to pick when and where we spend our last moments on earth, but I don't want mine to be in the attic. Not if I can help it. So Chad came out and double-checked all of my previous troubleshooting, which I really admire. I don't mind when a professional assumes that I'm wrong and covers all of the cheap/easy bases before digging into the problem. I work in technology and I always watch workers to see if they're good troubleshooters or not. I was happy to watch his method and I agreed with his approach. He found the electrical problem with the power source up in The Attic (shudder) and found the parts in his truck to fix it. He was too polite to say so, but I could tell he was in a hurry and also wanted to help me keep the cost down, so he suggested to me that I reinstall my own thermostat myself. So I did it myself and botched it up at first, but then I got it right and now the chilly air is coming through my vents again. All this for less than the price of replacing the Nest thermostat. And no, he didn't jack up his fee just because it's Labor Day. I wrote Chad's name down in a better place so I won't have to look so hard to find his number again two years from how (hopefully) when something goes wrong again. I've used him twice now and won't hesitate to use him again. I would have hugged the man if we weren't both so sweaty. read more

The most amazing experience here. I was referred by a neighbor and received a call/text and visit by them on the same night (after hours). The only emergency was that I needed licensed/certified work on my furnace ducting, piping done to meet public code standards. This all needed to be done within 4 days. The way they moved you would have though it was a NOW emergency. The consultation included masks, conversation about family and a professional options to correct my problem. They noticed other things but never once seemed to push an agenda but only to provide facts. They completed the work with minimal noise quickly. And there rates were reasonable. Our furnace stopped working on a Saturday - New Years Day - right before temperatures were supposed to drop into the 30's. The owner of this company, Chad McGeorge, made himself personally available to customers that day, well into the evening. He identified the problem and our furnace was soon up and running again. For easier things, Chad has walked me through fixing the problem myself without charging me anything, even after I offered to pay him! For a cheapskate like me, that is fantastic! It also says a lot about how ethical Chad is! Labor Day weekend, our air conditioning stopped working -- in the midst of a 114 degree heat wave! I called Chad first thing Sunday morning. I know he has a family so did not think that he would answer. Not only did he answer, he came by to diagnose the very serious problem! Within one business day, he obtained the difficult to obtain replacement condenser unit and installed it. Terrible owner who did not do the work they said they would do, yet charged the full price. We do not have any knowledge about HVACs and so relied on what they said. However the HVAC failed again a week later and when we called them again, they insisted they would charge us again for the service. We called another company who came by and told us that the work this company said, was never performed - the part was not replaced. Stay away from this dishonest owner. Chad is one of a kind. As someone who is (as my loved ones say) very temperature sensitive, I do not relish the 100+ degree temps of SCV summers. I had the unfortunate experience of being home when the a/c went out wayyyyyy after business hours. Naturally, it was still 80+ out. Sent a message anyway with our fingers crossed and Chad came to the rescue in under 30 minutes. He diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and waited a little to make sure we were confident we felt the cold air blasting before he was on his way. We called at 940pm on a Sunday night needing emergency service on our AC (especially since we have a 9 month old who couldn't sleep it was so hot!). Chad was here in 25 minutes after calling and was able to have our A/C back up and running in about 45 minutes.
