I would never choose to have my Acura serviced at Smail again. I am so upset that I actually feel that responding to them is not worth my time. Let me give you the short version. Yes, the dealership looks just swell. Okay, that is out of the way. My wife took our 2016 TLX there due to a terrible smell inside the car when the ventilation system is engaged. We also wanted to have our winter tires " switched out". The " highly trained" service advisor suggested a $100 cabin air filter----- the car has 13,000 moles on it. I changed the one on my Edge for $30 at 90,000 miles. My wife declined partly due to price and partly due to the fact the "professional" didn't know it would address the issue. Huh, another $100 to take care of the tires. Huh, 100 must be their magic number. I found a cabin air filter on line for $28 dollars. Oh, wow, they did wash the car. I guess my car wasn't the only thing that got soaked. The morale of the story is that Smail could not GIVE our next car to me. Yep, they have many customers and my business means little to them except for a stinky review. Guess what, there are also many dealerships. Have a nice day. I think I'll take my Mustang for a ride, the Ford deal doesn't try to take me for one. read more

I've just leased my fourth Acura from Smail. I've been driving Acura TL's for nine years now and believe it's one of the best made automobiles on the road. I love driving this car. I've wanted to move into an SUV or truck at some point but everytime I drive a new AWD Acura I fall in love with the car. Smail has been incredible to work with. Beginning with Joe Suto for my first 3 cars and now Clint Robbins for my latest TLx I've been very fortunate to deal with some wonderful people. When I went in 2 weeks ago Clint was waiting for me and ready to take me on a great test drive. He spent a lot of time with me going over all the new tech in the TLx. My overall experience with 15Acura tlx has been horrible! I've had 2 factory defects (back window had water running in, car shut completely down due to pinched wire) that resulted in roadside assistance that never showed. I've also had my car in numerous times for the transmission issue of jerking and shifting rough and there is "no fix available". I find it odd that the same model2016 acura tlx doesn't have these issues because I drove one on one of many times that my car was in the shop. The service ppl that are at the desks aren't real friendly either. I actually had to get Gabe the manager involved due to their unfriendly social skills. It was particularly one service technician. The rest have been great. This may be my last acura that I ever buy due to the issues that I've had. Very very disappointed! read more

My husband and I traded in my 2015 Pilot lease and purchased a used infinity at a great price for my husband to drive back and forth to work in. We have a new truck so we no longer needed an SUV. We had equity from the Honda and we sold a camper, so we only had so much cash to purchase something. My husband had his heart set on the used infinity and our wonderful, down to earth salesman John Myers worked really hard to help us get this car for the amount of money we had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know or who to anyone who is looking for a car. The manager is also very nice and has a great sense of humor. I wanted a AWD sedan but Nissan does not make anything in this category. I decided to look at an Acura TLX (6 cylinder AWD) even though I thought my payment might be more than I was willing to spend. About 11 months ago I had a great experience purchasing an Acura TL (used) from Smail. Everything about the purchase of the car was positive. Where the experience turned was when I went for my inspection. This is where I was advised that the rear brake pads and rotors needed replaced ($1,000-$1,800). I have had the car for less than a year and needed brakes and rotors? I thought to myself this was a joke. I was advised by the service associate that all the car needed to be sold was to pass the inspection. Buyers be aware if you are purchasing a used car from Smail that this doesn't happen to you. I have had my car for just under a year (TLX all wheel drive-THANK YOU, Cliff..my fantastic salesman!)) and have had only the BEST service from Smail! Their pick up and delivery service has saved the day for me on a couple occasions. Most importantly, they diagnose issues correctly the first time and get it corrected as soon as humanly possible. The fact that they make your waiting time so very comfortable and accommodating is just icing on the cake. Oh, did I mention they always give me back a washed, perfectly clean car? I would highly recommend Smail Acura to anyone interested in purchasing an Acura. This is our second purchase in three years from Smail, so it goes without saying that we are Acura fans and that we have been treated fairly and professionally in our dealings at Smail. I had a very dissatisfied experience at Smail Acura.Went in to have a squeak checked out on my back brakes and was told I needed the brakes replaced. The brakes were checked two months earlier and they were great.The service consultant really couldn't explain the problem only that they needed replaced.The only thing she was concerned with was charging me as much as she could for the job. Which was $360.I called a local Honda dealership where I usually have my Acura serviced and was quoted $190 for the same service by a certified technician. What a ripoff! I called and left messages with both service consultant and service manager and neither returned my call. read more

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at Smail. We arrived late on a Friday and our salesman, John Howard was waiting for us when we arrived ( he knew we were driving in) and stayed with us until we drove off the lot at 6:30. John has wealth of knowledge with the MDX. He explained everything to us in detail. Showed us how to use things and how to program everything. Since we live over an hour away, their pick up service will be great when we need service. They leave you with a car while they have your vehicle.
