This was my first time purchasing a Harley. The employees - all of them, made my girlfriend and I feel welcome and comfortable. We took our time...literally about 6 months worth of stopping by talking to Owen, Ryan, and several others about different models, as well as accessories. We were looking at the Limited. They offered for us to take a used one they had out for a test ride, so we did...for three hours. These guys/gals are great! Between the test ride and the customer service we had received, we decided to go back and buy the one we had been looking at. March 19, 2016 we purchased a brand new CVO Limited. We never experienced any pressure at all. Ryan went over the paperwork with us and made sure we understood everything as we went. Within the first month and a half we had put on 3,500 miles, we really love our new Harley. April 27, 2016 we learned the hard way that someone else really liked our new Harley too. When I was getting ready to leave, as I approached the bike I noticed it had been vandalized. The saddle bags had been stolen, the side covers too. The fork lock was broken, and the security box had been removed. After filing a police report, contacting my insurance, then I took the bike back to McGuire's for an estimate and repairs. Again, these guys have been fantastic. I left the bike there, they were nice enough to give me a ride home. The parts were soon ordered, and to my surprise the bike was ready way ahead of the timeline I had been given. Every time I stopped in or called they were always very nice and willing to help. I can't recommend this dealer enough. If you need something for your bike, give them a try. read more

Came in for some holiday shopping for gear and walked over to the service department. Asked when I could get an oil change scheduled. They answered as soon as you can bring your bike by we can get it done. Good thing it was in the parking lot. Done and done. Great service. Always great people at McGuire HD. read more

Service manager is extremely rude not willing to help a customer. Instead he decided to just arguee and hang up, I advise to bring your bike somewhere else other then to them. Complaint: Please accept this note as a complaint. I just left the McGuire Harley-Davidson dealership trying to renew my extended Warrantee. The owner, "Mike" McGuire and several associates informed that they refuse to renew the contract that was sold at said dealership and no modifications were made to the motorcycle since contract in effect. They called me in to renew the contract, but when I show up, they don't want to renew the extended warranty. Contract expires next week on June 17, 2019. This dealership has mediocre management/ownership and I intend to bring this incident to the attention of H-D corporate headquarters. The service department has my other motorcycle in the shop and I am attempting to sever my relationship with McGuire's H-D and just pick up the said bike. Please let's end this relationship in a dignified manner McGuire's H-D. I wish to complete the service on my remaining-in-the-shop motorcycle at another facility as practicable and sensible for me. I wish to go elsewhere for my motorcycling lifestyle business and apparently you also wish me to go as well. Good bye, and good riddance, McGuire's. read more

Tony gave me very useful tips to increase credit to finance my bike finally i got an instant approval and his customer service was great . Shawn is the Man! I had been in a few times the last few months kicking tires and actually doing some test rides. One day Shawn let me test ride a Fat Bob and Vrod. Almost had me sold in a Vrod but wasn't able to make the purchase before years end. Luckily that didn't go through cause a week later I was in Vacaville with some family and they wanted to check out the new street glides. I was able to test ride a low rider that day and fell in love. I even got them to crunch some numbers but they came back with some off the wall numbers. Came back a week later and Shawn gave me a great price on a 2016 low rider almost 6 grand less then what Iron Steed wanted. Since Shawn was so quick to offer a deal on the base model Low rider I asked about my Dream Bike Low Rider S. Shawn absoueltly took care of me and Iron steeds Price was $4k more on the S. Not only was Shawn great at getting me on test rides and putting a great deal together. He got the bike a week before I was expecting and had it ready before he left on a vacation. Several months ago I purchased a Sportster from McGuires HD. With the promise they would do the repairs called for and deliver it the next week. Not only did they FAIL to hold up their end of the deal. They essentially told me I was out of luck and they would not help me unless I wanted a different Bike. All I originally wanted was for them to STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD! Obviously I was asking far too much. I finally got my Sportster (not from them). I then needed an air filter, I went to their shop and was TOLD by their parts employee that the filter needed to be special ordered and would be there within a week. When the part came in I drove ( a considerable distance AGAIN) to get the part. When I got home to replace it, low and behold, it was the wrong part. I contacted the parts dept. and was all but accused of ordering the wrong part. Why on Earth would somebody order the wrong part without all of the proper information. Those people wasted quite a bit of my time, effort and Money. They are refusing to reimburse me for the part and blaming me for their mistake!!!!! Good business? I don't think so! My boyfriend and I walked in looking at bikes for my boyfriend. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to bikes and the one he wanted. We walked in and we were greeting by a lady a the front desk but other than that, that's all we had heard from someone in almost 10 minutes. It was probably around 5 when we came in and the store was not very busy. To paint the picture we are a young couple walking into the store with plenty of employees hanging around, and we were not approached, instead looked at and dismissed. We felt we were almost judged because of our age and therefore weren't taken seriously. Once we were approached by an employee he was helpful but at the end of the day we felt pretty discouraged by our visit. I am a good year and a half delayed in writing this review. It all started summer of 2015 as I decided to purchase that midlife toy in the form of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. I decided to do business with this local dealer, after the poor treatment I received at other Northern California dealerships. Upon arrival to McQuire Harley Davidson I was greeted by Ryan McGuire and instantly made a connection. Ryan quizzed me on my prior riding history and motorcycles owned (none). After I told him of the model and options I desired, Ryan switched to his consultant roll. He really made the whole experience fun, without the stress common in vehicle sales. Ryan was my guide through the whole process from ordering my bike to delivery. He also connected me to a motorcycle training course I took to get my M1 license all while waiting for my bike to be built. His follow up throughout the order,build and delivery process was nothing short of professional. Ryan also hooked me up with Shawn, the Riding Gear and Apparel department manager. Together we picked out the jacket,boots, gloves and other accessories I needed for safe and comfortable riding. I equate the experience to having a personal shopper at Nordstrom's. Other persons in this department I have worked with since include Renee and Pam. All the most upbeat and charming individuals. Joe in the Parts Department along with his department team, also upbeat and informative and always willing to help and give guidance. My most recent visit was to the Service Department, it was not a happy visit for me as someone had stolen my left saddle bag from my motorcycle a couple weeks ago. The theft was covered by my insurance. So Monday morning after my weekend theft, I paid a visit to Diego Perez, Service Consultant, and brought him up to speed about the event, and the fact I had a ride planned and paid for that upcoming weekend, and depended on having both saddle bags on the bike for storage. I asked if my bike could be ready in a week while working with my insurance company to resolve this unfortunate concern and get me to my weekend getaway as planned. At first he gave me the realistic chance of 50/50 but understood my situation and was sympathetic. This is when things got really good. Diego took it upon himself to locate the parts fast, worked several time a day with my insurance company to insure a rapid claims approval and payment sent to them overnight. He updated my at least three times a day to update me. As it turned out, everything came together seamlessly thanks to Diego and his team in the Service Department including Brady! Every time I walk into McGuire Harley Davidson, I am greeted by staff members in every department by my first name! Everyone is always inviting, like you are part of a family, and that is because you are! The after the sale care you receive from this dealership should be the model that all others should follow. the examples of the level of service I receive from this dealership I compare to a Lexus or Acura dealership experience of which both I have dealt with during my automobile ownership of both brands. Clean and modern facility staffed by professionals, with superior waiting lounge with coffee,water big screen TV leather furniture, shuttle service, pick up and delivery service, the list goes on. McGuire Harley Davidson is committed to their customers, and it shows. That is why I have referred friend to them for vehicle purchases and other services, with others in the pipeline.It is also the reason why I will always be loyal to this business, as they are loyal to me! I would have to classify my experience with Mcguire Harley-Davidson as one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The first time I walked in the showroom to make my purchase. (I was looking for a performance part for my 2017 streetglide.) The sales associates did not greet me even though eye contact was made, gave me the feeling as if they were thinking I didn't belong in the store (for whatever reason). Anyways I ignored this and proceeded to the parts counter to ask for the part. The parts associate was very. Courteous and helpful as to offer me my options and answered the few questions I had. I bought the part and was on my way. The worst part of the story is when I got home and realized the part i purchased would not work for me and i wanted to return it. Since I work 6 days out of the week for 10+ hour days I dont have time. So I asked my sweet wife if she could stop by and handle the return for me. So there she is at the store. With my 3 month old son and 2 year old daughter. I know how hard it is for her to load both the kiddos in the carwithout any help while she's pregnant but shes a trooper. Only for Mcguire Harley to make matters worse and not accept a return on my item. They only offered store credit. This is bullshit customer service and I cannot believe what a rip off this store is. As far as I know retail is all about customer service and making sure the customer feel comfortable and pleased with there purchases. But since they pulled this crap I will happily be taking my ass and my 2017 Street Glide and all my future accessory and motorcycle purchases to Oakland Harley Davidson. Where they treat their damn customers just a tad bit better. I give them 1 star because the parts associate got the customer service right. But management needs to change their policies.. read more

I have wanted to ride for many years and fell in love with Harley Davidson over 20 years ago. As things go life took its own course, but funny how it brings you right back to where your passion lies. I am a woman, a mother, a shorter rider and an RN who has worked in a trauma center and had many nay sayers when I mentioned the desire to ride and ride a Harley. I can't say enough good things about this dealer. It all started when Dave Mcdonald stopped on the side of the road to help my buddy who had broke down. Dave picked up his bike and took it to the dealer the next day. When I went to the dealership I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. I knew nothing about Harley's but always wanted one. All the staff help you and answered everything I wanted to know plus some. Dave told me when I was ready to come in and he would help me find the bike I wanted. The day I decided to buy I walked in and was greeted by Ryan and Dave. Told I was approved to finance this much and they went to work. Four hrs later I was riding home on a 2017 Harley. I didn't have to do a thing,and they walked me every step of the way. I was treated which such respect, and wasn't just another customer. They all treat you like family. When the purchase was complete, Ryan walked me around to each department and introduced me to each person. I was given many gifts ect all alomg the way. Dave came and made sure everything was done properly and I was well taken care of. The day after I bought first thing, Ryan called and asked how my bike was ect and if there was anything he could do to help. Amazing service! Hello, I am voluntarily telling you my McGuire's Harley Davidson story... I just purchased my second motorcycle from McGuire Harley Davidson in Pacheco, Ca. I live in the San Jose area, with two dealers within a short driving distance. Question: Why didn't I buy from one of them? Partial answer: "The experience". I don't like being stalked by eager salesmen trying to persuade me, to do something. I don't respond well to that. I don't like the back and forth negotiation typical where you are forced to play head games to get what you want. I generally take weeks to consider which bike I'm interested in buying and it's embarrassing to be treated like you're incapable of making a decision on your own. Is this just me? Anyway, don't Harleys pretty much sell themselves? I've never needed a pitch. What I get at McGuire is real people, not pretenders. I felt cooperation in the dealership between sales, parts and service. This isn't necessarily typical of other dealerships. McGuires doesn't put a markup on the sticker price like some other dealers do. I traded in my used Harley on both purchases...which they gave me a very fair exchange on. That's a big convenience for me. Decent people, helpful people, no bull, no posing, and no attitude...what more could you ask for? Well... in my case, it would be adding customized stuff, stage 2 motor and nasty Ape Hanger handle bars. When I picked up my brand new bike, with everything I wanted on it, they had it sitting out in the showroom under a cover. It was very exciting. Everybody there is good at what they do even the merchandise dept. If you are going to buy a Harley you might as well find people who make the experience a pleasure rather than a struggle. McGuire's people are the good guys! I highly recommend McGuire Harley Davidson among all other dealers that I've done business with starting in 1995 when I bought my first new Harley motorcycle and six more since then...often trading one in for a new model. Btw, I have been self employed for over 30 years, so I know how difficult it can be to run a company that provides this positive outcome. It's not easy. These guys made it feel effortless. They're willing and able and easy to talk to and that's what makes them good. First I would like to start off by saying that the shop technicians Diego and Bryan are superb!! Knowledge, Customer service and overall communication with you and the bike in question are without a doubt the most advanced technicians I have ever encountered. Bravo! One star review, this is why: The owner of the dealership Mr. big shit McGuire harassed me for being on his property after I was told by my insurance agent and service technician that I could remove all the after market products on my bike. A little side note I was cut off on the Bay Bridge riding to work and went down I was rushed to the trauma unit at San Fransisco General where I was diagnosed with a torn ligament in my foot separated shoulder and torn rotator cuff, other drivers suck. RIDE SAFE MY FELLOW BROTHERS!! I digress... Mr. McGurie then prooceded to harass me for removing on MY OWN BIKE MY PROPERTY!! He was not polite, was not sympathetic .I just lost my brand new Harley Iron 883. He could give no shits that I was in a crash that I went through all this pain. I told him that I also have a mental health problem OCD and my bike was my freedom. He said that he didn't want someone mentally unstable on his property. So all you Veterans out there suffering and battling with PTSD which makes up a huge part of the Harley rider community, I guess your not welcome on Mr. McGuire's property. There are no words to describe such an insult to a community that struggles as much as we do. You selfish, self centered, egotistical, bigot. Well let me tell you something sir! If I'm so mentally unstable how could I: graduate from college with a 3.8 GPA Deans Honor List from Chico State University. How could I be getting my masters degree at Berkley with a dual degree program in Business and Museum Studies. How could I work at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco? and lastly how could I be a proud member of my Union? I guess I'm too mentally unstable to be on your property, but that's okay that fat insurance check that I'm going to get for my totaled bike. I'll buy my new HOG somewhere else. Ryan came to me in his office to confirm with me $4,000 trade in on my $17,000 trike was ok, I said, no, I know it's a 2005 Suzuki C50 Lehman trike, with 600 miles, it's older, I should at least get $5,000. Ryan says he'll be right back, I can here Ryan and Dave talking in the next room, " (2015 Harley FLS discounted new old stock bike) mark it back up to MSRP and give him $5,000. Dave and I have have since had a totally unproductive yelling match. I don't know what they did to the used Softtail slim I test rode to make it ride softer, it was more than a custom seat, and Dave, there are no $200 easy seat fixes on the market as you suggest, seat backrests alone cost over $200. It seems there should be consumer protection laws in place preventing this from happening "bait and switch." An honest dealer would have said, yes you told us you were concerned about ride comfort, you did tell us you had a bad back, we just didn't catch this. How can we work with you to get you into a bike that will better meet your needs. Not the "new bike depreciate most when you buy them speech, your $17,000 purchase is only worth $11,000 trade in value. When you talked to me about moving to the Dyna, I said, I could afford this, meaning $20,000 plus fees for the Dyna, including the $17,000 trike trade down to $4,000 trade in value since you Jacked up the FLS price to MSRP ; the FLS Sale of $17,000 reduced to $11,000 trade in is a financial downward spiral. According to at least 3 former Harley Davidson dealership sales people with more than 6 years experience I talked to since we parted said, the Harley Dyna you tried to talk me into buying is widely known in the Harley Davidson world and the second worst/harsh riding motorcycle in the line up, the FLS Slim is the worst. If you were more interested in the welfare of your customers than in the sale, you might have said, Marty with your back issues, you really should stick with the Road King, I could have accepted this easily. The bike now has one day trip of 200 miles and a grand total of 409 miles running back and forth trying to sell the bike. My back is so screwed up we put all our bikes up for sale. read more

My girl and I were on vacation over Christmas and New Year riding PCH. We crossed over the Bay Bridge on our way back to AZ and her high temp and check engine lights come on. We fire up the locate dealer on the GPS and head on over. Well, HD hasn't updated their new location, but a quick phone call got us to the shop. Diego walks out and asks what's up. We explain what's going on and he replies it's 4:30 on a Friday, New Years weekend and his mechanics are just finishing up to head out. He said he'd get one to check out the codes for us, but no promises after that. About 10 mins later he comes out and tells us her water pump is faulty and it's possible we might make it back ok with the cooler temps of winter, but he said one of his mechanics didn't want us potentially broken down on a holiday weekend so offered to replace it for us. Well, an hour later we were heading down the highway and finished off a great vacation, feeling better off having met Diego and having a great experience.
