While installing the water heater, the installer knocked loose a connection which resulted in a leak in the line. We called him and he promised to fix it. Meanwhile leak continues and now mold is growing. Called four times and he promised to show. Our renter took off work to be there each time. No show. Now he won't answer our calls and we have had it. We even offered to pay him to fix his own mistake. Again, no show. Will have to take him to court to fix this. So frustrating.

However when I walked into my bathroom it looked like he left a train wreck all over and in my tub. Now my tub drain is slower than normal to drain. Had him work on an outside faucet too and he spread all the power tools with water. For the amount that they charged I would have expected better clean up and communication, but no way. Once he decided he needed to go he left in a hurry no let me show you what I did or do you have any questions. I had to pull information out of him. I had another faucet that needed work done but he said he had to leave and couldn't do it. I get that we all have busy lives and I would have understood had I not mentioned everything I needed to start with. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's not worth getting your house dirtier than it was to start with and flooded without your knowledge. He said, let me see if I can solve your problem without charging you. I did the things that he said to check and my last bill was $23.00. I asked him to send me a bill and he said it's not always about the money. It shows that Rick's integrity is more important than money. We were a customer of 13 years and had a good run with Absolute Comfort. We prefer to support…read morefamily-owned businesses and Absolute Comfort came more than once after hours when we lost AC. We bought both furnace and AC units from them, and they had never steered us wrong. Last summer we bought a new AC unit based on Alec's suggestion and at the time found him to be honest & knowledgable in the process. Alec also suggested Lennox's new iHarmony zoning thermostat of which now after researching we paid way too much (we were charged $3K+ and it costs approximately $387 online). After installation we returned home from being out of town to an above 80-degree house to later learn the new thermostat had been programmed wrong upon installation. They did come right away on a weekend & made some temporary changes to get the house cooled down. The heat continued for days after that. Alec couldn't figure it out and turned it over to Ronnie. Ronnie tried to fix it (meanwhile we were still battling the July heat) and told us to stay in touch via phone. That was the last time a text or call was answered and were unwilling to call Lennox support to fix the problem. We finally had to go through a painful 1+ hour support call ourselves to learn the zones had not been set up correctly upon installation. Correcting the thermostat fixed the problem immediately. Never heard from Absolute Comfort again, and we chose not to pursue any longer. We felt like taking our money was priority this time around, not customer satisfaction. That was a dealbreaker for us.
