I would like to take a moment to share my experience after taking insurance from visitors plan. My father admitted to hospital in emergency and after discharge i received huge dollars of bill, i was little panicked and was not sure whether my claim would be approved or not. Everything seemed great until I had to use the insurance plan. Because of lack of follow trough throughout the purchase process the plan that I needed was not what I purchased. Whenever I had to use the insurance then the magical words came out "your plan does not cover it". After explaining the situation to a manager her response was that it was completely my fault that I purchased the wrong thing so they could not do anything about it. Now after spending $400 on insurance plan I also have a $400 medical bill. Should have never purchased it on the first place. read more

I have been purchasing travel insurance for my parents through MCIS over the years. The agent, Naveen, was very helpful in making me understand the different options and recommended the product which included coverage for pre-existing conditions. We did not have any instances where we had to visit the doctor during the visit. However that changed on the last trip. My father had to go emergency, ICU and then hospitalized for 5 days. During this entire time I was in touch with MCIS agent and he put me in touch with the claims coordinator who walked me through the different processes i had to follow right from pre authorization to final discharge and filing claims. Over the next few weeks/months, Ram, the MCIS claims coordinator was in touch with me regularly and helped file the claims, followed up with the insurance company (remember MCIS is a broker firm) and made sure the claims were all settled timely. It was a nerve wracking process for us as the hospital bills were extremely high. I never had to contact the insurance company directly, Ram did all the work and would send me detailed follow up with the reference numbers. All the claims were settled, including the high dollar amounts. I had to pay some money out of pocket (the deductible and some charges that the insurance company declined due to valid reasons). The out of pocket amount was nothing compared to the initial charges. Overall I am very happy and would recommend MCIS. Lastly I would like to add that based on the recommendation of Naveen I opted for the highest coverage ($1M) instead of going with just $100K. The cost in premiums were really not much between 100K and $1M. It did a big difference during the claims process. If we had opted for lower coverage we had to pay for the balance out of pocket which would have been very high! Thank you MCIS (Ram & Naveen) for all your help! read more

I would not recommend going and buying the insurance from this website. The person , I think his name was Naveen, wanted to first take all my personal information before telling me about the plans. When I gave him my work number, he insisted I give him my cell number. What riduclous thing is that. You can go to any website that is an aggregator for visitors insurance any buy a plan- the prices are regulated and no one can charge more. I know the reason why they wanted to have my cell phone so that they can call me again and again to harrass me to buy, in case I decided not to buy from them I DO NOT recommend going to them. Instead go to visitors Coverage. The lady there was very professional and polite and provided me with all the details and told me what to buy and what is covered versus wht is not. Dharmesh Verma from the MCIS Multichoice insurance Service has been working with me for past few weeks to resolve these issues. There were two complaints: 1.Refusal by PAMF and Beacon to use the Coventry insurance. 2.Payment of fee to El-Camino hospital for my mother's treatment. For Point 1, Dharmesh has communicated with Beacon/Santa Clara/PAMF for their refusal. I have been assured that this problem should not re-occur. For Point 2, we have start the process for the Insurance to pay on the El-Camino Claim In lieu of this, modifying my review to 4-star. I am taking my mother in law in couple of weeks. I always buy Visitor Insurance for my parents from Naveen. He is always helpful explaining me about the plans and he would call me before the renewal period, I never had to keep track of it. This time unfortunately I had to take my mother to ER. I didn't look if the nearest hospital was In-Network or Out-Network. After the ER my mother was also admitted to the Hospital for quite some time and it turned out that the Hospital was Out-Network. They had a huge bill ready for me. In comes Ram Verma, he was helping me through the whole claim process. he helped me through out the whole claim process and everytime i had any questions I would call him and he was really quick to respond. Sometime even i thought that I would have to pay for the balance but Ram assured me that this was not the case. In the end everything was settled and I didnt had to pay any huge amount of money. Please don't trust on this website information, they are biggest liar/cheater in insurance industry for any company which I had never seen in my whole life. I stay in California, My mother had recently heart attack few months back.I watch their ads on Tv, Radio zindagi 1550 am, Google ads, Radio zindagi events they cover pre-ex conditions from last year. I have recommended to 2-3 friends to them also. I had spent 2-3 hours for researching/reading the plan benefits Which plan will suites my mother as she had heart-attack. I narrowed down to 3 plans, Atlas America, Liaison Continent plan A and Patriot America. I have tried to visit their office in fremont as I am working professional I decided to visit their office to understand which plan will best for my mother situation, visited at 9:30 am PST and evening 5:30 pm PST on one of the week day. You will not trust me their office was closed both the times. It surprise me both the times. Earlier their website shows on the home page Call us at any time 855-444-6247. Their website doesn't show any information about timings as we don't from where they are working whether it's India call centre, Pakistan or anywhere in US. They advertise everywhere Quote, Compare and buy online. Me and my husband were both looking the plans on different sites. My husband had talked to Visitors Coverage and www.insubuy.com told the whole story which is above mentioned they said None of the plan will help in this situation as she had heart attack recently. They had recommend not to buy the insurance if you are looking to cover this medical problem or follow up visit or medication for this conditions. They had educate us about the plan benefits, what covers and what not. I strong recommend not to buy the insurance online directly because you never know what you are buying it as they advertise wrongly to customers. Several people they refer their family/friends/colleague to buy the insurance they just buy the insurance online blindly. They just put their ads on top of Google ad word so that people can buy insurance online. Yelp it is a sincere request to you for giving an option of negative stars. I called up MCIS for medical insurance for my parents which was received by some Nick (company provided name as he said). He did not tell me his full name as he knew I was going to write a review but I called at around 11:30 PM PST on 1/16/2016 so that may help identifying the right person. Firstly I told him i am looking for medical insurance and without any greeting or response he asked me if I can be reached on the number I am calling from. I said yes and he hung up saying he will call back. Then he called few minutes later and I said, "Hi I am looking for medical insurance" The first response I got was , did you check the time on our website? We are available 9 AM to 9 PM and you are calling at 11:30 PM. Dude do you really want to sell your services with that attitude? Why did you even pick up a customer call and then called back if you are not working. Also it is not mentioned next to your phone number on website. This was not my first experience with them as I called them last month for my Mother in Law's medical insurance and ultimately ended up taking the same insurance from insubuy. This time again I wanted insurance for my parents but 12% discount would not force me enough to take that attitude. We had taken insurance from MCIS from his Business Owner Dharmesh Verma who had replied for reviews below. I had spoken to Dharmesh Verma for 30 minutes. He told me to buy the insurance and all the doctors/hospital will directly bill to Insurance company, Initially Hospital didn't charge me anything at all, After few months later we start getting bills from Insurance company this will not be covered due to pre-ex conditions. We had talk to Insurance company several times regarding these they have declined all the bills/claims. They have not paid penny at all. These Companies advertised very heavily on internet, tvs, radios to sell their insurance online but these companies never approve any claims. One of my friends he had recently took MCIS , Patriot America he has very bad experiences they said it doesn't cover due to pre-ex conditions. He got a bill from more than $200k, he has given all the medical reports to Insurance company it's not a pre-ex conditions. They always said it's pre-ex conditions. These all companies are scam, cheaters they never approve any claims. He had talk 30-40 times with Insurance companies he has file appeal with them he provided all the doctors report from India You must heard stories claims for more than $100k bill is rejected.
