Pet Groomer Paula, the Groomer, is gentle, thorough, knowledgeable and fast.. A friend recommended her when my cocker spaniel needed grooming. I've been somewhat disappointed with the groomers I've taken him to here in Pocatello. Paula has made him gorgeous. She's every bit as good as any groomer in Salt Lake City. AND she's affordable! McKee's Feed Garden & Pet Centers is a large garden and pet store with a wide selection of products. We stopped by to check-out the free petting zoo in back and spent about half an hour there. The kids enjoyed the petting zoo, but I was disappointed by how rundown and poorly maintained it was. Everything was old, dirty, and worn out. Many of the animal enclosures also weren't very nice. But despite that, the animals seemed healthy and mostly well taken care of. read more

This location is Ok if you are looking for reptiles they had few you won't be able to find elsewhere in Poky. Rodents are not looking very good though.We got guinea pig from this location.Beast was overweight and his claws grew so long it almost caused his fingers to be deformed.I had few questions and sales person was not very knowledgeable. read more

The first time we bought a fish from them the tank said it had ick, we asked the worker about it and he said that they do not have it and that they are safe to put in with our other fish. A few days later my Angelfish that was completely healthy gets white spots all over it and dies. (white spots are a huge symptom of ick) then my catfish gets white spots as well, we attempt to treat the tank with ick treatment, and our albino shark (the one they said was fine to put in with our fish) and our catfish died. I went back in because they have a guarantee, and this very rude lady proceeds to tell me that you cannot see ick, and that it just happens when their stressed. Obviously she has no clue what she's talking about because if you simply google ick it'll tell you about the white spots! After going back a couple of times they finally gave us a store credit of $19, even though the price of the fish would've been $35+. Later on we got 4 gouramis, and my fiancés mom got one as well, all of them died very quickly. So again we took them back, and the guy told us to bring a sample of our water in I've heard others talk about having this same problem, and that whole store is filthy !!!! Their animals are always so dirty and the main reason we even bought from them is because we felt bad! We've had our fish that we bought from PetSmart for over 2 months. Obviously it's not our water! On top of all of this, the store stinks! The puppies always have feces all over them, their was a dead rat that the other rats were eating in a cage, the reptiles all have red spots on them (blood mites I believe), their fish tanks always have dead fish in them, I have heard numerous stories of them lying to people about the age of animals, all their animals look sick, and staff is rude! read more

I lost a fish due to this store not fully informing me about the medication depleting the oxygen in the tank, and almost lost a second because of it. I was told "Oh I am sorry about your fish, maybe he was allergic" They were unwilling to do anything about it, and were NOT knowledgeable about, or unwilling to admit the o2 issue with the medication. The animals are NOT treated well, and the poor animals in the petting zoo are a joke, For the most part the staff is either unfriendly, or not knowledgeable enough to actually give customers sound advice. I will NEVER step foot in either store again, and I will advise my Family & Friends to do the same! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! read more
