He even came out with a "fall" colorful bandanna wrapped around his neck. The staff is friendly and listened to my request. Side note: I had to wait almost a week for this appointment so call ahead because they're busy. Also the front door is locked; you have to press the doorbell button to get inside.

I should have checked into this facility further. I boarded my three Yorkies for 6 days. This was…read moretheir first ever boarding experience. Some of the things that were wrong about this visit. 1. I sent along 5 t shirts, one to be given to them each day. Two shirts were given to them, the other three left folded in the bag. How hard is it to put a t shirt into a kennel each day? Especially when it comforts them? 2. I asked that they pay attention to my oldest girl as she doesn't eat when stressed. I gave them canned food to entice her. They only used 1 can and she came home visibly skinnier. 3. When I picked her up. she was also visibly stressed - wet face and hoarse from barking. Could they not call and ask how they could help her? I could have had some anti anxiety medication brought for her. 4. I called several times while away (gave up after I couldn't get through more than once), NO ANSWER AND NO RETURN MESSAGE. the one time they answered when I asked how they were, the worker didn't know what dogs I was talking about. She quickly tried to recover but it was obvious she had no clue. I am so disappointed in the care they DID NOT receive.

Since I'd never kenneled Daisy, she was never vaccinated for kennel cough. The staff said, "no problem! Who is your vet?" And took Daisy to my vet for the required shot. Their service enabled the whole family to leave on time without me having to make the arrangements. The kennel is very clean and the staff were fantastic. They greeted Daisy and we're kind and gentle with her. Upon pick up, the staff provided several photos of Daisy's activities with a detailed report of how her stay went. I was thrilled knowing Daisy was so well cared for while I was gone. Having never used a kennel before I lack experience, but I am certain the high level of service I received sets a high bar for any other kennel service to meet!

I am heartbroken and furious. My 13-month-old golden retriever, Maple, was attacked during her…read morefirst overnight stay at Pocatello Pet Lodge on July 18-19, 2025. She came home with at least 13 puncture wounds across her back, ribs, and neck. No staff member informed me of the injuries, and no one even noticed they had occurred. Before this, Maple loved daycare here. But in April 2025, the facility was bought by Best Friends Pet Care, and the quality of care has drastically declined. When I dropped Maple off for her overnight stay, the staff was rude, disorganized, and admitted they didn't even have a kennel ("house") ready for her. Despite purchasing their highest-tier package and bringing her crate, they kept her in a temporary chain-link kennel the entire time. Additionally, I did not receive the 'bedtime photo' I paid for until after her stay was over. The photo, attached, shows she did not sleep in her crate, as they promised and claimed. When I discovered her wounds at home, I immediately called. The manager and staff were unaware Maple had been attacked. Based on her numerous injuries and her timid personality, this was not a single bite--it was a prolonged, unsupervised attack, possibly by multiple dogs. Staff later admitted they are severely understaffed and required by corporate policy to book at 110% capacity. Although they refunded her stay and offered to cover the vet bill, they claimed they could not identify which dog(s) harmed her. This means the aggressive dog(s) has not been banned or separated and may still be attending daycare and boarding. I will never take my dog back, and I strongly recommend you do not either. Maple survived only because of her size--if this had happened to a smaller dog, I believe it would have been fatal.
