The food was exactly what we were looking for. The service by the waitress and the guy making the fresh conch salad making sure we had an amazing experience watching him make it made our whole experience. The ambiance was upbeat and fun. Good attitudes by everyone there and we learned about the locals. We were happy we walked there. A man named Wellington told us about going there.

McKenzie's is a cozy little spot conveniently located just on the other side of the bridge from Paradise Island. My family ate twice during our stay. Our first experience was eating in. The booths in the back offer nice views of the water and of the beautiful mural on the wall. We ordered conch salad, conch fritters, cracked conch, snapper, and grouper. The food came out quickly in to-go containers. The conch salad was delightfully fresh, the fritters beautifully brown and doughy, and my cracked conch was crispy with the perfect amount of bite. Drinks were reasonably priced for the island. I'd rate that experience a 5/5. I was so impressed with the conch fritters when we dined in that I went back to grab take-out for lunch a couple days later. Contrary to our dine-in experience, the fritters took 30 minutes to come out. They were placed on a paper plate wrapped in tinfoil (despite them being served in a to-go container when we dined in?) and were far greasier, darker, and chewier than what I had received previously. I'd rate them a 2.5/5. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. As it stands, I'm rounding to a 4. Your mileage may vary based on the cook!

The only place to get conch salad and cold kaliks. If you don't stop here, you're missing out. Solid views and even better food. Glad that I was able to try this place while in the area! Conch fritters were bomb.com Highly recommend you try this place if you're reading this

Omg omg omg. My boyfriend took me to the Bahamas for my birthday this year and Mckenzies came highly recommended so it was first to knock off on my list. Boy oh boy did it not disappoint! I got it and could not stop craving it again and again over the next few days of our trip. He cuts the conch fresh (he explained the conch in Nassau is not farmed, it's actually caught fresh by scuba divers and dispersed to businesses on the island). He adds fresh squeezed lemon and orange juice on it with a mix of habanero pepper (you decide the spice level, I asked for it extremely spicy and it was incredible), plus a myriad of mangos, tropical fruit and veggies. Order the tropical conch salad extra spicy and thank me later guys!

Delicious refreshing food worth the wait. We had conch salad, grinch salad, plantain, rice, and of course Bahamas mama's for drinks. Our server was also kind.

This is a small establishment and it looks very divey. We were seated at an outdoor table (only option) and there were ants on the table. It is outside, but it's also not food-adjacent-enjoyable. Looking over the menu, not very much looked like "authentic" food like I'd been told. There's a lot of burgers, fries, and wings. The menu lists "fish" as "$14+). The sides are rice and fries. I would have loved any vegetable options. The prices were pretty high (not really much different from the resort food. We sat at the table for about 5-10 minutes with no service before we decided the menu wasn't appealing enough to wait around any longer. So I didn't get to find out what the fish was.

There are two locations. They are very close so I see the pictures are mislead. I tried both. At the Marina village We shared one conch salad with fruit 20$ in total. We liked the dish very much. The lady before us asked for two salads extra spicy. The chef made all three salads mtogether and ours was very hot. We suffered when we enjoyed. The conch is very fresh and the price was reasonable. Will come back again. Off the island, this one has a larger menu and cheaper price. 12/15 conch salad without it with fruits.

Super fresh conch salad made right to order. The person makes it slices the fresh conch, adds tomatoes, onions, peppers, salt, lemon and orange juices. Tosses it and serves in a compostable plate. Once served, dig in and enjoy one of the best conch salads in the Island. Not cheap, but freshness comes at a price.

Absolutely amazing and authentic conch salad, with a twist of mango and tomatoes, and plenty of lime to make this such a refreshing snack. A definitely must have if you're staying at Atlantis, and walking theough the Marina Village. Fantastic piña colada frozen drinks as well.

The best dining spot over the bridge. Always friendly and professional. My husband and I eat at McKenzies every trip we take to the Bahamas.

Called 15 minutes in advance for an order of curried chicken with rice and peas. It was ready a…read morecouple of minutes after I arrived. The quantity was decent for $18, and the taste was great. I'm definitely a fan of their curry chicken and steamed cabbage.

Looking at the reviews I was skeptical about trying this place, but my fiancé saw a video posted by…read moresomeone saying how good it is which made us come to a conclusion of trying it all out and see if this influencer really know what she's talking about. Their menu offered a bit more than Yah suh nice Jamaican which was why my fiancé chose this Eva's rather than Yah suh. The service need abit of improvement, there was no "Hi welcome in" like most small/big restaurant does to make their guest feel welcome. There's no enthusiasm in it as well and when my fiancé tried to order the jerk shrimp mild spicy which they said it has to be spicy but if you see in one of the picture with the list of item you can see 10pc shrimp jerk mild or spicy sooooo??? It had to be spicy???? Yeah alright then. Then why have Mac and cheese as a side if you can't order it as a side for your meal but can be purchased separately ???? The Cashier said it's " premium " there's no such as a premium Mac and cheese unless that Mac and cheese the come loaded with meat mtchhhh..... The ordering for take out in person need a better system cause why would you call out the order, instead of the name of the customer, what if someone else got the same order to avoid that issue they should start taking the name of the customer. Anyways here's what we try: Chicken patty - 5/10 - meat had no juice in it, was dry and barely any meat in it. Mac and cheese - 7/10 - noodles were overcooked, there wasn't really any flavor either. 2 meal combo Jerk chicken and oxtail - 7/10 the jerk chicken ( 3pc) was okay.... Didn't really taste any flavor on it imo, the rice and peas were alright not as good as taste of Jamaica. The oxtail was decent but only 4pc of it not really worth the $32 Jerk shrimp - 10/10 the flavor was good, the yellow rice was cook well and season properly. Overall the experience was meh.... Wouldn't really recommend this place.
