The sheep are raised on a solar farm, where they have shelter, and can maintain the land. The employees are knowledgeable and personable. They offer charcuterie boxes with the salami and other local products. They host Farm to Table Dinners, which I have heard are wonderful experiences. (It was super because it was larger than the regular burger.) The burger was one of the best diner burgers we've tried. Hand molded, crispy edges, tender middle, and as tasty as could be. The pimento cheese was good, and the bun was very fresh. I had the foot long chili cheese dog. Simple, with American cheese, and a nice mild chili; the dog was grilled and the bun was soft. It was just what I wanted. We didn't order fries and I'm glad because the servings were just the right size. For dessert, we each had a fried apple hand pie. (I had seen the signs on the outside window and knew I just had to have one.) They were also made and cooked on demand and were absolute perfection: crispy, delicate crust, with a juicy apple pie filling. (Better than any other fast food place could dream of!) We are looking to come back for another enjoyable and very affordable lunch! (Tip: watch out upon entering the parking lot, there's a steep dip for low riding cars.)

The grocery store is just okay somewhere half way between a convenience store and s real grocery, it has almost everything but certainly stays away from prestige or quantity brands. The hardware and farm store (in adjacent building) are surprisingly good with an amazing variety of items and are more helpful than their big block store competitors. What can you say about the gas station!? As for the propane, in the lot between the buildings, is the propane contraption. You park aside it which is convenient in that you really don't have to carry your tank more than a few feet. Then you walk into the hardware store where you pay for your refill. Then they call someone in the grocery store to come out whom you meet back at the refill station and then they fill your tank. And my dog loves to go with me on this chore cause she sticks her head out of the window to hear the odd sounds of the refill and smell the unusual smells. Additionally you save a few bucks compared to the more traditional exchange places.

Bun is a quality Brioche Bun branded with logo. A little large for the burger. Slaw was impressive. Chili OK. Burger had little bits of bone in it. I was unhurt but its disconcerting. Side of Chips is supposed to be Tallow Fries but they were same brand but Kettle Cooked instead. My biggest concern is the $18 price tag for a burger on bun with a bag of chips. I can't do it again. I'd love to support local but not at that value proposition.
