All the pieces look great (as they always do) and they burn super long. It's a really clean burn and an easy light. They even include (and separately store) kindling to make everything easy. I don't get the stacking service, but they still stacked things nicely on the driveway to avoid blocking the car in the garage. Great folks and a great product!

I requested the oak and he said he had a cord and a half however he didn't send any because he said he didn't have enough. He advised he was sending mixed hardwood and no oak but the wood I received is a lot of soft wood as it very lightweight and powdery when it burns. I paid a lot of money for the wood to not be fully mixed hardwood. Disappointed.

I originally wanted just pickup what I needed, but was informed they only sell by the ton. The good news is that they price delivery into their cost already and deliver to you. I called at around 10:30 in the morning expecting them to tell me the earliest they could make it was the following day, but thankfully enough they were able to make it the same day. So I ordered one ton of gravel over the phone and by 12:30 to 1:00 in the afternoon they came and made the delivery. Everything worked out much better than expected and I'll definitely be calling them whenever I need gravel (I do several excavations per year). Their prices are really good too considering they deliver to you. Definitely beats buying by the bag at a store.

The wood burned so beautifully that we used our wood-burning stove all winter, until we ran out of wood in February...so this year we ordered a whole cord. It was again neatly stacked, and the wood is burning great. After the delivery was made, the owner of the company called to make sure we were satisfied. Delivery was fine and driver was helpful guiding material onto tarps. The problem was the material…read more- dyed brown so called mulch. The mulch, purchased at the super preimum price of $35.99 a yard, was junk. It consisted of metal shards, angle iron, softball size chunks of asphalt, cigarette butts (dozens) and other non mulch trash. This resulted in many hours aof raking , picking and separating out the trash that was included and cost us significant time and money to correct so it was at all usable. Owner Jeff - don't write a response making excuses and offering a pittance of price adjustment for "good will" while making excuses. When you charge these kind premium prices it fair for a custoer to expect a premium product rather than garbage you deliver - and I have purchased the ever declining product for too many times for it to be a one off situation. Maybe think about a different line of work Jeff - trash collection come sto mind.

JL Tree Service was a great experience and I would use them again…read more First of all, their customer service and prompt response to calls and emails was excellent. In fact, they had multiple team members reach out to myself and my neighbor, whom we did a project together (tree removal). The project walk-through was excellent and the quote came the same day. I liked when the customer representative walked through with me, asked if I was a veteran (and I am), and provided me a veteran discount. The quote was obviously the best, as we went with them, but even if another vendor came in at the same price, I would probably go with JL Tree bc of their responsiveness. I had one vendor who didn't call me back for over 30 days! The day of the project was excellent. The foreman and I walked through the project (three tree removals).
