This led me to making some unexpected modifications to my truck in order to accommodate the plow. I was not happy about this as it delayed the process of installation. When I came to pick up the plow, Ross (one of the owners) met me and went over the plow and it's functions with me. He is an upstanding guy who is polite, professional and respectful. He rectified the situation and addressed the issues that led to some of the hurdles. Very few businesses stand behind anything and lack integrity these days. I would like to start out by saying that I have been at a lot of barns over the past twenty five…read moreyears and can easily recognize a great barn from a bad one. I came to Willowdale almost ten years ago with my chestnut thoroughbred mare. She was very unhappy and underweight when she arrived there from our previous barn. Within a few weeks of being there she settled down and put on weight. She was back to her old self, which was a handful and the owners dealt with her perfectly. They actually enjoyed to see her liven up and feel well again even though it meant at times she was more work or harder to handle. When I had my son prematurely and needed to spend a lot of time at the hospital or at home with him the owners stepped in and took complete care of her for me. The best part was I could truly say I had no worries about her at that time and knew she was in great hands with a lifetime of equine experience. As for the barn as a whole it is a family. Everyone looks out for one another and their horses. As mentioned the care is amazing, the barn is clean, the stalls are large and always in great shape. The paddocks and fields are maintained year round and every horse there is "fat and happy." Besides all of this, it is located next to Willowdale State Forest which allows for more trail riding than you can do in a day. Bottom line Willowdale Farm is a Great place to board for both horse and owner.
