I had a battery fail, and Wellington replaced it quickly, right in my driveway. He arrived within a couple hours of the phone call. (Important note. Wellington really doesn't keep batteries around for my car's over-sized, rear-mounted battery, so I did have to pick one up at the parts counter of the local dealer. AAA will give you a jump, but their battery service won't touch them. Same with any auto parts store that plugs "free installation." I had recently driven my brothers 1983 Mazda pick up truck up to Boston to move out of my apartment. When I parked the classic looking model in the Allston area on the night of my arrival, someone broke into the car, stole the stereo and tried to steal the automobile itself. They were sloppy and stabbed a screwdriver in the ignition in a desperate attempt to get away with the wheels. When I discovered the hacked up car, I was unsure if it would still turn on. After dealing with the police all day, I was able to start the car but the ignition was sticky. I got to my apartment and began to load up the truck to get the hell out of dodge. But low and behold when I was finished packing, I went to take off in the little truck and the key wouldn't turn. It was 8pm and I was getting scared. I wanted to get the truck home. I spent two hours trying to get the key to turn in the busted ignition, it wouldn't budge. I called a car locksmith in the hopes he would be able to help my situation. He was dumbfounded by the old car and was little help. I paid him his 28 bucks just for coming down and it was now 11:30pm. I began to search for a 24/7 garage to tow my car out of the dangerous place or hot wire it. NO PLACE IN BOSTON IS OPEN 24/7. I searched and searched on google. it was now 12:30 am and I wanted to at least get my car towed out of there to a safe place, because all my furniture was in the back of the pick up as well. At 9am the next day, Wellington called me to let me know my car was hotwired with an easy switch to turn the old car on and off. I was ready to go. He came to my apartment and picked me up. He brought me to my car. His business truck was full of baby car seats; he was raising 3 daughters. He was an honest and genuine guy, who only wanted to please the customer, and he went the distance to do so. I got my truck, paid him an affordable price, and got home safe.
