My daughter and I chose this place because it was the only place we could park - but we were happy we did. The atmosphere is pretty eclectic and old school but in a fun way. We both really enjoyed our lunch - turkey sandwich (with cranberry and mustard), salad (really good ranch dressing!) and soup (clam chowder). Our server (Loie) was friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed this place!

Still ok. The sandwich is the Portland Dip, and I love a turkey sandwich with jus. This is probably the best of the three local restaurants that have them, in my opinion.

My mom and I went here on her lunch break on a Monday in August around lunch time. There was maybe only 1 or 2 other tables at the time and we were seated quickly and our order was taken. I got a margarita that was good! The server was a nice guy who didn't linger and wasn't inattentive. He chatted with us at the very end and was super personable and nice! The french dip was surprisingly very good! It was surprising because I regularly eat french dips working in a restaurant and expected it to be a regular dip like I've had before but it was super flavorful and the au jus was great too! The side salad was fresh and the parm cheese added a nice elevated touch to a basic side salad. This location was cool and had a lot of beer coasters up on the beams. I thought that there were repeating ones but when I'd play the memory game with myself, I kept seeing new/different ones! Lots of cool posters too! Bar looked classy and clean with lots of alcohol options.

They offer a 3-6 happy hour every day, as well as a late night happy hour, so we took advantage of that! The staff was friendly and quickly took our order, even though we arrived 10 minutes or so before 6:00. I had a veggie burger and my partner had a smash burger. They come a la carte, but that is still plenty of food and it was well prepared well. I also enjoyed a cider. Nice time!

I like the dimly lit rustic ambience of this place, similar to other McMenamins but of course, unique. If you can get out to the patio in nice weather, the foliage and fencing is lovely. No complaints about the service in general, but one time I ordered a meal and asked for gluten-free bread as a sub for the toast, and the server was not on the ball enough to tell me that the item I was ordering, bread aside, was very much NOT gluten-free. This was disappointing. The food is decent, but they do have a tendency to overuse this kind of flavor-poor cheesy cream sauce, you will find it as the main part of many of the soups, or unexpectedly added to other dishes as well. I go here at least twice a month to meet up with a group, and am hoping they will be mixing up their menu with new items soon.

We had the Portland dip and Jr burger. Good American fare, mayo, cheese, ranch galore. I also indulged in their apple cider that hit the spot. Great vibes, music and staff. The service was prompt and correct.

The reason for the late review is I made a mistake and left this on the north bank locations not realizing there was two separate Euegene locations. Below is the original review. ONLY giving 1 star for the hostess going above and beyond to make room for a table of 8 We were sat pretty fast at around 12pm post marathon on April 28th and all ordered within 10 minutes of sitting down. The server was nice and helped provide suggestions for the food we ordered. Our drinks came out pretty fast but everything went downhill from there. It took us over an hour and 30 minutes for our food, it was absurd. After the first round of drinks we were never checked on to ask if we wanted another. Further tables that were sat AFTER our arrival had their food delivered before or at the same time as us. Never once was there an apology issued for the absurd wait time for the food. On top of that some of the sandwiches (chicken Sandwiches and burgers) were cold or luke warm at best. At the minimum the server could have apologized (I realize he is not cooking the food but accountability for your tables is the least you can do in the service industry - as someone who also bartends and serves I speak from experience) Attached is the photo of their el Diablo chicken sandwich that takes 90 minutes to make To finish I suggest avoiding this place unless you like to wait outrageously long for mediocre and over priced food with below average service. The time stamp of when I took the picture of our portion of the receipt was 2:12pm to demonstrate how long we were truly there for. Please note the length of time was mostly spent waiting for our food.

I've been to McMenamins a ton of times but this was the first time I had ordered the Hammerhead Cheesesteak with tots and oh my it was so good, it did not disappoint. This location has your typical McMenamins scenery with the dark lighting and the funky paintings. It also had two pool tables and a shuffle board.

enjoyed a nice quiet lunch here today! sat by the pool tables, and played some pinball between cocktails! this place is what you would expect from a McMennamims, from the decor and atmosphere to the cajun tots and ciders. food was delicious, cocktails were so good we had to have a second round! i had an espresso martini and my friend had a tequila drink on the cocktail menu that i can't remember the name of but it was like a sweet margarita?? delicious!

There are lots of pool tables and other games to play while you wait or sip your drink!

Cheap food, good drinks, and always their perfect vibe. Looking for a first date spot? Go to Mcmenamins. A hangover lunch with the crew? Go to Mcmenamins. A intramural dodgeball win celebration drink? Go to Mcmenamins! Cajun tots and blackberry cider always sounds good right? Afterwards, you're just a quick walk across the street for Prince Pucklers for ice cream and a walk through Washburn park. On a warm summer night, we love to enjoy our food and drinks outside where we can chat around fire pits and people watch incoming freshmen explore Eugene for the first time.

I love coming to McMenamins just to hang out with the homies or for the fun deals and drinks they have. This is a solid place to go for a fun cocktail night with friends or a burger and a beer, whatever the vibe is. Service is a little slow but as long as your with good company it's a good time! There is also an awesome ice cream place and bakery across the street if your looking for a fun desert after, both are open late!

The Skybar is located on the 5th floor of the building along with the Hotel lobby... uh okay. The staff are all very pleasant and accommodating. We went to the SkyBar and found it to be a smallish yet convenient place to wait for guests or visitors along with getting a drink or a bite to eat. The bar looks like it can accommodate about 30 people in the interior. There is a nice outdoor patio that can easily accommodate more when the weather is nice. The barkeeper was very attentive and observant, he took our food and drink requests at the bar and in short order, everything was presented. I had a Moscow Mule that I found to be a refreshing drink. Ginger beer, lime and vodka. An excellent combination. I also had an order of the chicken wings and fries. The fries were a normal shoestring variety, cooked well, nicely salted and came in a metal bowl. The wings I found to be outstanding! I don't usually get wings this well made unless I do it myself. I received 8 wings coated with barbecue sauce on a charcuterie board with the fries. The wings were served nicely hot. The meat was piping hot, juicy and tender. The barbecue coating was a hearty middle of the road sauce, not sweet or too smoky. It was caramelized perfectly for that sticky texture and flavor. Definitely a nice coating. Thankfully the bartender brought us a lot of napkins. The wings and fries made for a satisfying meal. The bar boasts a couple of gas fireplaces that make for a warming environment with a few semi private tables. There is a longer table for a larger group as well as several smaller tables and a few bar stools for game watching. All in all we found the bar to be a cozy semi-private environment, yet available to the guests as they come and go. All around, a nice meeting area and watering hole. We will book our family members for a stay here at the hotel. I'm looking forward to trying more of their specialty drinks.

The decor feels arbitrary and hasn't grown in the 3 years between my visits. The bartop is tiny despite plenty of wide open space in the venue, adding to that empty feeling. But it's the only tiki bar for miles and it has a unique tiki + horror theme that I appreciate: emphasizing creepy mugs, playing vintage Godzilla on the TV, and a collection of drinks named after monsters. They also have custom mugs for sale, which is always awesome to see. My partner enjoyed her Chinese Mai Tai, but my Bride of Frankenstein tasted like light cream. The service was good. They were professional and personable and bantered well with everyone around the bar. There seemed to be plenty of regulars making the rounds in the early afternoon.
