Lee in sales went out of his way to find me a fridge that met all my specs, Gilbert repaired my oven and assessed other appliances to see if repair was best option; John installed fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, offered tips on operating these models, and left the work space spotless. For a repair that was under 1 hour, they originally tried to charge me $427 with $95 of that being the part... so $332 just for service fee/labor for 1 hour of work! I complained and they only gave me $60 off. They first told me they would come out for an estimate but then did the work without providing the estimate and then provided me the massive bill... I called McNally and they had a technician out to me in a few days. The person scheduling the appointment asked questions so they knew exactly what they were working with, and he even ordered the part he suspected the repair man would need. Thank goodness he did because he was right! Gilbert, the man who came to repair the oven got right to work and replaced the sensor on our gas oven in no time. Now our oven is good to go! Service department review = Washer just kept running in one cycle. Dont have a lot of choices here in Yuba City for appliance repair. Mcnally's advised $60 just to come out not including parts or labor. My first call to mcnally's I had to wait a week and a half, without a washer. The gentleman came out, cleaned a little vent out, said that was the problem. Charged me $120.00, so that's an extra $60 to clean a vent, REALLY. The washer didnt even last 2 washes and it started again, had to go without washer for another 2 weeks, scheduled to come out today between 8am and 11, it's now 2pm still not here. Its now a month later, still not fixed! Now they wont even call me back so I paid $120 for NOTHING!!! I should get my money back, its ridiculous! Wound up having to call sears read more

Rip off, called for service, was told fee to come inspect. No problem. I gave the information on I phone about my units and also the model numbers and serial numbers. We have purchased many appliances w ext warranties from them. Good thing we did our homework & bought solid brands that have held up, until recently, we had an issue w a washer. What a hassle!!! the service dept is a mess, rude, disorganized, took months to finally get a tech out, who seemed to fumble around like he never worked on our brand of washer, I had to point things out so he could figure out the problem. A month later the part arrived, poor followup, misplaced mixed-up paperwork, the whole process has taken WAY too long. We may buy from McNally in the future but never again use their service dept. read more

My wife and I have been loyal McNally's customers for almost 40 years because of McNally's honesty, knowledge, and service. We have purchased, and had serviced, all of our appliances from McNally's. Most recently, our almost 20-year old dishwasher exhibited problems. True to form, we called McNally's and explained the symptoms. The person on the phone, Daniel, seemed very knowledgeable, experienced, patient, calm, and resourceful in learning as much as he could over the phone in order to best prepare his technician for our scheduled service. When the technician, Gilbert, arrived at our home, he immediately ran diagnostics tests, cleaned our machine, assured us our machine is still performing at strong working order (He did not try to sell us a new machine), recommended we order a part to repair the problem, and provided coaching tips on product use and practices to improve performance. We asked him to order the part, and we put his coaching points to use. As soon as McNally's received the ordered part, Gilbert returned to our home and made the repair. Throughout his service, Gilbert demonstrated he is knowledgeable, professional, engaged, and helpful. From our experience, his performance is typical of McNally's technicians over the years. We will continue to trust, and we thank, McNally's for all of our home appliance needs because of the company's time-tested high quality service, knowledge, and honesty. read more

I ask to fix 3.5 years old refrigerator, it's only not cold enough. I think need add some Freon, but they said need replace compressor at $1058.75. Then charge me $60 estimate cost. I have another refrig. before, same problem, other guy charge $150 to fill Freon and work again. So, I think for this kind problem, don't call this company to waste time & money. read more

That was three days ago and I have not heard from them. So I will never go back. If you're not going to answer your website contact me option. Then remove it. What a joke trying to get your warranty. I bought a $3,000 washer and dryer. The washer is broken and under warranty. They have been nothing but rude and making us jump through hoops to get it fixed. The lady on the phone was extremely rude to me and hung up when I asked her when they would be out to fix it and she acted the same way the last time we had issues with our washer. I never thought I'd be doing laundry at the laundry mat after buying the most expensive washer and 5 year warranty. I was under the impression that Mcnally's was different than big box stores. There is no difference. I thought I was paying more for the customer service. Whoever that girl is in the office needs to be taught some manners. read more

Still waiting for service department to bring part to repair my fridge. Service man who came to find out the problem didn't even no how to remove the fridge filter. Never again will I use this company. Service time today was from 11 am to 2 pm, 1:40 pm now. Will they make it on time? Not likely. I was right 20 mins. late and the fridge still isn't fixed. Customer service is a thing of the past with these guys. Had decor microwave that was one week past one year warranty date according to their records and they refused to check out unless I paid $40 inspection fee and $350 to replace circuitboard. I had an old washing machine (clothes) repaired. Service was good--fixed my machine at home after 3 visits. Price was high but maybe cheaper than Sears--no military discount. Fortunately, there are many competitive appliance repair shops in this area--I plan to try someone else next time. read more

I deducted one star because I thought the girl in the service department could be a little nicer and sympathetic with people whose fridge has been out for 10 days. I asked for a loaner and they didn't have any available. I don't blame them, I bought the fridge from Lowe's so I'm not one of their premiere clients. The four stars is because the young tech, Lance, they sent out here was spot on with his diagnosis and once the manufacturer got the parts to him he spent about 5 minutes to install them and our fridge works great! My dishwasher went sideways after the warranty was up, they told me to call and complain to the manufacturer and see what they would do to help me out. IT WORKED!!! Manufacturer paid for the repairs! We bought a stove here and yes, it was more expensive than at Lowe's, BUT the attention and customer service from them was priceless! Seriously, you can't put a price on that. They actually seem to care about the people buying their products, not just the money in their wallets. They delivered the stove to us no problem and installed it and answered our questions. I am giving McNally's Appliances one star because Yelp won't allow me to post without a star. My husband and I always try to buy local so we opted to give our business to McNally's in Marysville. On 4/8/17, my husband visited their Marysville store (we are Yuba City residents) because he felt that he had more choices of cooktops over there. Long story short, he purchased a cooktop and paid on the spot. The sales person (he knows who he is so I won't mention his name) informed him that the store did not have the cooktop we preferred in stock but will be promptly ordered. On 4/24/17, same sales person called and told me that they expect the cooktop in their store on 5/2/17. Husband made an appointment to deliver & install today, 5/6/17, Saturday; he was given a time window of between 9 a.m to 12 nn. 12 noon came and went, no phone calls, no delivery. At approximately 12:30, my husband called McNally's to inquire whether the delivery people are coming. (Husband called the store yesterday to confirm delivery & was told that delivery is in the book.) Manager today said that there are no scheduled delivery for Saturday; furthermore, the cooktop never arrived and is on back order & is not expected for another month. Well and good, things do happen. Our biggest complaint is : NO ONE in the store gave us the courtesy of calling and letting us know that that the cooktop did not arrive. We had to forego a trip out of town to wait for a delivery that was never coming. When my husband called to confirm delivery yesterday, a good company should have checked to ensure that the cooktop is in the store. Someone dropped the ball, unfortunately to our disadvantage. read more

I bought a washer from Lowe's and it was the loudest machine I have ever used in my life! Awful Hot Point washer....major mistake.... So I called McNally's and picked out a washer and had it delivered and they hooked it up and replaced the lines even which I wasn't expecting.... the Maytag Centennial is the best machine I have had in a long time, the service and speedy delivery from McNally's was such a stress reliever! read more

We needed a fridge quickly as we had to move and the new place was lacking one. We didn't have the money for a new fridge and this location gave us the option to buy used. We got a great fridge at a great price and super friendly service that was above and beyond what other companies do for you. And my second trip to the store gained me some spare parts for my "new to me" fridge and a vent for my over the stove microwave (the ones that the screw tabs get broken on during cleaning). This store is now my first stop when looking for anything for my kitchen or laundry room! read more

We use to purchase all our appliances from McNally's... they would deliver and install, but our last purchase of a Frigidaire Glass Top Stove/Convection Oven in 2002, the sales lady told us that they do not deliver or install these units but she knew someone that could do it for us.... They charged $60 to deliver and $150 to install, they made me feel real uncomfortable and only wanted cash and appeared to be "Tweekers", so needless to say that was the last time I purchased anything that needed to be installed. However when I did a self-cleaning on the unit, the glass cracked on the door, so I went to the Yuba City Store to inquire on the cost of a new glass, I ordered the glass and discussed what would be the hourly rate for the shop to replace the glass, he informed me that the rate was $74/hr...I figured an hour would do it and told him to order the glass and I will bring the door in when the glass comes in so they could do it. I was called a couple days later and told that the glass was in, I told the young lady that we had planned on bringing the door in to have them replace the glass and that my husband could bring it in the following day, she said ok. So my husband took it in the following day and was chewed out for not scheduling it! My husband explained that we had told both the salesman and the young lady that had called, the counter person just responded that the girl was new the day before, and that they would not get to it until the next day or two, which was not an issue for us and then he was asked for a $40 deposit in which he paid. We were then called later that day saying it was ready. My husband went to pick it up he was charged for the parts $100.64 (the price of the glass) and one hour labor @ $89/hr (?) When he asked about the deposit of $40 they said that was a shop fee! When he brought me the paper work the hand written tag showed the price for parts, the next line showed the $89 then a hand written "D" of $40 on the next then the tax, totaling all lines $237.17(ADDING THE "D" IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT), then showed the deposit paid of $40.00 showing a balance due of $197.79. He then questioned what about the $40 deposit, he was then told that was A SHOP FEE.. So a bookkeeper and service manager myself, I called and spoke to the same serviceman and just asked what it was the cost to bring something into the shop is there a flat fee, he told me that there would be a $40 DIAGNOSIS FEE, I told him what if I knew what was wrong with it.. he then got upset and asked what it was about, I explained, he recalled transaction with my husband a couple days earlier and then called it a SHOP FEE, then when I asked how come it wasn't listed in the printed invoice, he just got real upset!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
